Behance for iOS questions - Adobe ID & report a bug

It has been very difficult to use the Behance on the iPhone.

It disconnects constantly, on average once a week and each update. This means that I can't enjoy the notifications, because when I see need to connect again and therefore don't receive any notification.

When I try to account for this bug, I get message that the e-mail contact [email protected] can not be sent because that ' it takes BehanceMobile know that before you will accept your message. "

What?

It's sad, because the demand is good, but this connection to Adobe is unbearable. And to be honest, I realized this problem of disconnection in the applications Adobe Lightroom and creative cloud.

Connection of Adobe system is in serious trouble. And the Behance the application report is useless.

It's frustrating.

  • Leak memory for iOS Adobe Access API problem

    Hello

    We try to develop an iOS app (with activated ARC) using Adobe access API 4.0 and we have identified that the function [drmManager createDRMSession] a memory leak.

    DRMSESSION = [drmManager createDRMSession: METADATA playlist:PLAYLIST error: void full:^()}];

    We use:

    DRMSESSION-> low

    METADATA-> strong (such as the need to share within the object)

    PLAYLIST-> strong (such as the need to share within the object)

    After the call to this function, the object cannot dealloc and most leaked networking-related (for example, CFNetwork...)

    Is this a known issue for iOS Adobe Access API or're missing us a few key steps.

    Any suggestion is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    ans0600, sorry about that, I read front of Hiroshi too quickly.  I did some digging and have developed two alternatives:

    1. Create a file with CRA disabled in order to translate the object returned to be an autorelease
    2. declare the DRMSession returned as __unsafe_unretained and use CFRelease, such on stackexchange

    In the future, we can change this method to return an autoreleased object to avoid this problem.  Let us know if you have any other questions!

  • Adobe Access - new drmNativeInterface.framework for iOS 8

    Hello

    We are a company that uses Adobe Access for more than one year and up to now, we are very pleased with the fact that Adobe 4 access can support content DRM playback on desktop / Android and iOS with no problems.

    But recently, to prepare the next iOS 8, I upgraded my development iPhone 5 and iPad 2 to iOS 8 beta and tdrmNativeInterface.framework it starts to work incorrectly. Sometimes I can listen to my content DRM HLS, sometimes just drmNativeInterface.framework stuck in the Middle without error or exception (this problem quite often as 7 of 10 times). After debugging line by line, this is the piece of code that make the stucked frame without any error or exception.

    1. the frame sometimes stops working when we try to get the singleton instance of DRMManger

    _drmManager = [DRMManager sharedManager];

    2. sometimes it stops when trying to analyze the M3U8 url:

    [_drmManager getUpdatedPlaylist: m3u8Url ]

    error: drmErrorHandler

    ( updated:^(NSURL * newPlaylist, DRMMetadata * newMetadata) {}

    NSLog()@ 'List updated M3U8 Player URL to the licensing process');

    //Successfully retrieved metadata link

    m3u8PlayList = newPlaylist;

    _Metadata = newMetadata;

    }];

    3. sometimes it stops when the DRMSession is initialized (after authentication of the users is complete)

    _SESSION = [_drmManager]

    createDRMSession:_metadata

    playlist:m3u8PlayList

    ( error:^(NSUInteger majorCode, NSUInteger minorCode, NSError * platformError) {}

    NSLog (@ "Unable to get the DRM Session");

    }

    full:^{

    NSLog()@ "The DRM Session successfully obtained");

    }];

    Most of the time, it stops when we try to get the instance of the singleton DRMManager (number 1)

    I can assure that the framework works very well with iOS6 and iOS7 (although the iPhone 4 with iOS7 crashes so that a lot during the initialization of DRMSession).

    If there is new version of drmNativeInterface.framework, please let me know where we get one like the drmNativeInterface.framework we use is old enough (for iOS5 I think).

    Thank you very much.

    Jack

    We received a call from Adobe this morning discussing Adobe Access support on iOS 8.

    For someone who has the same problem, here's the answer: you need to update your complete Adobe Access platform to the Adobe Primetime platform to run on iOS 8, the current SDK is no longer supported.

    We do not know how much work needed to be done as Adobe Primetime does not HDS support and for each platform Adobe will implement a native SDK, which means that we have pretty much REWRITE all of our applications. It is shocking for us news as our all our applications (Desktop, Web, Android) have been built using Flash.

