beepd elite 8200e upright

I've just set up a new desktop HP Compaq 8200 Elite Small Form Factor computer. If I boot the PC in a vertical position, I get a series of four beeps and the PC does not start. If I put myself in a horizontal position, it starts very well. If I then go back to the vertical position it works ok.

Hi Paul, thanks for your post - sorry to answer so late - just forgot.

I solved this by turning my PC the other way is to say with the slots at the top. I also supported the video connector / cable more firmly to keep it from the card (its quite a heavy connector).

Now work for more than two weeks - no problem.

I think it must be the weight of the video connectors 'pull' the connectors from the card to the slot for card or something like that.

Thanks anyway

    Hello:

I recommend that stick you with the video cards listed as supported for your Elite SFF-8200.

240W power supply does not manage much more.

Supported video cards are listed on the link below on page 14.

If you would rather try another map those listed that would work with your P/S, then it may or may not work.

They are not necessarily locked work.

  • HP Elite 8300 SFF: his low profile card

I have an Elite SFF 8300 and am looking for a card low profile with coaxial output so that I can use it on my sound game of boston that has a coaxial input. I tried without success.

    Thank you

Thank you for the information, @PeterHB.

Here are the system requirements for the card:

    The system configuration required
    • 1.0 GHz Intel / AMD CPU
    • 1 GB OF RAM
    • A free PCIe slot
    • A free location for the digital expansion
    • Internet connection for downloading drivers and software
    • Microsoft Windows XP/Vista/7/8

The card is compatible with Win 7.  However, I have highlighted in orange system requirements you must check to ensure that they are available.  Apart from that, I think that the card should work.  I always offer the check with the Technical Support of the manufacturer is a good choice.  They are the experts on their products.

  • Superior experience of Office Elite x 3:10 third-party Windows applications not (Windows Mobile 10)

One of the reasons why I bought the X 3 elite was the attractive option to use it as a PC. I quickly learned that this meant. Not like a PC Windows 10. but rather A Windows Mobile format on the larger screen. A PC or a desktop experience would be for me means the use of many Windows 10 applications and set third-party apps. Experience in the future with a very strong focus on the experience of office with the elite x 3 y at - it something that I am missing and there will be opportunity for a desktop Windows 10 real updates.

    Hello

Elite x 3 uses the mixture of Microsoft function to view the applications on your screen 'big screen '.  Since this feature is part of Windows Mobile 10, only some applications Windows Mobile 10 will work Continuum.

For more information you can view this document on the Continuum: http://h20566.www2.hp.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?docLocale=en_US & docId = emr_na-c05170163 & sp4ts.oid = 10722027

However, HP has a solution called workspace that will allow customers to run their standard Windows programs on the elite x 3: hp.com/go/workspace.  It is only available to customers of commerical so it may not work for you.

Personally, I use TeamViewer remote connect to my other laptop when I need to run regular programs.

  • X 3 elite: problem with OneDrive on X 3

My Elite app OneDrive of X 3 displays all files and folders. In fact, most are missing. Yet, can see everything on my 1020 Lumia OneDrive app, and I can see everything at the signing in the X 3 edge browser OneDrive.

All W10 updates have been installed on the X 3. No problem to access other synced the Microsoft Account data, such as contacts and appointments. The problem started when I open a pdf of the X 3 OneDrive app, using the Adobe Acrobat application. The Acrobat application resulted in a message saying that there was a mistake, several times while the document was opened. I don't remember the exact error statement, but there is no error code, no definition of the error at all, just a simple statement, that there was a mistake.

I also turned off and restarted the X 3, nothing helps.

Hello. Yes, I looked at all the files. The solution was found here,

    http://forums.windowscentral.com/HP-elite-X3/438802-3.htm

in the thread between karlo88 and Daniel Rubino. Turns out that the X 3, in my opinion, is not ready to use for business, it's target market.

  • Elite x 3 Dock desktop: desktop dock use lan

Just a quick question: the x 3 uses the connection to the local network of the dock office. It seems to me that it does not work. There seems to be no LAN settings in Windows Mobile 10 when it is docked.

