Best CPU Upgrade for s5202uk

Hello

I've recently updated my graphics card in my HP S5202UK-M and I was wondering what is the best processor that will work in this PC, the motherboard is a Pegatron M2N78 - THE narrated 6 with bios version 5.22 I think it is the most recent, a link if it is not up-to-date, I read somewhere online the last bios update adds support for the AMD Phenom X 6, I was wondering if that was the case in the plug from motherboard site just says HP Phenom X 4 supported

Hello

AMD sockets usually have very good compatibility.

Know what the return policy is before you buy anything.  If the six main does not work, then you can get a refund?  If you cannot get a refund then can you exchange it for another model? A model of Exchange would be satisfactory to your needs?

What would I do?  I'd go for it, but then my wallet could be deeper than yours.

As a general rule, her upgrade CPU what whether it is compatible with the motherboard will NOT give you a lot of performance. The GT 620 is a low range GPU and there are a lot more mature. Check the video card review sites for options. You will also receive additional RAM if it is not already overexploited, usually more than a costly upgrade of CPU.

Is there an available CPU I can use an upgrade for a Presario SR1110NX? It currently has a Celeron processor (I don't know what type of socket). Which will support your card mother MS-6577 (Giovani, Giovani2).

Here is a link to NewEgg for a card mother microATX replacement. You will need to buy the DDR2 memory, but it's pretty inexpensive. All of your devices will work in this one. You need to replace the power supply. The diagram of the motherboard is not marked ATX is an owner of COMPAQ connector configuration. What can improve my current AMD V140 to?

    Hello

The following link shows the specifications of your computer:

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c02542735

Not much you can do with the following list

But if you want, please use the page 75 the following manual shows you how to replace the CPU on your machine:

    http://h10032.www1.HP.com/CTG/manual/c02657369.PDF

My suggestion: don't waste money to upgrade, save more money to buy the new machine. Now your machine is a bit old and new machines are much cheaper than 5 or 6 years before.

  • Pavilion Media Center a1640n: options of CPU upgrade for an old HP Pavilion Media Center a1640n...

Hi all.  I've been cleaning and updating my granddaughter desktop PC.  This model used by an Asus P5BW - rev 1.05 MB (HP/Compaq name: Buckeye-GL8E), a processor Intel E6300 4x1Go RAM PC2-6400 and runs a 10 Pro 64-bit Windows installation.

I thought I would upgrade the CPU while I was there and bought an E6700 opportunity that is part of the Intel same product range with plug, with the exception of the higher clock speed.  On these two circuits rated FSB is 1066 and documentations of HP wrote this should work: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c00748726

However - there is always a but isn't there - the E6700 does not start in the BIOS.  No beep codes or any other indication, just never reveals the splash screen.  I have reset the CMOS, tried more fast RAM RAM slower but none of these things makes no difference.  I checked to see if there was a BIOS later / updated but it seems that it was never a product, v3.17, and this is what is currently installed.

Does anyone know if there are some technical limitations - like model of processor being hard coded in the BIOS or something like that--that it prevents the work or have I bought probably a bad cpu chip?

Thanks in advance for your help.

    Howard

    Resmond, WA

    Greetings,

The processor should work as the specs are the same.

When you reinstall the E6300 it starts fine but the E6700 is DOA.

Looks like a bad chip. The only way to check is to install the E6700 in a different motherboard.

    See you soon!

  • CPU upgrade for HP Dv7-6179us?

I did a video on my laptop and quickly noticed that my current system could not follow the program I run (Cyberlink Powerdirector 11). I already ordered a new 16gig RAM again and I was wondering what I can do to upgrade my CPU... Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated thanks!

Yes of course. However, it may require a fresh install of Windows on the new SSD. Origin of the hard disks on computers laptops HP are larger that the SSDS and a factory reset can end with a lot of mistakes because the ssd is not large enough to manage the restoration to the original state. A new facility has always worked for me with the key of portable computer product at the bottom of the unit. The only thing I had to do was uncheck activate online because it must be done after you get the activation message (by phone is ok) a few days later.

  • Absolutely the best possible upgrade for a Dell Dimension C521 graphics card?

I've been upgraded to a Dell Dimension C521, that I use as a general computer and play games.

I know that he will never play in recent games, although with the x 1300 pro that was in it when I got it I have successfully played 2 games or 3 years and more. Runs of Prince of Persia: the forgotten sands, Batman: Arkham Asylum and Darksiders without any problem (all parameters lowish and resolution 800 x 600).

