  There is a bug in receivables registered for this. See Note 1403724.1: what treatment AR invoice with tax exempt handling value is not put in the credit memo.

• Touch screen of 8 HP flow works not

  I recently brought a Stream 8.1 Windows 8 tablet. I installed WIndows 10 Technical preview on that and it installed fine, but I'm stuck on the boot screen Windows get, the touchscreen does not work, but touch the Tablet works in UEFI/BIOS.

  Before I installed Windows 10 I wiped the internal memory, this included the recovery partition.

  Is there a way to put the recovery on the tablet or retrieve the Tablet USB cable screw from my PC?

  If you did a clean install of Windows 10 and have not upgraded 8.1 existing windows, you need to install the drivers on the site hp.com as well the touchscreen and other devices to operate.  You have an adapter OTG and USB hub that you could plug a mouse and a keyboard in?  It seems that you would have needed to do the installation? That would allow you to log in and install the drivers.  You will first need to download them on another computer and access it from the stream via USB drive or micro SD card.

  If the recovery partition is gone and you have not created the media of recovery to the point 8.1 of Windows, you will need to order it from HP, and I think it currently costs $40 plus taxes and shipping.

• HP 15 F018dx: Order HP recovery discs

  Hello. I plan to order a recovery disc for my HP laptop because I don't win 10 and I don't have an option to downgrade.

  So, I have a few questions.

  1. I was check the command option Win 8.1 recovery disks for my HP system and it seems that the cost is from $45 plus shipping small. I think I read in another thread someone said that if you are still in warranty you can get for free.  Is this true? I think that 55 days there. Or I have to pay the tax and shipping?

  For question 1. HP does not ship recovery disc all the time, even if the unit is under warranty. Since the HP because designed a tool to inform its customers to create the recovery disk once they have bought the device. Since you have upgraded the operating system for Windwos 10 and want to return to Windows 8. 1. so if you have upgraded to Windows 10 is within 30 days, then you can restore Windows 8.1 without using the recovery disk. But if who crossed for 30 days, then you must order the HP recovery disk.

  For Question 2. The Windows 8.1 you download on the Microsoft site would be a copy in the Windows retail and the key that was used for your system will not work with the retail windows, as it is an OEM version (Original equipment manufacturer). Then I suggest you to order the recovery disk that you can use it in future if the OS crashes or hardware failures.

  My tablet will not fully charge. It will not turn on. After about an hour or two to leave it on the charger, the LED will Flash between red and blue. I tried the long hold button power, increase the volume and power button hold etc.

  Its been 3 days as the supposed to exit the Clip + at normal retailers and there is still absolutely no sign that the Clip + is even anywhere outside Bestbuy. Despite this, when I asked if the bestbuy here at Kohler (Wisconsin) had one, they had no idea what it was. I guess if Bestbuy here never gets the clip +, they only provide 4 GB because that's all they have online. It's even worse since the half of the reason why the Clip + is first place was to boast of its massive 8 GB of capacity (for its size). Do you think I should give up the thought of Bestbuy never get a 8gig model? The only reason why I'm asking because I didn't want to not pay more than the price of the retail and then wait for shipping, but if I have to in order to get a 8 GB model, I would.

  This brings me to the part 2 of the question... Lets say I order online and decide extra $ 15 isn't really bad for shipment the next day. Is this useful? and if someone ever ordered something with expedition the next day, how long did you really get your (number of days) and the time of day (just curious)...

  For settings

  Similarly, you could do to prices per item, tax and shipping.

• An another HP Pavilion 1002 reformat error

  So my computer was running a bit slow and not quite as good as when I got it. So I decided to make a system reformat using the HP Recovery disk program and start over. So I made records and of course, I get the "1002 error if the problem persists contact HP customer care" when I inserted the disc 2e around 44%. I called customer service and he suggested that I buy recovery discs I ordered again but have not yet received. However, after looking through these forums I discovered that he is more likely to be problem DMI (Desktop Management Interface). Confirm it because the computer stopped working a long time ago when the warranty was still in place and they replaced the motherboard. I highly doubt that they equated the DMI with the original hard drive in my computer, thus inhibiting my ability to reformat my computer. The computer was working fine until I reformatted and more that it is a little slower than when I arrived it is not rare. So I couldn't be something before I tried to reformat.

  If just because I tried to reformat my computer, which should be included in the property rights when you buy a computer, I'm on a laptop now. I called customer service and basically, they told me that I have to pay $ 400 to repair even if it wasn't user error, external or internal abuses caused by me. Customer service agent even went up to basically say "I would like to buy a new laptop that spending 400 to fix your old.

  I guess I write just on this forum to see if there anything I can possibly do to get my laptop fixed without having to pay half of what it was when I bought it new because it's not my fault.

  Hey thanks for the reply. Given that I have not received any help from HP, I tried to use what I have computers to solve the problem myself little knowledge. To my surprise, I managed to fix my computer! I found a "anytime upgrade" dicsc vista comes with the computer and tried to reinstall windows vista with the CD key on the bottom of my laptop. I couldn't believe it, but it worked!

  I still think that the DMI error still exists, so I think it's actually impossible to restore "Parameters HP" using recovery discs. By reinstalling windows, I bypassed the error, I can't use the hp recovery program and all programs preinstalled HP on any computer hp laptop disappeared. I do not consider that it's really a problem but because they take a lot of space and are often unnecessary.

  My computer works better has never before. I love playing PC games and ensure the best price I've seen on my machine. In regards to your solution, it's a lot of new laptops and (mine is one of them) are unable to run XP due to incompatibility of materials. Believe me, I would install XP in a heartbeat if I could.

  To make even more than a note of incompetence of HP: when I fist called tech agent advised me to buy HP recovery discs. However, I finished fixing my computer before the disks arrived so I thought it would be quite reasonable to ask for a refund. So I called them back and the agent told me that they would not repay the discs because they are changing for disks, but for work. ARE YOU KIDDING ME! $ 26 for them to put it in a box and send it to me? I told him that the technician on the phone who advised me to buy the records said they cost $ 26 more taxes and shipping was free. He never mentioned that send the disc was just a cost of labor. I can't believe they tried to pull this garbage. Fortunately, they gave and they said that I would receive a refund in the next billing cycle.

  The last time I buy an HP laptop... NEVER

  Bottom line well if you encounter this problem, you may just need to find a upgrade disk and reinstall using the key on the bottom of your laptop. Or buy a new copy of it and install it. I wouldn't install a different OS that came with your, if it does not work. Good luck man!