If this isn't the case, he plans to use the LAN DeskDock x 3 connectivity in the near future?

    Thank you

    Yes it works.

I tried on my HP Elite x 3 by turning off cell phones and WiFi and connect an ethernet cable. For example, I could update my Garmin maps, which was a 3 GB download. (Note that this is super fast like wired is generally much faster than the wireless.)

Also by email, browser WhatsApp and Edge worked as usual.

There is actually no settings to configure, but most networks are DHCP / autoconfig anyway.

  • HP Elite 2 1012 G1 x compressed: could not connect to the WIN10 on my HP Elite x 2 1012 G1 Tablet

I just bought a compressed 2 1010 G1 x elite and have followed the instructions on the screen to install and create a password to logon and name of WIN10.  I created a Local user, because I have no idea what to with the 'Hello' connect creation - I decided to do this later once I was firmly connected to WIN10.   Everything seemed to work properly in WIN10, so I downloaded my computer security of CHECKPOINT software, created my email accounts, which also worked properly. When I rebooted so to carryon install my programs, I could no longer connect on WIN10, it rejects my password.

Having not created a password reset button - simply because I didn't know you had to do at this point, I had no choice but to reset it and reinstall the entire system, once again - after spending a lot of time trying to find the relevant documents on how to do it.  Let me clarify - I live in France;  the WIN operating system including instructions is in French even though I asked the apps to be in English (as is my native language).

I have spent 31/2 hours to reinstall the system, and once again I asked the user Local + password - which has been accepted by Windows 10.  So as to avoid wasting time, I rebooted to see if I could log on again... and NO, Windows refuses again to accept my logon, which means I'll have, once again, reinstall the full WIN10 operating system!  I'm laughing about that!  I need to know:

    • What is needed when first creating a Local user logon?  (which is mandatory in setting the password)
    • Should I create a password reset USB key as soon as I'm connected initially to WIN10?
    • Or do I have to change the password to logon first using the password reset button once the WIN10 OS has been installed and the initial password created?

Please tell me what I should do or do not properly, so Windows 10 connect without problems in the future.

Thank you very much for the help.

    Hello @Jay_16

I'm not sure what happening to your sign into account either.

    For test purposes...

Do create not a password at first. When installing, leave the boxes empty user password when first asked to create you a.

Also do not install other programs until you have this sorting.

Now test it to see if it allows you to.

After that, go to your account settings > connection options and create a password for 123 very simple (again to test only) and thus to create a USB password reset disk.

Reboot and see if it accepts simple password.

If so, then make a stronger password and a new reset key reader.

If this is not the case, try the reset button to see if it works.

If it does not, has something else was wrong, I don't know of.

  • How to add to my HP Pavilion Elite HPE-590uk Usb 3.0

Hi does anyone know if I can improve my HP Pavilion Elite HPE-590uk for usb 3.0 and if so could you recommend a product that I could buy to do this.  Thanks in advance.

    One of them check it:

    http://www.overclockers.co.UK/showproduct.php?ProdID=CC-003-AK

This is to use a pci-e x 1 card. You have 2 these slots available. This will show you how do:

    http://h10032.www1.HP.com/CTG/manual/c02255267.PDF

See the section on the replacement of a card.

Instead of plugging on the long black slot which is a video card plug into one of the slots black short. You have Windows 7 I think which means that you will need a driver, but that should come on a CD with the card. Will need you a power connector (molex) on the map, too.

  • Graphics card suited Elite 8000-SFF

    Hello

I want to update the graphics card for my desktop SFF PC: HP Compaq 8000 Elite SFF (Intel Core 2 Duo E8600 3.33 Ghz processor, 4 G of DDR3 RAM, Intel GMA 4500). I know that the Radeon HD 6350 will work well in my system. Could you please recommend a graphics card for my system is better than the HD 6350? Radeon HD 7750 half-height works well?

    Thanks in advance

You know that the limit will be this anemic 135w power supply. He'll be a card low profile bus-powered.

I think you have done your homework well because as best as I can tell, the low profile 7750 HD is your best bet:
