beta version string
This version of Firefox is 21.0 on Vista 64. On XP I'm on the "beta" channel and FFx updated to version 22.0 earlier today. Now I want this version on Vista 64 to move to the "beta chain.
Of all versions of Mozilla offers for Windows, Mac OSX and Linux the Win64 nightlies are the only officially supported builds are they mainly to catch the break because it is possible to unlock Win64 without affecting the Win32 builds.
These Win64 versions are category 3 generations when the builds with support that includes publications are tier-1 and so if if there are server or build problems (for Win64 Nightly) is not a priority to get work as soon as possible.
Note that the Nightly development channel also gets checkins just about every day and gets an update date accordingly with sometimes the occasional respin. It can be vary in stability per day as the 24 may build has been subject to many testers of crash for example.

I've been using beta versions of firefox mainly and prior worm 22.0 pages viewed zoomed out by default with a text of the resolution was that of my office in 1920 X 1080, it seems. After updating the pages of open text zoom and boxes more dialogue. IM very uncomfortable with this. Is there a way to put all the pages to open in a zoomed in on default format.
Which is caused by the code for HiDPI that landed.
You can change the layout.css.devPixelsPerPx and increase or decrease the value of 0.1 or 0.05 as follows to adjust the size of fonts and other elements in Firefox.
- The layout.css.devPixelsPerPx pref is a string parsed in float value and allows you to adjust the dimensions of all elements (user interface and web pages) specifically (resolution 0.1 or 0.05).
- You can use values between 0.05 and 1.0 to reduce the size of the elements or use a value greater than 1.0 to grow and enlarge the elements (percentage divided by DPI, % / DPI).
If the web pages must be adjusted after changing this pref so you can watch Default FullZoom Level or NoSquint.

I have an apple phone 5 and I wanted to know if it was safe to download the beta version of IOS 10?
Beta software may not be discussed in the public forum. If you are interested in beta iOS, you must take a look at this FAQ page. Beta of iOS should not be loaded on a device for daily use, it's really for testing only. https://beta.Apple.com/SP/betaprogram/FAQ

I recently installed a beta version, how to return to the non-beta updates?
About Firefox said I'm under 42.0b3 and I'm updating. However he also said that I am on the "beta update channel". I don't think I really want to use beta versions. How to get back on the channel of standard update?

41.0 Firefox is a beta version, I'm told of Norton. Toolbar does not work
I've upgraded to firefox ver. 41.0 Norton Toolbar does not work with it and it's a program that I use extensively. Norton tells their toolbar does not work because the worm 41.0 is a beta version. When you release the full version, toolbar works. I didn't know that your new version is a beta version, did you?

How to make the beta version of Thunderbird.
File Hippo has decided to install the beta version of Thunderbird. I don't have the time to try to make it work on Win10x64. I have all I can do for my other programs work. I tried to re - install Thunderbird and guess what? He installed the beta all over again. I am unable to compose anything or see anything. Now, the text is too small. Hell, everything worked until it has installed. Sometimes, I wish you guys would leave it alone when it works well.
FileHippo is a random unofficial download site. They seem to be the 40.0b1 of tuberculosis as the latest version of what is known to be used instead of CT 38.2.0 when searching for Thunderbird on the site.
They have links on the page for older versions but no 38.2.0 clearing by the current from August 14.
Thunderbird 38.2.0 is below.

Why Firefox upgrade me to a BETA version is tenacious?
I have long had FF set to let me know when a new version is available, rather than install it automatically. So I'm used to the continuous NAGs when an upgrade is available (until I install it).
The new problem is that FF is tenacious now me upgrade to a BETA version, which never used to happen. I'm now 30 and it asks me to upgrade to 31 BETA 1. Is it because 30 itself is still considered in beta? The reason why only a few weeks ago I installed 30 has been like a (successful) attempt to remedy a strange behavior that I lived with 29.
In any case, how can I go back being advised by official updates instead of betas? Either upgrade to a newer beta version automatically horse stop once 30 becomes the current official version?
I found my solution down the beta channel here, part of the post of ideato to https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/940799
Close Firefox. Go to C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\defaults\pref Edit channel-prefs.js with Notepad pref("app.update.channel", "release"); save it, exit, open firefox.
Check app.update.channel in topic change: config
I recorded the channel - prefs.js "revised" to another folder (because it wouldn't let me overwrite the old file immediately) and then copied the revised version in the original record, saying to crush the channel - prefs.js existing (that he would).
It worked. Now when I do Help/About Firefox it tells me that I'm up-to-date with 30.0, instead of asking me to upgrade to the latest beta version. I assume that means that the beta nags will be stop. If this isn't the case, I'll re-post here.

