Hey Buddy, I had the fix.

Use Java 6 JRE 32 bit version. Uninstall any other Java (or rename the folders). Good luck.

  • Ripple error deployment to the simulator fails

Hi, I'm taking my first steps in development of BB. My company asked me to do a BB - app with IBM work lamp. I installed the SDK Webworks, waving and a BB Simulator (model 9900). I also added the necessary environment variables on Windows 7. I did a hybrid application that contains the html, css and javascript. After the creation and deployment of the local console of the work light, I can open the app with ripple. After the start of the services, I can pack and start the work of packing App., but the deployment on the simulator fails. I get the following error:

    Spawning Simulator 9900 - 7.0.0.384...

stderr: CreateProcessW: the system cannot find the specified file.

    Exit take flight for 9900 - 7.0.0.384

I have seen this error on the forum, but others had when packing. I get it through to the Simulator. Can someone help me with this?

I solved my problem by choosing another Simulator, 9860-model. Ripple now starts the Simulator, which is extremely slow. The hotswap function crashes immediately, but the Simulator works with my application. However I am concerned that blackberry development tools is so buggy. But as long as I don'tn use the simulator that's good enough.

  • Ripple Build: [ERROR] Failed to run launching java.exe.

    Hello BB community

I have a problem with the Chrome Ripple 0.9.8 extension I could not find such an error in google.

When I click on the build, it shows error:

Oh, Snap! Build request failed with the message: [ERROR] failed to run java.exe launch.

and create the file .zip in the output folder

    I have Java 6, 7 and 7 installed SDK

The problem was that I moved manually SDK Webworks directory to another location.
the solution is to change the path to the bbwp.properties file in:
C:\...\BlackBerry SDK software WebWorks for Tablet 2.2.0.5\bbwp\bin

  • Error in the application using emulator ripple of packaging

Hello everyone, I'm on emulator running continuous for the packaging of the app for blackberry help SDK Blackberry Webworks 2.3.1.5 7os.

When I click the package button I get error as follows:

Build request failed with the message: error: ENOENT, remove the link "C:\Documents and Settings\AtikJ\RippleSites\HelloWorld\PKG\HelloW.zip".

So please suggest me some solutions...

    Thanks for your reply...
My machine is computer 32-bit... Also I use JDK 1.7...

    I solved this problem...
It must specify the path of our webworks SDK in the option settings of the emulator of the ripple.
So avoid all space charater in the path of the SDK...
for example c:/Program Files / Research In Motion /... is not valid.

    c:/ResearchInMotion/BlackberrySDK2.3.1.5... This is correct.

Another thing I've done is in the bbwp.properties file located in the webworks SDK bin directory... I've provided the correct path of the JDK. Also I put environment variables.

After completing these steps cod and alx files are generated.

  • How to solve the Oh Snap! Build request failed with the message: [ERROR] error: Please enter a valid application with ripple version

    Hi all

"" I use ripple to package and sign my application, but it shows the error "[ERROR] error: Please enter a valid application version.

I search the Web but I don't get any resolution.

anyone here help me out? Thank you

Whenever you sign an application, it gets a version number. This version number is incremented by one every time that you sign. The message indicates that you are trying to sign an application with a version that has already been signed. Try the following

ripple in 1) will build-->--> number of set parameters and set the number manually. Make sure a number that has not yet been signed. If you know the value to 100 or 300 according to the number of times that you have signed the application.

    (2) otherwise, go to your config file and change the version of the application of the version = "1.0.0.0" version = "1.0.1.0.

    Hope this helps

  • Error of the ripple: Oh Snap! Build request failed with the message: CreateProcessW

    Hello

I installed the Mobile Emulator 0.9.1 ripple with SDK for Tablet 2.2.0.5 WebWorks, following the instructions exacly on a Windows 7 64-bit machine.

If I try to package virtually any application (HelloWorld, weather, examples, something more complex, whatever), I get the following error:

Oh Snap! Build request failed with message: CreateProcessW: The system cannot find the file specified.

I tried a lot of things. I'm guessing that it's a mistake with the SDK, since I can enter any path to any folder that exists on my HD as the path to the SDK and I get the same error.

Path SDK: SDK for Tablet 2.2.0.5 WebWorks c:\RIM\BlackBerry

    The project root: c:\Users\Username\RippleSites\AppName

    Archive name: AppName

    Output folder: c:\

I tried different paths for the foregoing, moving my code and by reinstalling the SDK.

I'm at my wits end - about to renounce WebWorks.  Any ideas?

It seems %SystemRoot%/system32 and any % were missing from my path variable. All good - too bad!

  • Error: Failed to create the application process: operation not permitted - deployment of ripple to Dev Alpha

    Hey people,

I was puzzled on this the last bit of time and can't seem to find a solution. (The closest thing I could find is here: http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/Web-and-WebWorks-Development/Webapp-not-starting-on-device-VM... but there does appear to be a response [UPDATE: Adam Stanley mentioned that it was due to a missing Debug token, and this isn't the case for me.])

When I try to "Package & launch" of the ripple, the project is created correctly and even installs the application on the device (is the application icon on the home screen). However, when he tries to run the application, the console of the ripple spit:

"Error: cannot create the application process: operation not permitted".

Any later attempt to open the application from the icon on the screen will result in an immediate fall.

As an attempt to circumvent, I use "Package & sign" and then run the blackberry-deploy with installApp - launchApp - tool options and... it generates the same error as described above.

I'm working on OS X, and I successfully installed the Webworks SDK as well as the undulation on Chrome Plugin. I have a project together upward with a running python web server and can view the content properly on the ripple. I have my signature correctly registered keys and I generated the file debugtoken.bar. I downloaded the debugtoken on the alpha dev successfully device and placed a copy of the debugtoken.bar file in the root folder of the SDK Webworks. The unit is in developer mode.

    Someone at-troubleshooting suggestions?

[Edited for format (original post deleted line breaks) and also to highlight a number of things]

So after getting back to the question, I loaded build with the SDK 1675 Webworks (1.0.4.5) published today, and I was able to go beyond the permission error that plagued me previously.

Thanks again for the help Adam.

After trying various things, I came across the solution, by sheer luck, I guess. When you compile a Sencha Touch app, it compiles the sass file and creates a cache. Sencha Touch is not delete the folder ".sass_cache" once it did the compilation. This seemed weird questions with the operation of a BB10 webworks app package. He would stop with the message above on the different file compression.

After you have removed all the contents of the folder '.sass_cache' using ' rm - rvf *' I was able to do this successfully the package.