Since I got it I upgraded the CPU to an AMD Athlon 64 x 2 5600 + (Windsor) and the RAM from 2 GB to 4 GB, which has cost me about £25.

I really want to update the graphics card to something better than the Radeon x 1300 Pro that I have atm. I am aware that the PSU is only 280W and I need a map of low profile for this machine, although I read Dell generally insufficiently misses their PSUS in any case. All the posts I can find here and elsewhere online seem to be old enough and I wanted to make sure that I had discovered so far had not become outdated.

So far, I found that the recommended card is the Radeon HD 6570.

Can anyone suggest something better? If not, can anyone suggest what specific version of the 6570 to get (Sapphire, Asus etc.) and the amount of memory to get with it?

    Thanks in advance.

    Can anyone suggest something better?

XFX R7 240 Low Profile Ready

30 watts TDP, against 54 watts TDP for the 6570. Faster, too.

A version of the R7 240 GDDR5 will be even faster, but more money, as well.

  • CPU Upgrade for Optiplex 755 - Core 2 Quad?

    Hey guys!

I have a Dell Optiplex 755 desktop computer. It's a SFF, and I picked up the recycling room in my office. It just need a HD fan, and it runs great. He got a Core 2 vPro 3.0 ghz in there at the moment, 4 MB of cache and FSB 1333.

It works well, but I would like to upgrade to a slightly faster processor and I am considering my options. I watched the fastest Core 2 Duo, I couldn't, and they offer only a 3.33 ghz, however, it's something like $350 dollars for the processor.

I started thinking maybe I should see what there is and realized that there is also the Core 2 Quad and the Extreeme of 2 Core that are available with one cache of FSB 1333 mhz, and PGA775 (or other).

I'm curious, but you guys don't know if it is possible to install a Core 2 Quad or a Core 2 Extreme in my Dell Optiplex 755? This PDF shows on Page 10 to take a Core 2 Quad. http://www.Dell.com/downloads/global/products/Optix/en/opti_755_techspecs.PDF

  • Ivy Bridge CPU Upgrade for Inspiron 620

As stated above, I have a 620 Inspiron with a Core i3 2120 which is a Sandy Bridge processor. I have the opportunity to get a Core i5 3570 for a very good price, which is a processor Ivy Bridge, but the word is that the Ivy Bridge processors can be used in some of the Sandy Bridge motherboards with a BIOS update. According to my system in the Device Manager devices, I have the drivers for chipset H61. However, I can't have an answer directly from anyone or not an Ivy Bridge CPU will work in my computer. I thought that maybe someone from Dell could help me this clear up because I'm not sure I can return the CPU as soon as I remove it from the box. It would be a fairly expensive mistake. Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

I don't think that it will be possible, because Dell does not have a BIOS for your specific model supporting Ivy Bridge. They may have sold a 620 with Ivy Bridge, however the more specific model number will be different, and they contain different parts and require different BIOS. For example on the number of specific model, the original Dell Inspiron 15 7000 series had a model number of 7537, the new 15 Inspiron 7000 (same model) series has a model number of 7547 (different specific model number)

  • CPU upgrade for dc7700 C2D 6300 to Pentium D 3.2 XE?

Hello everyone, I recently bought a HP/Compaq dc7700 SFF with a processor intel Core 2 Duo E6300 1.86 GHz. I have a spare Intel Pentium D 940 Extreme Edition @ 3.20 GHz and I wonder if there is much exchange gain it in. The OS is win7 64 bit, 8 GB RAM. the two procs are LGA775 socket.

    Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the replies. In the search further, it seems that the C2D E6300 offer performance equal to the old Pentium D 3.2 with less electricity and heat consumption, so I'll leave it as what.

    Thanks again.

  • Classified into CPU upgrade PowerEdge T320 - I was wondering if I need thermal paste for the heatsink that came with it

Subject pretty much said it all.

We received a CPU upgrade for our PowerEdge T320. The new processor comes with a new heat sink, and it seems that there is a thermal buffer of paste on the lower part of the radiator.

I wonder if anyone knows if I need to or recommend that I put the extra thermal paste on the chip before mounting the radiator.

    Hello.

The quantity of thermal paste comes with your CPU should be enough for the CPU holding it in place.
