Beta - AIR 18.0.0.96 crash
I tried the latest beta (beta - AIR 18.0.0.96) and the iOS app crashed during launch. Traces show that the code began to
The app works very well in mode interpreter (air 18) or with the last air 17.
The tested devices are iphone ios7 and ipad ios8 times in 32 bits.
I can't get the log from console device (PC), but I can get the iphone device crash report.

iOS 8 beta - AIR apps requesting privileges of Notifications
At the launch of an application for the first time in version beta iOS 8, there is a warning to the user "< application name > would like to send you Notifications. These applications do not implement any feature I know. Is anyone else seeing this? This seems very familiar to the bug of Microphone privileges when iOS 7 has been released ().

Is the 'ActionScript 2.0 compiler"(mentioned in latest beta AIR 3.8 notes) for the AS2 code?
This page says:
"Compiler of ActionScript 2.0: the Actionscript 2.0 compiler has been incorporated in the AIR SDK 3.8 (named"AIR SDK 3.8 and compiler") and retired as a separate on Adobe Labs download, March 14, 2013."
I'm working on a project of Mobile AIR where we would be probably saved about 6 months of intensive work if some of our old AS2 code could be compiled and run in the AIR Mobile for iOS. So if there is actually a "ActionScript 2.0 compiler" AIR SDK 3.8, it would be fantastic to hear.
However, I suspect that this note has nothing to do with actually "compilation of ActionScript 2.0 code;" I suspect that this simply refers to version 2.0 of the compiler "ActionScript". (Which of course is the same as the old "Flex compiler". Which of course had nothing to do with the 'Flex' framework.)
Clarification would be appreciated!
No, the ActionScript 2.0 compiler is just the new version of the compiler. Adobe AIR is not at all compatible AS2. And because Adobe dropped AS2 support of Flash Pro, don't expect there to support all the AIR.

MacBook air crashes after the release of sleep since the upgrade of the sierra
Began to notice that since I upgraded my macbook air 2015 to sierra, system crashes. The trigger is always when I wake the sleep system (whether it is by opening cover or press a key). Issue is intermittent and may not be reproduced every time. I contacted apple support and they recommended resetting the SMC (ctrl + shift + cmd) but that didn't help either. I also did a check of filesystem (fsck-fy) and which seems to be very well so.
I noticed others seem to be faced with similar problems and a common theme that I noticed was that both we seem to have an installed tardisk. Not sure if this could be a factor?
While it is not any loss of data, the question is certainly annoying and disruptive to work.

FF was running fast and stable until the beta update tonight. Later he crashed several times, sometimes with a total system crash, sometimes with a system is unresponsive, sometimes with a video driver leading to a BSOD crash.
I had to DL 22 release and restore. I am now on the output channel, not the beta channel.
System Setup: Dell Latitude 6410, Win 7 x 64, 128 GB SSD, 4 GB of RAM, Intel video hardware. Everything is up-to-date.
Trying to get out before it blocks again and then switching to 22.
Java plugin is usually disabled.

Have been able to run > 4 hours stable release 22 without hardware acceleration and long-awaited performance. I identified that my Crucial necessary M4 SSD firmware updated because of a problem that causes the BSOD after 5000 operating hours. Since the firmware update has been applied, I was stable.
Firefox may have been a catalyst, not a culprit. I wonder if my BSOD troubles began because FF or FF, as Flash module, was trying to make the disk space which had been rendered difficult by my bad SSD firmware.
Will post again in 24 HR works normally on 22 and then try 23 update to see if it is resolved.

iPhone5 broken in the Air 15 & 16 Beta splash screens?
I tried out an update of the app, but have encountered the following problem.
The start screen on the iPhone5 running iOS8.1(12B411) does not load properly (other devices seem to have no problem).
On the previous version of Air I was using this good work (version 14 could have been, I can't remember).
The first splash half single screen appears on the screen. It is then rotated 90 degrees and stretched to fit the screen to incorrect rotation. Then loading normally.
It happened when I was compiling with '11/11/2014 - release - 15 AIR Runtime and SDK', if I've updated to "18/11/2014 - Beta - AIR 16.0.0.222 DURATION and SDK" with the new Flash Player 16 and I always meet the same problem. ""
I have not changed one of my images of startup screen/launch of the latest version of my app that I published for more than a year in September, 1013.
Everyone sees this problem. This is impacting on my ability to release a major update before Christmas in collaboration with marketing and promotional things that are timed to the release.

Why you are pointing to a particular SDK, rather than let the AIR to perform the build using the SDK, it includes?
You seem to be including a lot of splash screens that are not necessary, unless you have different versions of the screen for different orientations. These are most needed:

AIR 14 Beta - missing builtin type Object
I get the error message 'Missing builtin type Object' in Flash Builder after update to 14 beta AIR of projects which do NOT include AIR libraries.
Tried the usual own projects > re - open projects > restart Flash Builder without a little luck this time...
Download the "Flash Player beta 14 global swc ' to Download Adobe Flash Player 14 beta for desktop - Adobe Labs.
Then add it to the eclipse\plugins\com.adobe.flash.compiler_4.7.0.349722\AIRSDK\frameworks\libs\player\14.0

ADL crashing with AIR 3.1 overlay
Hello, I stumbled upon a very strange question. I have developed an application with the superposition of 3.1 AIR for some time now without any problem.
All of a sudden this morning, Flash ceased to compile my Air approx. ADL hangs whenever he throws. I know 'suddenly' does not say much, but it's pretty much what happened. The strange thing is that this has nothing to do with the app I'm developing. Restarting my computer, open flash, create a new project with the AIR model and compilation (with the empty project) always blocks the ADL.
The only thing that has changed since yesterday and today is that last night I tried as a proof of concept to compile an iOS since an earlier application app I had, using Packager of iOS in Flash CS5.5, I was able to install it successfully on my iPad and everything and I closed flash after that. This morning, nothing will compile.
I revenue AIR 3.0 to my backup 2.6 (the one that installs with Flash) and things have started to compile again. It behaves normally after doing this. I thought that my SDK has been corrupted somehow, so I downloaded a new one from the Web site (here: http://www.adobe.com/products/air/sdk/) and did the overlay again, and after that he started crashing again.
Another thing is that ADL plant ONLY when AIR 2.6 is selected. Once again, I've created a new empty project and chose AIR 2.5. ADL crashes when you test the movie, I chose AIR 2.6, AIR for iOS and AIR for Android, and it crashes every time. Revert to the original SDK (2.6) stop the fracas in all versions.
Is there a way I can get a log of the crash of the ADL and post it here, so we can dig deeper problem?

So, it's always a little embarrassing for the Flash IDE. I don't know how this can get so darn corrupt anyway. It turns out that this flashbug (the firebug add on extension of firefox), this is what has caused all this. When flashbug is installed, a row is added in the config of the flash player mm.cfg file.
This file is located on a Mac in: / Library/Application Support/Macromedia/mm.cfg (note this is not the library, is the highest level library on Macintosh HD). I don't know where this file is located on windows. The line that Flashbug adds is:

When I was testing my iOS (export of FLASH) app I got a VERY strange error:

at com.coursevector.flashbug::Profiler/allCompleteHandler()
