  Have you tried to save your Movie Maker project
  in the format of WMV movie to a folder on your hard drive
  disk before importing in DVD Maker?

  Sorry... I don't have the exact answer, but I know
  some questions that may contribute to this problem...

  (1) using the incompatible sources in the project files.

  Several formats are apparently compatible with
  Movie Maker, but the most reliable choices are:

  Photos - bmp
  Video - wmv
  Audio - wav, wma, wmv

  (2) the project is too large and/or complex.

  The fix for this would be to create several small
  projects and save each of them in the movie WMV
  format in a folder on your hard drive.

  The collected WMV files can then be re-imported
  in Movie Maker to bring together in a single
  film or they can be imported into DVD Maker
  and each comes a scene on a DVD.

  (3) codec issues.

  Sometimes, this can be corrected by opening film
  Manufacturer and go to the... Tools / Options / Compatibility
  tab, and uncheck all filters / OK.

  Not an option if you are running Live Movie maker
  but you can do it in DVD Maker,

  The .vob file format is not a supported format file Windows DVD maker. You can try to convert the video files to a supported file format and then try to burn the DVD still. Windows DVD Maker supports digital video files in WMV or AVI container format.

  I develop the creation of a DVD using Encore CS4 (legal) for Windows. In the DVD, there will be additional files (some PDF) properly engraved on the DVD with still. The DVD resulting has two folders: "FIles" and "TS_VIDEO.

  In Windows, I can perfectly read PDF files in the folder of files, Mac, this folder appears, but it is empty. In the two systems of the DVD (menus and movies) works fine.

  Welcome to the forum.

  It seems that the Mac does not see the contents of the ROM on your drive. I wonder if the file naming convention (in most cases, file extensions are not used on the Mac, but a file "finder" is used instead) is in the way. As I am a PC user, I can't tell you what will be Mac - fix, but I bet Mac users, who can content ROM.

  It would be nice that rather than use to full production, including the contents of the ROM, you will need to make authoring in Encore, burn on file, build the folder containing both Mac & PC (maybe two different folders?) and then use a program like the large, free burning utility, ImgBurn, burn the VIDEO_TS folder (and files) and then content ROM.

  It's just a guess, but I had content on the disks disappear if I MacDrive (a PC utility for reading and the use of the content of Mac) running and insert a CD/DVD from PC. I suppose that similar could occur with the PC ROM content and it is visualized on a Mac.

  Good luck and we hope that a Mac user sounds we say if I am mistaken, or completely false.
