As you mention oracle suggests using different user for grid, asm, etc. Thatsgood path if you have only 1 db. But for me its coz not usable, I have to manage more than 300 db if it is difficult to give the user DIF. for each facility, it makes my job more complex. I hope I can show you my index

  • Something different about the API in a developer vs Production Eloqua?

I just created a developer Eloqua (with Technology Partner Program of the Eloqua) account and went to connect my application to this developer account through the API.  I can enter my login details, but then I don't see any of my lists of contacts or data of this developer account cards.  I previously worked with Eloqua production accounts and could connect and find lists of contacts and maps of data without problem.  Now, with the developer account I can connect but don't see any contact lists or data cards.  I confirmed that my developer account user has the API security group, and that my lists of contacts and data cards have access read/write for my user.

Is there something different about the API in a developer account?  I must say Eloqua to activate the API for this account, or is the different API endpoint?

    Thank you

    Scott

    Hi Scott,.

Could check you if the permissions of security group for the Security API Group provide access to maps data & Contact lists? I do not have access to an instance of dev, but this is the first place where I'd look.

    And the second question:

How to store the value of the field 'ID' in table 'ADM_USERS' in any table with the 'IDUSER' with objects of entity created in application scope?

    Concerning

securityContext.userName returns the value of the 'U_NAME '.
How can I get more information about the user logged as NAME, first NAME, ID?

    You can not.

    You need to query DB.

How to store the value of the field 'ID' in table 'ADM_USERS' in any table with the 'IDUSER' with objects of entity created in application scope?

Record this value in UserData structure so it will be available in the model. http://andrejusb.blogspot.com/2012/05/solution-for-sharing-global-user-data.html

Then use as default expression for your objects of entity attributes (something like: adf.userSession.userData.yourUserDataVar).

  • Looking for Admin settings and preferably the user to install new 8.3 Primavera

    Hi all

This is my first foray in MOSC (unless I forgot a precedent... )

Our current P6 8.3 was born of several years of updates/upgrades since the time of P3.  We found the opportunity to meet our preferences user and admin and it made us want to compare our user preference settings and current Admin what would a stock "out of the box" installation  It is my understanding that industry in the Administrator's preferences is the only setting of Admin preference must be entered by an Admin after an upgrade or new installation, so that seems to say that all other parameters some determined in advance by default.  The user guide tells me how to set all the preferences, but does not say what they would be if you did not specify your own settings.

I searched the Primavera ORACLE support stuff and found a user guide for an earlier version (6.something maybe?) that showed a few pictures of some of the tabs preferences screen, but the current version of the user guide only includes the steps to change the settings.

    Suggestions?

    Thank you

    Doug Bunch

Well that this article was written as a solution to the different types of corruption in P6, the result will be 'default' for the user, the user preference settings you specify here :

    Update userdata set user_data = null where Field_Name = "pm_settings" and user_id in (select user_id from user where user_name = '');

  • Question about the shared_pool sizes in Oracle 11 GR 2

Hello! I administer a 11 GR 2 Oracle database which runs on IBM, OS AIX 6.1 hardware. The LPAR has 44 Gb of available memory and 8 assigned dual-core processors.

Normally, everything works fine and we have no problems. Today the database started to reject connections all of a sudden. The issue lasted about 14 minutes and then allowed himself. When you check the alerts log, it indicates a memory problem with the shared_pool, ORA-4031 error out.

I am using the 11g automatic memory management functionality, and memory_max_target has the value 14 GB. I'll increase memory_max_target of 18 GB as part of my solution, but which will also increase so the shared_pool size in the SGA? It is best to leave the database to manage the size of the shared_pool, or may (and it) I put it at a minimum size?

Any help or links to documentation or MOS notes, are greatly appreciated. Thank you!

    Mark

Before suggesting that you change your memory in use management, I would like more information such as how long have your summer working with the system in this way?  How long had the system works since his last start?

If you have access to AWR AWR report for the period of the problem shows?  Any unusual activity?  Were all the new features or major transformation recently added to the application.

When you view the memory management view the frequency with which Oracle moves PGA to SGA granules, since the buffers to the pool shared cache and so on.

The next note of support can help try to determine what issues you face in what concerns the ORA-04031 providing the problem occurs again.

  • to find the point where the user had fallen oracle

    Hi Experts,
I have the request of my Auditor that it will be possible to find the time when the oracle user has been abandoned.

    Vesrion oracle 10g, 11g

We can find it through the audit trail, or there is some dynamic combined opinions that maintains this information.

Or other wise, that we create some manually trigger to enter the time, in the affirmative, please provide the details of the same

A quick response will be useful...

So the answer is action = 53 in dba_audit_trail for user to drop and user specific just add like operator with column sql_text. means, scott user droped the user test on April 30, 12.

If you want to know the meaning of the action column of the dba_audit_trail then see link below:

  • Questions about the changes in MRI Oracle 11 g

    Hello

I'm still testing MRI Oracle 11g and I saw some features in this version which worked in MRI of Oracle 10g.

One of my questions is on code article. In 10g, when a context manager assigned the role of "Reading Point" to a user, he could write the code of the element of the element that the user with this role could read. However 11g the context manager must have the document in its own computer in order to assign the user to drive element. Same thing happens when a user choose a document to generate a report, or a context Manager wish to exclude a document from a context. Is it possible to do this action using article code as in the previous version of MRI?

The second question is on the export of reports. In the previous version of IRM, you can export a report to a .csv file. Is it possible to do it in 11g? I have not seen this option in the Management Console and I don't know if there is a way to do that, as in the previous version.

    Thank you.

You're right that that changed in 11g. The context Manager now has access to a copy of the document he wants to assign the context on an exceptional basis point in a role, or run a report.
Users of 10g found bearing on the very complicated item codes, so we've simplified the user interface in 11g.

Audit MRI data export is now only available via Web Service requests. We expect most of the organizations to extract the IRM server audit data and make it available in their business intelligence, information system. In the future releases we plan to integrate closely with Oracle Business Intelligence exactly this effect; but we will not be duplicate the functionality in the IRM server.

I hope this helps explain why we made the changes. Thank you
