Best effect/setting to reduce the background noise

I have a clip that has someone quickly grasp a phone that makes a little noise that I want to keep. However, the clip was shot with the microphone in camera and there is a stable level of "noise" in the background, either by the snoring of a laptop nearby, or just the mic's 'default' bad noise.

I tried to add different effects like Denoiser without noticing much difference, maybe that I don't use the right settings.

Is there a specific audio effect that I can add to a clip out of unwanted background noise level. It's not like there

people who speak or dishes that sounds, it's more like a constant buzzing background or whatever.

Your best option would be to Soundbooth or Audition.

Watch these tutorials and download one of the trialversion.

  • How can I reduce the background noise in the audio?

I just downloaded the trial verson, and the need to change audio in my video to remove background noise.  Can I do this in Premiere Elements?  If this isn't the case, I can do using Adobe Audition?  I already have a license for it.

This article will give you some tips to remove some background noise: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/572518?tstart=30

Now, a large part of the success will depend on the exact frequency you need to eliminate or mitigate, and the frequencies of the Audio you want to keep.

Regarding the programs to do the job, several are mentioned in the article, but if you have Adobe Audition, there a noise reduction preset, it is very effective, with a background noise.

My files open to 176% zoom, is there any setting to reduce the size, so I do not reduce to 100% every time?

No, all the tools for the cleaning of the background noise of an audio file are built hearing. You need only Premiere Pro if you edit video files.

  • Satellite C660 - 1 HL: how to reduce the fan noise?

After buying the C660 (1 HL) I'm especially glad of his duties - if it was the bad noise it emits.

I use laptops for 12 years, but this one is really annoying with every minute repeated with penetration hum of a fan, even if the laptop is in sleep mode.

I compared with a C650, who is often quiet and his fan, if being run, does not cause that kind of noise.
So far I found any kind of control for the fan, no driver or powermanagement setting, that I had before for example with a Satellite M70.

I always thought, technological development will bring improvements, but not the trouble of this kind.

Thanks for the tips of any solution

  • How do you reapply the background noise that you have deleted after having saved and exported a file in Adobe Audition

    Hello

I recently applied effects to a dossier of a cleaner noise adaptive and saved and exported the file as a .wav and MP3. Now I want to apply again the noise or, basically, to remove the effects that I applied. However, when I go to eliminate effects by going into the tab at the top right of the effects rack option to remove the effects is not highlighted and does not allow me to select.

Does anyone know why this is? (A friend who uses Avid says he can reverse the removal of background noise) And, is there a way I can apply again the noise / remove the effect I applied?

    Thank you!

    Holly

You can only cancel the Adaptive NR if you used in Multi-track mode, and you have the recorded session. You will need to go back to the original session and it cancel. But if you have, then the original file you used will always be intact anyway, like Multi-track is non-destructive.

But if you did the NR in waveform mode to your original file and saved, well, then I'm afraid you're completely stuffed - save the file displays the result to him, and there is no possible "undo" mechanism, such as which relies on temporary files of the whole thing being recorded, and if you did with all that you would end up with a completely full hard drive without delay. That is why, if that's all you are concerned at all, then you change a copy of it, rather than the original.

RE: How to make the background image to fit on the screen

Right-click on an open office space > Persona; IZE > at the bottom, click on wallpaper > down under the position of the image, click on the pointer, and then select FILL > click on save changes when finished.

PS, You could choose FIT instead of FILLING. Try both ways and see what is best for you.

  • Is there a way to stop the background noise by using an action?

I'm trying to get a sound effect loop to play throughout the project, but to end when a specific button is pushed. This would prevent then audio for the rest of the project. Any ideas?

You can run a background Audio loop in a project, but you can not then stop and start the audio via advanced Actions.

There are no native way in Captivate to control the sound in the background running.  If you have access to the expertise of programming, it might be possible, but I did not do.

  • After effects makes Preview in the background?

Depends on the version. Due to bugs in some versions it does not always, although usually should be.

  • Cut the background noise but keeping the narrative

    Hi people,

I know I can create an audio mute with Actions button but I can put up an act conditional that will cut only the background sound (music, for example) but keep the blade and the sound object play?

    See you soon

    Steve

You can not exclusively mute background music, but you can stop the background sound on a slide with a narrative (audio slide) or audio of the object.

  • [JDev12.1.2, ADF] af:table - why do setting AutoHeightRows reduce the width of the table?

    Hallo,

my table must have a height of 20 lines.

So I set AutoHeightRows = 20 but... when I run the application from the width of the table it is reduced by half, and the first fields are displayed.

    Where I'm wrong?

    Thank you

    Federico

After setting the AutoRowHight to 20 make the StyleClass "AFStretchWidth", and it will work.

Not sure if this is a bug or a feature.

  • When I edit a .wav file (noise reduction to remove the background hiss) and save them, the changes are not saved.

I just installed hearing and have edited a few audio voiceover to remove the background hiss.  When I save the changes and reopen the file, the hiss is back.  The changes are not saved.  Why is this happening?  How to record the sound of the effects of reduction in my .wav file?

These steps are not quite correct. You have two choices; either highlight a part of the background noise and use SHIFT + P, which captures your selection as a basis for NR or, open the Panel NR and use "Capture noise Print" from there, after making a selection first. After doing this, click on "select an entire file. What you definitely have to do is to use 'apply' at this point, and when use you it, just use it once.

When you capture using printed, the Preview 'play' button inside the plugin to check the settings and then stop it. When you are satisfied of what he done, then click on 'Apply' - but once. This will apply for all of your noise reduction. As long as you do not use "undo" at any time, the version Number will be be recorded on the original, or if you use "save under", then the original will be left alone, and a new noise-reduced version will be saved.

I already check the fan grille.