    Adobe, please tell us before hand if you guys have a big decision like this.

  • Is Adobe Reader for iOS and Android Support with Solution PKI encryption?

    Hello

    I searched for an answer if Adobe Reader for iOS and Android can read PDF files encrypted by infrastructure solution to public key (encrypted by a public key, in order to be decrypted by the private key pair), but to date I have not found the answer.  From the Adobe web site, I understand that Adobe Reader for Android supports to read a document encrypted with AES256 but it does not mention on PKI.  I had to guess it does not support encryption with PKI, but I would just get a formal response and would like to know if Adobe Reader Mobile will support it.

    Thank you!

    Masaya

    Unfortunately, it is still not supported on mobile versions of Adobe Acrobat DC.

    Thank you.

  • Is it possible to limit Adobe Revel to synchronize only on Wi - Fi for iOS devices?

    Hello

    Is it possible to limit Adobe Revel to synchronize only on Wi - Fi for iOS devices?

    I don't want to exceed my monthly data quota. I can't find an option for this in the settings.

    Thank you

    There is not currently a framework for this. I suggest to disable the automatic import feature if the quota of data is a problem and that you have defined to 'on '. You can reactivate when you use wifi if you care to use it. I will introduce this management feature products for review. Thanks for your comments.

  • Why Adobe stopped support in Air for iOS?

    Adobe said today that it stop developing for iOS.

    That is to say that it will NOT update LOOK for more recent iOS iOS (as iOS 5).

    I paid a lot of money for the license of Flash and member of the AppStore!

    What could do now?

    What we talked about today is the development of Flash Player for mobile browsers, which will end after the next version is released. iOS is not affected by this, because the Flash does not work in Safari on iOS in any case.

    Adobe spoke of how they were going to do more with mobile AIR apps, so if something ads today is good news for AIR for iOS.

  • Question on export for iOS/App Store

    I tried to follow all the instructions (http://developer.apple.com/ios/manage/distribution/index.action) correctly, but they were written for XCode and not Adobe. I looked on the Adobe site, but I can't find any information or documentation telling me what I'm doing wrong.

    I use Flash CS 5.5 and AIR 2.7.

    In iTunes Connect under Provisioning-> Distribution I created a new Distribution Provisioning profile. This I opened in the AIR for iOS Settings-> deployment-> Provisioning profile. Bundle IDS match.

    In iTunes Connect under Certificates-> I've created a new certificate of Distribution Distribution. What I installed using Keychain Access.

    In Flash, I continued using the same developer certificate (.p12 file) I had used to test my app on my device.

    I downloaded and used trousseau to install the intermediate certificate WWDR.

    Flash-> AIR for iOS Settings-> deployment-> iOS deployment type, I chose "deployment - Apple App Store"

    I compiled the app and tried to download using the Application Loader. He gave me the following error message:

    "Application has no codesign verification. The signature was invalid, or it was not signed with a certificate of presentation of Apple. »

    All my certificates are up to date and valid and were installed without duplicates.

    Any ideas? I don't know what else I'm supposed to do or where else to turn for answers.

    Thank you!

    That sounds right. You must export it, including the private key, use in a .p12 file with Flash CS.

  • Adobe Air for iOS - SQLError: ' #3115 error ' no such table ".

    I'm developing Adobe Air application for iOS with sqlite on that. When running on my local machine, it worked like charm (add, edit and delete). Unfortunately, when tried to run on the iPAD, it gives me the following error:

    SQLError: Details ' Error #3115',:' no such table: ' tblEmploye ", operation: 'run', detailID:"2013".

