  Remember that only you can create an iPad app using your simple editing solution (which is included in your subscription CC). So you need a Pro or business of DPS version to be able to create a Android version.

  Any word on Adobe Story Chromebook or Android support? What I understand ChromeOS is not much more than a browser HTML5? I want to get one of the new time 8 Haswell powered laptops Chromebook this holiday season under $ 300. I can understand that delaying the Adobe Story ChromeOS development as it is still very small, but Android? There are over 1.5 million Android activations daily. It's more than the entire population of the Canada each month :)... difficult to understand turning a blind eye to these much longer numbers.

  UPDATE the web version of Adobe Story works perfectly on Chromebook, ACER 2848 C720 with 2GBs of RAM $ 199.99 Amazon. Don't forget to disable Chrome extensions you may have installed that turn off the Flash, for example Flash Block. Also double click on the project is not open, instead click the small swirl on the triangle next to the project name and select open from the menu. • Different content for iOS and Android?

  We have an app for android and iOS and we´re using an adobe account to download the folio on both platforms. Now, we want to offer an android version and a version of ios of our content. Shouldn´t android version appear in the ios app and vice versa.

  If you publish your folios with two sizes of canvas, but with the same name and same publication id it will work.

  example: iPad 1024 x 768 and android 1205 x 725

  in folio Builder name them the two 'January 2013"and the same ID for example:"[email protected]"or something else.

  as there are many different sizes for android devices its a little difficult to get them all to use the right choice. 1205 x 725 is a compromise that should work on most of the Androids.

  Did you never properly installed an older version (not the latest version) of the Adobe Reader software for iOS on iPod Touch using your ID before Apple?  If you have never installed Adobe Reader using the particular Apple ID, he can explain why you get the dialog box with the OK button (i.e. no download button).

  Here's what you can do to experience.  (I don't know if it would work.  "But it's worth a try).

  1. On your iPod Touch, check the Apple ID you use for the App Store (settings > iTunes & App Store).
  2. On your computer, Windows or Mac, open iTunes.
  3. Connect to iTunes using the same Apple ID you use for your iPod Touch.
  4. Find Adobe Reader and download it to your computer.  Do not try to install it on your iPod Touch because the latest version is not compatible with your iPod Touch in any case.  Now, Adobe Reader is associated with your Apple ID.  It is important step to be able to download a compatible version on your iPod Touch more later.
  5. Return to your iPod Touch and repeat the steps described in my answer #1.

  Looks like you already tried iTunes on your computer.  Please go back to your iPod Touch and try to install Adobe Reader using the same Apple ID again.

  When to create a version of a DPS iPad app Android the account used to create the content (the 'title ID' in the DPS application Builder) are the same for both versions, or different?   It depends, but generally the answer is that you want to use a different account for iOS and Android. Not all features are supported in iOS viewer supported in Android Viewer. For example, if you use panoramas and specific views web iOS in your articles, you'll want to be able to use a different content for viewers of Android. Search for "dps supported features" for a comparative table.

  I use different Application accounts for my applications. I use the feature of sharing/copy to transfer the folios of the account iOS on behalf of Android (or Windows). Then I remove the few items that don't work well in the viewer and replace them with items generated from the different source files. Which works well and does not require much additional effort.

  If you want to reduce the amount of black strips the viewer of Android, you might want to use different accounts and use, for example, 1280 x 800 sheets instead of 1024 x 768.

• Separating the iOS and Android product ID

  We have created a number of our applications years there in the iOS only before considering Android. Some of our bundle ID capital letters - com.publisher.MAGAZINE etc, so our product ID is structured as: com.publisher.MAGAZINE.issuenumber for individual questions.

  When we launched on Android, we discovered that they do not TRAFFIC in their product ID so we have a slightly different structure: com.publisher.magazine.issuenumber. This has been an inconvenience, but not a problem because separate us our content Android and iOS, through different Adobe ID and can therefore provide a different product for each question ID.

  The ability to assign several product ID to a unique collection is our future roadmap. This would allow the two 'caps' and 'tiny' ID to be assigned to the same collection and honored of product based on the device platform where the user engaged with the content.
