  • I can't uninstall a program called Uniblue Registry Booster

As I was not able to uninstall this program in the Control Panel, I got errors on my PC. One thing was on python.dll? I can't chat live with Norton either.

This Uniblue program is proven to spoil my PC. He deleted all my files, and when the error came at the beginning was Uniblue inside. I used all the tools and all I could think about. Thanks for your advice, and I've read a few articles where others had the same problems, but there were arguments? So I guess the better to be safe than sorry! TY has done restoring to the factory and just ran one of my 5 to backup discs.

Uniblue Registry Booster found 380 would have problems - why WINDOWS can't find them?

Ignore what you said Uniblue Registry Booster and get rid of it. It and all similar programs, are useless at best and often very dangerous to use.

Registry cleaning programs are * all * snake oil. The registry cleaning is not necessary and dangerous. Let alone register and do not use any registry cleaner. Despite what many people think, and what software record cleaning providers are trying to you convince to have used the registry entries is not really make you hurt.

The risk of a serious problem caused by a registry cleaner by mistake delete an entry you need is much greater than any potential benefit it may have.

Let me stress that neither me nor anyone else who warns against the use of registry cleaners has never said that they always cause problems. If they have always caused problems, they would disappear from the market almost immediately. Many people have used a registry cleaner and never had a problem with it.

The problem with a registry cleaner is that it carries with it the essential * risk * to have a problem. And since there is no advantage to using a registry cleaner, running the risk is a very bad deal.

  • get rid of the Uniblue registry

A few days ago, I was downloading the last update to the Adaware program installed on this computer.  At the opening of the cnet page there was an offer for a free analysis of Uniblue Registry Booster to find conflicts in Windows.  I clicked on that and installed the program which ultimately requested money for the supposed conflicts found.  When I tried to remove the program, a window opens which says that permission to do.  This looks like a legitimate Windows message.  What should I do to get rid of Uniblue?  I'm sick of getting Uniblue opening at startup window!

What should I do to get rid of Uniblue?

You don't mention what version of Windows you use, then here are some instructions for Windows 7.

To remove Uniblue, first stop the process. Right-click on an empty area of the taskbar, and then select Start Task Manager. On the property page of the process (ex.: tab) find registrybooster.exe in the list and select it. Click the end process button in the lower left corner and confirm the operation.

Click Start or press the Windows key and type or coller, paste in %PROGRAMFILES%\Uniblue , then press on . This should open the Uniblue program directory. Locate the uninstall program and right click and select run as administrator. The steps and restart the computer when it is done.

  • How legitimate is Registry Booster 2010 and it is useful to have?

I have started to download Registry Booster 2010 but had cold feet and am inquiring the veracity and usefulness of my computer.

Do not buy or use ANY booster registry, fixer, optimizer, enhancer, repairman or something like that what it might be called.  Most do cause little or anything of any value, some contain malware that spreads in your system and many very difficult - even to the point where the only option is to reinstall Vista.  Vista doesn't have such a program.  It does a great job managing the registry on its own.  If you evaluate your system and your registry database, you use any of these products no matter what they say or what could reveal their free analyses (which should also be avoided) - as there are 6000 registry errors that need fixing and their product can solve the problems.  It's just marketing hype and something to make you download and install or buy the product.

I hope this helps and that you take this advice, so we don't see here later with a problem in using one of these products.

    Good luck!

  • How to remove my Start menu registry booster when I deleted the program.

Boost Regostry downloaded and then deleted, piriform chose instead, because of the cost. ! It is still in my Start menu, were not able to remove when well even I have deleted hundreds of times.  He continues to appear at the beginning of the signature to the computor and a span.

How does this relate to the features of Windows Update?

You Uninstall the app, or simply "delete"? A you have bought the application?

You have backups of ANY changes that you made using the component to the CCleaner registry integrity?

  • Which is the method approved by Microsoft to /Public directory?

I have Vista Home Premium 32.

My 400GO C: drive is quickly filled, thanks mainly to an increase in the number of photos in /Public.  I would spend my/public folder during a new 1 TB internal drive that I just installed.  I've seen a number of solutions on how to do it.  Vista apparently has a function called mklink, and I saw that I can't piecemeal remapping of the public/parties by making changes in the registry of indications.  Before taking the risk of losing a ton of pictures of my kids, I wonder if one of these solutions (or maybe another that I have not seen) is the one who would be officially approved or proposed by Microsoft.

I'm really surprised that this kind of thing is not easy.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

When you say ' / Public ', I assume you mean the "C:\Users\Public" folder, which contains records of public documents, etc. photos.  Is this fair?

There is no reason to use methods risky as "mklink" or registry changes.  To learn how to move a public folder, click on Start > Help and Support and search for the topic to redirect a folder to a new location in .

Before you move all files on the new drive, I invite you to do a backup/backup copy of the files you want to move.  Get an external drive that is large enough to contain the files and copy (not move) the files on the external drive.  Who will protect them against losses if something goes wrong during the move to the new internal drive, or if the new internal drive fails later.

After having checked that the external hard drive has copies of the files, move the files using the method described above.

  • Failure of a file registry - A32 Satellite running on Microsoft Windows XP

Hello, can someone help with this you problem?

I have a Satellite phone for 7 years that is running Microsoft Windows XP.

When I tried to turn on the system today, Windows is not started as usual, but instead, I got a blue screen with the following error message:-

    * STOP: c0000218 (registry file failure *)
    * Registry cannot locate the hive (file): \systemroot\system32\config\SOFTWARE*
    * It is corrupt, the advent or not writable *.

How can I fix this please? The computer does not at all, even in safe mode. He previously worked very well. I've never experienced anything like this before.

    Thank you

    Hello

In your case I'd take a Win XP disk and would try to reinstall the system.
Still is it that you are not able to boot into normal mode and safe mode so I put t see another solution for you.
Of course, the blue screen of death could be related to a hardware problem (HARD drive problem) and in this case the installation of the system not fix your problem. Then this would require the new survey