    Here is my code when opening the sqlite database: * data is saved to the directory of the current application where all the files are stored:

            exampleDBFile = File.documentsDirectory.resolvePath("mydb.db");

            if (exampleDBFile==null || !exampleDBFile.exists) {
                MovieClip(root).mcSong.visible = false;
                MovieClip(root).mcAlert.visible = true;
                MovieClip(root).mcAlert.enabled = true;
                MovieClip(root).mcAlert.txtErrorMessage.text = "Database not found";
            }
            exampleDB = new SQLConnection();

            exampleDB.addEventListener(SQLEvent.OPEN, onExampleDBOpened);
            exampleDB.addEventListener(SQLErrorEvent.ERROR, onExampleDBError);

            //exampleDB.openAsync(exampleDBFile);
            exampleDB.open(exampleDBFile);

    I also tried to use the following but still no luck

    exampleDBFile = File.applicationDirectory.resolvePath("mydb.db");

    using this, I get a different error: Error: Error #3104

    And here is the code for adding new entries

            sqlInsert = "insert into tblLyrics (empName, empDesc) values
                        ('"+ strReplace(txtSearchMe.text, "'", "") + "','"+ strReplace(txtContent.text,"'","") +"')";
            dbStatement.text = sqlInsert;
            dbStatement.addEventListener(SQLEvent.RESULT, onDBStatementInsertResult);
            dbStatement.execute();

    Hoping for your advice...

    Hello

    @uxavenue

    to add something to the post of samia:

    -on iOS your application directory is in 'read only' (at least when using native application)-so resources in the application directory (in the terminology of the Air - not iOS SDK SDK) may not be changed/written/updated

    -you could ship already created database sqlite with your application files, but must be copied to the writable to the application directory - for example documents. This directory is accessible via:

    File.documentsDirectory

    -When your application starts, you could do more:

    (1) build the path to the path of database documents

    (2) check if the database in this path exists (if this file exists)

    (3) if the file does not exist yet either copy in this path of the resource directory of the application (where you consolidate during the generation of project) OR create the new empty database using all these CREATE table and then INSERT statements required to create the new new copy of database

    (4) on each next start so check if the file exists at #2 jump creation/copy of database and simply start using it.

    Kind regards

    Peter

  • Worx mobile app for iOS - mdx file Acrobat Reader

    Hi all

    In our firm, we use Citrix XenMobile. Adobe already provides support for Android devices, but since we mainly use iOS devices, we would be very happy on a file Acrobat Reader mdx for iOS. Are there plans?

    Hello

    As far as I know, the Acrobat Reader (for Android, iOS, Windows Phone) mobile products do not understand any special support for mdx files.   Please note that each mobile operating system has different limitations and restrictions.

  • File.upload ActionScript does not work on Air SDK for iOS devices

    I try to use the ActionScript File.upload to transfer a file on Air SDK for iOS environment, but the File.upload does not work properly. No event on the file upload handler is executed after File.upload is called, and no exception is caught. When I check the side network traffic server, I found no application http even didn't hit the server after execution of File.upload. The code is below.

    When it is run on the simulator of the Air, it works very well as expectedand the file is successfully downloaded to the server. But when run on iOS devices (in my case, iPad), as I explained at the beginning, no event on the file upload handler is executed and not the http request has even hit the server. So I think that the problem may come from the client side.

    During my attempt to solve the problem, I found something complicated about this problem on iOS7. In other words, if you call the URLLoader.load method (although the URLLoader.load points to an address non-existed) before calling the File.upload method, the File.upload will work as expected on iOS7. Specifically, when the above OnTrickyButtonPressed method is run before the OnUploadButtonPressedmethod, File.upload will succeed on iOS7. But this only happens on iOS7. On iOS8, File.upload still refuses to work, regardless of knowing if the URLLoader.load is executed before.

    I think in my case, the problem is not the problem of sandbox or a session of Firefox problem described in the two links below, because not even a http request hit the side server. It seems that the Air SDK for iOS comes to fail send the http reason request any.

    http://StackOverflow.com/questions/5967382/Flex-4-FileReference-issues-with-Firefox

    http://StackOverflow.com/questions/351258/how-do-i-make-Flex-file-upload-work-on-Firefox-a nd-safari

    To make my problem clear, I list my environment below:

    • Development environment: Windows7 (64-bit) / Mac os 10.9.4 (tested on both OS platforms.)
    • IDE: Flash Builder 4.7
    • Air SDK: 3.8 / 16.0.0 (after that I have updated to the latest Air SDK 16.0.0, problem persists.)
    • Application server: Tomcat7 + spring

    Finally, I want to mention that download the file using URLLoader.load isn't an option in my case because I want to download large files in the future, which cannot be addressed with the URLLoader.load.

    I struggled with this for days. If I really appreciate it if anyone has an idea about this.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi KA RYU.

    We have reproduced the issue successfully, our team would work on it.
