  As I understand it, while it is possible to edit the text, images and links in the browser using mounting (FTP), it is not possible to add new content to an existing page. To this end, can anyone recommend the best way to allow a client to add content to a page? The content will be a snippet of text, an image and a link. Perhaps the blog powered by Tumbler or QooQuee blog? Or maybe there's a widget or a means to better?

  At the present stage, there is no such function in the Muse, only the available options to change text, images and links.

  Workaround use created BC site in Muse, but it would be a bit complex.

  I think I can summarize the conversation on this point as a response to the original question (what is the best way...) -to start writing code, to think about what you want to accomplish and write it down (otherwise known as 'Write the first Documentation').  One of the points of a good User Interface is that it is not allow users to "stupid mistakes" - it leads the user "by hand", limiting the entries to the "legal values" and demanding that the entries be made logically.

  If you were going to have a list of Infusions to enter, it is therefore logical to decide or not to enter into time intervals (which are always > 0) or order the times (which, logically) are still growing.  You can (and should) decide that you (or you may have a control that allows the user decide, but maybe it's too flexible) and then apply your "rules".

  Let's say you've decided on "Intervals" (which seems to me to be more User Friendly).  After the user has entered the intervals (and you've provided a nice plot of perfusion vs. time), pouvez allow you the user to an interval of 'split', 'Delete' an interval, or "Edit the Infusion" interval, or you can decide to have a choice more simple "accept or start again" - If you have only a few intervals, the last would be the simplest (and therefore best) design choice.

• Old profile will be migrated but I forgot to backup existing profile before you rename it. Best way to retrieve emails to the original profile that still exists as * .old?

  Of course, I left on stage backup or export, do not know that. In any case, won't make things worse so thought better to ask before proceeding. I've renamed existing "new but used" profile *.old and copied old profile in the same folder, giving the name of the profile 'new but used '. There are emails in the profile "new but used" I need to recover. What is the best way to proceed?

  OK, either copy all the files from the old to the new mbox and place them in local folders. do not copy * .msf files (they are just indexfiles and will be recreated)

  delete panacea.dat
  It will be re-created. (it contains a list of directories and files)

  or get an Add on ExportImportTools that can help you import an mbox.

  When they are in local folders you can move.

  Your user interface would handle this. If you use a machine to States (hint-hint) you would simply chose the State appropriate for your current configuration. You would provide a mechanism (UI, configuration file, argument of command line to name a few) for the parameter which mode to use, and the application would have chosen the appropriate action.

  Accommodation with Business Catalyst and feature Secure area are probably the easiest. But easier I don't mean easy. There will be a steep learning curve to learn how Business Catalyst works first.

  Unfortunately at this time Muse isn't really the tool to do what you need.

  Physically, you can't add content in a swf file that you go back and find what you have created still exists.  You need to store information related to these new content in external storage (cookie, database, xml file, etc.) and then use that information to reconstruct this content when you reopen the file.

  What is the best way to align text in Fireworks?  I tried to use the Alignment tab, but it does not work too good for me.  is there a better way to do it?

  To align text objects vertically to each other, try selecting them, and then selecting "Align top edge", with "from Web" off. (I don't know why, but "Center vertical alignment" and "align bottom" both seem to lead to imbalances.) Pretty weird behaviour, in fact). If this does not work, then try using leaders and guides, as described in my first answer.

  Spread text objects, try the first and the last objects ('Home' and 'Contact') regarding their positioning slices, and then select all text objects and choose "distribute horizontal center" to evenly space items remaining in-between (with 'to Web"off). If this does not work, then just eyeball it: use the arrows to adjust the level of each text object position until it looks centered.

  This is a perfect example of why Fireworks must support the selection of an object 'key '. If that were the case, I'll tell you to select each slice individually, and text object to choose the slice as a "key object" and then align horizontal and vertical centers. Unfortunately, this is not an option here.

  Seriously, however, please take the time to be accurate during the validation of future issues. If all goes well, I have given you a lot of ideas and leads on how to solve this problem.
