Touch screen of 8 HP flow works not

I recently brought a Stream 8.1 Windows 8 tablet. I installed WIndows 10 Technical preview on that and it installed fine, but I'm stuck on the boot screen Windows get, the touchscreen does not work, but touch the Tablet works in UEFI/BIOS.

Before I installed Windows 10 I wiped the internal memory, this included the recovery partition.

Is there a way to put the recovery on the tablet or retrieve the Tablet USB cable screw from my PC?

Thank you!

If you did a clean install of Windows 10 and have not upgraded 8.1 existing windows, you need to install the drivers on the site hp.com as well the touchscreen and other devices to operate.  You have an adapter OTG and USB hub that you could plug a mouse and a keyboard in?  It seems that you would have needed to do the installation? That would allow you to log in and install the drivers.  You will first need to download them on another computer and access it from the stream via USB drive or micro SD card.

If the recovery partition is gone and you have not created the media of recovery to the point 8.1 of Windows, you will need to order it from HP, and I think it currently costs $40 plus taxes and shipping.

  • HP Touchsmart: Touch screen accidentally disabled decide and PC not install mouse

My HP Touchsmart was installing all new devices, the slice would always fail. Try to fix it I went to the Device Manager and accidentally disabled the touch screen device. Now I can't click the screen anyway, so I was wondering if there is that a way to factory reset the computer without a connection inside or by clicking on the screen or to activate the touch screen (once again without being able to click on the screen). If you would like more information for a solution please ask. So basically no mouse, touchscreen disabled and can not use my computer! Thank you.

Yes, you can reset the computer without going through Windows, but I advise to use a mouse to touch before you do. Also try to start in sate mode and allowing the touch function.

    See suite for the reset:

  • Inspiron 15 3552 (N3050) screen brightness keys don't work not (Win10)

    Hello

I have a Dell Inspiron 15 3552. The laptop comes with Linux, but I recently used a windows license, I have to install Windows Pro x 64 10. Everything works well except one thing:

The brightness keys don't seem to work. I checked the power settings where there is a slider for brightness and the bar changes the brightness when I drag them with the mouse. In the Windows Mobility Center, there is also a similar bar that can change the brightness with the mouse successfully. I tried to boot in the BIOS (F2) and brightness keys it seems to work, so the problem seems to be only under Windows.

Windows found all 10 drivers for the laptop, but I installed the display driver that I found using the Service tag. I didn't install anything else. I also tried to uninstall intel drivers and use the default Microsoft ones, but the buttons were 'dead' again.

To install windows, I changed the Boot Option (UEFI) legacy and turned off the quick start... All other Fn keys (such as the audio for example) seem to work.

I would like to get the keys to work because he was such an important feature for a laptop.

    Thanks in advance.

PS. I also found this driver in page of intel which ends with the same version of 4 digits that downloaded from dell, but all the other numbers are different. Don't know if it's the same thing or do not give it a try.

It was the quickset application. Once installed, everything works as it should.

BCC116 may be related to the video driver, vram, heat, the map itself, low power supply.

We would be happy to take a look if you have downloaded the DMP files as below.

We need the DMP file because it contains the single record of the sequence of events that led to the accident, what drivers have been loaded, and what has been loaded.

    If you are overclocking STOP

You may be able to get the DMP files without crashing by booting in SafeMode (F8) with networking.

Please follow these instructions to collect data against crashes and upload them here, to your Skydrive or a service such as Rapidshare file sharing.

  • Satellite U920T - touch screen does not

The touch screen on my U920T satellite does not work from a few days back.
I can't find all the settings for touch or any (except the touchpad) touchscreen device in Device Manager.

I'm not sure exaclty when he started to malfunction.
I installed the 8.1 Windows a few months ago and had a problem with the card wireless at the beginning, but the problem with the touch screen just appeard this week.

What driver Toshiba control the touch screen?
Is it a hardware problem or software?

    Hello

To be honest there is no special driver to control the touch screen.
The driver is provided by the Windows System.

