• Q10 and Z10 active static Selector Guide

  Hi all

  I've developed a BlackBerry app and it should be compatible with resolutions Q10 and Z10. I read articles and forums. Aparently, none of them work. According to me, is a problem of IDE.

  I read to use Static Asset Selecter I must to select the active by default. I do not see this option when I open the active tab at the bar - description.xml. I could delete all the items in the active tab?

  I'm new to bbui and may not know how to work the stock bars.

  I also develop something and I don't use firefox because I don't know how to use it in the debugger, instead, I use chrome/chrome to serve as an inspector to debug. I never use browser to see a preview of my application.

  1. Create your project as usual

  3. in my case/var/www/notes in my local server apache, I put all the file from www
  4. deploy the application on my Z10
  5. debugging
  6. When I need to change something, I just change some necessary in my local web server, never touch deployed Z10 app ever, unless I have to change something in the file config.xml or add/remove plugins

• BBUI.js action bar problem press button menu contextual assessment "undefined is not an object.

  I was updating my file bbui.js to the latest version and my screen splash action bar buttons are now broken when I deploy my Dev Alpha b with the updated OS 10.2. However, when I imitate the ripple app, there is no error message and everything works.

  When I open web-insector to see what the console bed after I pressed a button:

  "TypeError: 'undefined' is not an object (evaluation of"blackberry.ui.contextmenu.CONTEXT_ALL").

  I have a button in the context menu which worked very well forward on each of the pages.

  The latest version of bbUI.js handles the Menu differently and you will need to make some changes, in addition to updating the script files.

• Is it possible to have different text in action on the action bar menu?

  I want to have the text in the action menu such as 'start my session' and have a title on the tab of the action bar that says only: "Meeting" from the beginning of that meeting is difficult to adapt. Is this possible?

  Z10 HowDoI copy a contact phone number and paste it into a text message?

  Help please. It should be so simple, but in the maze of the approaches to the contacts from the phone screen, or at home, which is the way that you you are; How to select a phone number, copy it and paste it in a text message to another contact so that I can send it?

  The logic of the interface is totally confusing for me most of the time. Can't there be just an interface contacts so that when you enter it anywhere it presents the same options to change etc. The three blobs cannot call upwards to allow a good laModifiermenu - copy/cut/paste/delete.

  Can the Favorites held permanently at the screen up with the rest of the contacts scroll beneath them?

  The only option would be to select the Edit on the contact option and hold your finger on the number and select the option copy on the left hand side.

  If your program is first items 10

  a. you are in help for first items 11, not 10, and his description of the Action/music bar tab.

  b. more unlikely since first elements 11 was not yet released, there is a typing error in the

  First Elements 10 help.

  In first 10, chronology workspace Elements, see Audio Tools (speaker icon) above the timeline and his choice of SmartSound.

• Reduce the space between the Research/Action Bar and IR header

  I know, it's a small thing - the space between the Research/Action Bar and interactive report column headings.  But when you want / must include paging at the top of a report, the extra space looks quite great.  Here is an example based on the theme 21 Scarlet.

  If you need to add a back bar simply add the data-bb-back-caption in the action bar div as below:
  

  Then you can simply add the other items in the action within this division bar

  Restore point:

  Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.

  Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...

  Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.

  If restore work not and you do not have a Vista DVD from Microsoft, do a repair disc to do a Startup Repair:

  Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.

  Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

  At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.

  When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.

  Download the Vista software from the link above.

  After installing above ISO burning software, right click on the Knoppix ISO file > copy the Image to a CD.

  Knoppix is not installed on your PC; use only the resources of your PC, RAM, graphics etc.

  Change the boot order in YOUR computer/laptop to the CD/DVD Drive 1^st in the boot order.

  Plug a Flash Drive/Memory Stick, BOOT with the Live CD, and you should be able to read the hard drive.

  When the desktop loads, you will see at least two drive hard icons on the desktop (one for your hard drive) and one for the USB key.

  Click on the icons of hard drive to open and to understand which drive is which.

  Click the icon for the USB drive and click on "Actions > Change the read/write mode" so you can write to disk (it is read-only by default for security reasons).

  Now to find the files you want to back up, just drag and drop them on the USB. When you're done, shut down the system and remove the USB key.

• Disable the Animation of the action bar while hiding

  BB10 photos Soft mask the action bar when you tap on the screen. When you do so, the action bar disappears immediately.

  In an application of Cascades, if you:

  Page-> setActionBarVisibility (ChromeVisibility::Hidden);

  ... the action bar to slide down until it is no longer visible.

  I would like to disable this animation, but I don't know how. For the standard controls, I do things like:

  ratingControl-> setImplicitLayoutAnimationsEnabled (false);

  ImplicitAnimationController = allDisabled
  ImplicitAnimationController::create (ratingControl)
  . Enabled (false);

  ... but I'm not familiar with a way to get a reference to the action bar itself, or how, independently of any reference to disable animation.

  Hi Daniel,.

  If you switch between hidden and visibility for the ActionBar overlay it will appear/disappear without animation. Overlay, that's what the photos app uses so the image should not resize when the ActionBar toggle visibility.

  Any QNX control should be wrapped in a Flex control that you want to include in the MXML. It works well as a control of AS3.