When and where can I get the beta version of firefox 31 ESR?
The current beta is downloadable on http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/channel/#beta is v30.0b9, right? (if so, why not v31.09b?) (Also, my platform is Linux)
As much as I KNOW Firefox ESR is not a beta or alpha as the regular Firefox releases. The current beta version is 30.0b9, but I expect that to change because 30 was released and the beta version will be based on 31.0 soon. I think have the wrong you how will the versions. Each channel of Firefox (nightly, Aurora, beta, release) past six weeks in trials and then gets moved to the new channel (for example, nightly-> Aurora-> Beta-> exit).
The link you're talking about above is the 30 Firefox Beta 9 (which will change as I said soon). ESR downloads are at http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/organizations/faq/ http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/organizations/all/ and the FAQ at http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/organizations/faq/

I still works with Windows XP and I'm using the Beta version of Firefox 29,0. I usually use the normal browser window, but sometimes will open a private window. In the past, before moving on to the beta Version of Firefox, a small mask icon will appear in the new window, indicate that it is in private mode. Now when I open a window in private mode, nothing appears to indicate this fact. The window is identical to the normal browser window.
(1) would be what my browser is glitching and just open a regular and not a private window?
(2) if there is a glitch how to fix it and if not how can I ensure the browser I use IS in private mode if there is no indicator?I'm using Linux and see the private browsing mode purple on the bar tab in a new private window, so I guess that it should always be there on Windows as well.
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem.
- Put yourself in the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance
- Do NOT click on the reset button on the startup window Mode safe

I need to install the beta version of Firefox 30 on my android and I already have 29 installed on Firefox.
What I need to uninstall Firefox 29 of my laptop or I can just level to beta version?Thank you.
Neither. Firefox for Android and Firefox for Android Beta are two completely separate applications. Beta installation with the installed version will not overwrite the installation of your release, it does not level the installation of your release. There will be an app Firefox and a Firefox Beta app on your list of apps.

How can I downgrade / beta version of Thunderbird back to the last working version?
I installed the beta version of TB by mistake (a while ago - I don't know how I did it.) Must have clicked on something without reading. I am now on v30.0). I need to restore or upgrade to the latest version of work. I use TB every day for work (associated NON-TI) and have a large number of emails that serve as customer history/records, so I can't afford to lose the info. I need to get off the beta version as soon as possible even if, as I am not qualified to use and require stability or a normal working version. Help, please!
First of all, given that you "cannot afford to lose" your emails, sure do you backups on a daily basis, reducing the risk of losing anything. If not, you really should before you proceed, see http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_backup , just in case.
Your settings and emails are in your profile, which is separate from the program files. You can reinstall without affecting the profile. (Which I am basically a copy of https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/991859 )
If after that you have saved your profile, just install the latest version of Thunderbird https://www.mozilla.org/thunderbird/ or http://www.mozilla.org/thunderbird/all.html (all localized versions). That I remember we can ask you something as if you really want to install a new version.

Why my calendar clear when I installed the beta version and why can't add events?
I downloaded and installed the latest beta version of Thunderbird and when I did, my full schedule of events and appointments disappeared and I cannot add anything to the calendar.
I do not like this beta and restore the previous version which worked very well.
Each version of Thunderbird has a matching version of lightning. The calendar is empty because you have not upgraded lightning when you uploaded the beta version of Thunderbird.
Lightning versions are here. Get the software to match and your events will load up.

How to remove the beta version
I found this difficult to use beta version, missing buttons and white pages are some of the problems. I want to delete and return to normal in firefox please
You can install Firefox 28 without deleting the beta version. This will leave your data personal in place. You can get Firefox 28 from this page:
https://www.Mozilla.org/Firefox/all/ (scroll down to your language)
(If you prefer to uninstall Firefox 29 first, make sure you do NOT delete your personal data (bookmarks, etc.) because there is no cancellation for this.)