I think you should get the laptop back to factory settings but I fear that this will not solve the problem of Mr. smells like a hardware problem because I found some threads here in this forum about the dysfunction of the touch screen and especially the problem could be solved by service agents.

By the way: before you run the recovery process try to configure the stylus and touch screen.
Go to the control panel (Windows key + X-> Control Panel)-> Tablet PC setting.
The first display tab contains options such as configure screen stylus and touchscreen.
Here, you should be able to start the installation program and identify the touchscreen.
The first option must contain 1 internal LCD
At the bottom, you might find button to calibrate and reset the settings for the internal LCD.

  • Satellite S50t-B touch screen no longer works

    Hello

My partner bought a S50t-B Satellite probably 5-6 months and everything worked perfectly, until she had a few updates to windows that has happened, and now the touch HID compatible drivers are apparently disabled in Device Manager?

The touch screen no longer works, and I've pretty much exhausted all the options I could think.

I tried to reinstall windows, apply all updates via the service center, I can't find the drivers for the touch screen on the support Web site downloads section and the bios etc is all to date.

I was hoping someone could shed some light on how to proceed with this issue, since the main reason, she bought there the touch screen function.

    Thanks, Keegan

I don't have any idea what system you have installed, but if the laptop was equipped with touch screen, additional drivers for touchscreen are not necessary.
If touch screen is working properly, the Windows (Win 8.1) should detect it automatically.

What Satellite S50t-B-ooo do you excatly?
From my point of few, the laptop must be set to settings factory just to check if its really a software related issue... so I wonder why you do not use HARD drive recovery or recovery media to restore the laptop to factory settings?

  • (Redirected) Touch screen does not

I have a Dell place 10 Pro 5055 Tablet and keyboard. I have restored factory system, when I bought the Tablet from a friend who became a new and after completing the resetting of the touch screen no longer works. The touchscreen driver does not even appear in the list of drivers on the computer. I looked at the page of support for him and there is no driver touch screen that I can find. I know it's touch screen since he used to work but I can't find a driver for it.

  • HP Touchsmart TM 2 touch screen does not

I had some problems for a few months with the touch screen. He started first of not being able to move around the screen with my finger. I worry too much about this because this isn't something that I use often, but this morning I opened my laptop and now the touchscreen does not at all.

I cleaned the screen and restarted the laptop and updated the driver, nothing. I looked at the problem and most people seem to solve it by going to control panel > hardware and sound > Pen and Touch > tab key (or) Pan. But I do not have a contact tab or panoramic in the window. The only tabs are Pen Options, shortcuts and handwriting, which are activated.

I haven't settled the settings under the touch control panel, I didn't even know they were there. I have not installed or uninstalled major programs in the past year, and nobody else has been on this laptop. The last time I restarted the laptop was two days ago, and the touch screen worked.

If someone has an answer to this, I would be very grateful. I use this laptop for drawing on Photoshop so if I can't solve this problem, I'll be very depressed.

    Data sheet:

    Windows 7 64 bit

HP Touchsmart TM 2 model WV733AV

: RESOLVED: my boyfriend and I were able to get it fixed. Here's how we did it.

We had to take off the black frame that surrounds the touch screen. There are two screws under the little buttons black rubber in the corners of the bottom of the screen. The rest of the frame appears simply easily if you use a small Flathead screwdriver. When the frame is fully extended, we managed to remove all the screws that attach the screen to the laptop, and we carefully picked up the screen.

There should be two obvious wires coming from the back of the screen, one at the bottom of the screen to connect to the main part of the laptop, and another covered with fabric black flat cable attached to the end of the cover that you just pulled the screen since then. It is the wire that delivers the information of 'touch' to the laptop. It is connected by a small plug in the circuit board, and that's what usually wiggles free over time.

    * All you have to do is to ensure that it is EXTREMELY safe. We had to unplug it and plug it in again. It worked for us.

I hope this help anyone who also has problems with their touch screen. It's annoying that it was able to disconnect, although it clips in and is also attached to the bottom by the manufacturers.
