  Earlier this week, I got a virus.  That was resolved, however, my printer did not work properly, so I tried to update the driver hoping that would solve the problem.  I could not install the driver, even after spending most of the day chatting with hp support.  I got following messages is displayed:

• Scaling of object doesn't seem to work properly with objects that contain Bézier curves

  I created a closed object which had a Bezier curve as part of its definition. I wanted to scale of 110% and then to use this second object expanded to create a sort of background under the first object to create a sort of a shadow effect. But rather that the second purpose being uniformly superior to the first intersection with the original object in a way that does not make sense to me.

  Is there a more easy/different way to create an effect like that? I can do but have to manually adjust a large number of points in the new object so that they create a uniformly larger version of the original object, but it's a lot of effort for something that works very well for regular polygons with straight lines (for example, a star with 5 points).

  Thanks for any suggestions or ideas.

  PS - I've attached a picture of what I get with this technique to create two examples of two objects, one a 110% of the other version. The first star shows the effect I'm trying to get, and the second shows the problem (the red border around not the black object evenly around the perimeter)

  On Vista, Windows DVD Maker requires that you have Windows Vista Home Premium or Windows Vista Ultimate Edition.  If you have one of these versions, you should already have Windows DVD Maker and Windows Movie Maker 6.0.  These versions of Windows Vista are required to have copies under license from MPEG-2 to make a video DVD.

  I was not aware of a separate installer for Windows DVD Maker, so I suspect you look at something of a 3rd site part. If it is a Microsoft site, can provide you the address you use?

  'Go slide' will automatically play the slide, you have defined for a particular, when slide that slide the ends. If you have defined by user Yes option, then at the end of the slide, you must click on play to the slide that you have set to "go to the slide.

  The previous buttons and following which are to the right of the button "play" have no role in, they will get you front/rear as usual.

  Sorry everyone. I'm afraid that the culprit was myself. I expected a menu pop up and did not notice that the icon has been change to reflect the State.

  Therefore, the button works very well - it was my brain and eyes (I didn't put my glasses on!) which were defective.

  Have you checked the settings of the external microphone?

  Go to the Control Panel-> audio devices & audio and on the Volume tab, click the Advanced button.

  Then a new window should appear and you could see different volume controllers.

  Please check if mute was not activated in micro controller

  Hello. My EOS 1Ds Mk II has a problem. The rear dial doesn't seem to work, that he will never change any setting in shooting mode.   I agree.  Send it to Canon service.  I think that they continue to work on the 1Ds Mk II, but not the 1 d Mk II.
