Bin - the kind of bug in the date of creation (the basic metadata) in CC?

I have my date of creation resulting .mov files - but I can't sort through the column header even if I posted it - I can fix all other metadata columns first but topics within the base do not seem to be able to be sorted by, in CS6 it worked, is this a bug CC?

Thank you

Oli

Looks like this is fixed in version 2015 CC :-)

Even better, now you can sort all the columns of metadata include custom!

  • Date of creation and the Date of importation

    When you import photos or video in the Photos to a folder, the application uses the date of importation of integration rather than the original creation date.  The result is that imports are all presented together under "Today."  Many photos and video taken on different dates, so I would only they listed according to date of creation rather than be grouped under the date of importation.  I went 'View' and checked "date of creation".  Photos don't work with "SORT" because it is always grey.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    If you look in the window of Photos photos and videos are sorted by date with the oldest items at the top.  This sort order cannot be change.

    In the pictures window, the elements are sorted by the date imported into the library with the oldest at the top.  The sort order cannot be changed here either.

    So, you can use a smart album to include all your photos in the library and then sort them one of these ways:

    The smart album could be created to this criterion:

    that would include all the photos in the library.  Now you can sort them as you like.  Just make sure that the date is early enough to catch all the photos in the library.

    Moments in Photos are new events, i.e. groups of photos sorted by date of catch.

    When the iPhoto library has been migrated first to the pictures there is a folder created in the box titled iPhoto events and all migrated iPhoto events (which are now Moments) are represented by an album in this folder. Use the Command + Option + S key combination to open the sidebar if it is not already open.

    NOTE: it has been reported by several users that if the albums of the event are moved in the iPhoto Library folder in the sidebar, they disappear.  It is not widespread, but several users have reported this problem.  Therefore, if you want to if ensure that you keep these event albums do not transfer out of the iPhoto events folder.

    Is there a way to simulate events in pictures.

    When new photos are imported in the library of Photos, go to the smart album last import , select all the photos and use the file menu option ➙ New Album or use the key combination command + N.  Call it what you want.  It appears just above the folder to iPhoto events where you can drag it into the events in iPhoto folder

    When you click on the folder to iPhoto events, you will get a window simulated of iPhoto events.

    Albums and smart albums can be sorted by title, by Date, with the oldest first and by Date with the most recent first.

  • How to copy "Date to update the" to "Date of creation"?

    For some reason, all my photos have had their 'date Created' changed for a date in 2015? I do not have a back-up I can restore (a more 30 000 photos), but both the "date modified" and the date of "Last opened" remain as the original "date of creation".

    Is it possible to copy the 'date Modified' or the 'last opening' to replace the 'created date '?

    ANY suggestions much appreciated.

    Thank you and happy new year,

    Kenneth

    I use a MacBook Air with the latest Photos and operating system installed.

    Where you see the 'creation Date' in the Photos?  The information about the Photos Panel is only indicating the date of capture integrated in the file original image IPTC and EXIF tags.

    File creation date that you see in the Finder, if you access the originals using the Finder, may change, if your library is synchronized with iCloud. All original image in my library on my MacBook Pro to iCloud retina display a date of creation sometime in July, when I downloaded the iCloud library.

  • Error handling and the basic flow data

    Hello

    I'm learning the basic error data and flow management. The seal is a simple VI to implement this.

    How do I implement this code to display an error.

    Thank you.

    You must assign a value of your choice for the cluster of error - in errors generated by the LabVIEW functions, error is already assigned/etc, but to find user customized errors, the user must assign values.  Just make sure you do not use the same error values that LabVIEW uses for predefined errors. If you do a search for error codes, you will be able to find this error varies from code - so pick something that is not already used.

    And Yes - using an error handler would be a simple way to accomplish what you're trying to do. This error handler will appear a message error only if your feature will remain smooth.

  • You can use Windows Explorer (in Windows XP) to view my files according to their DATE OF PUBLICATION (rather than the date of creation or modification).

    I have a lot of cuts in MY Documents. They are variously in format (TXT, WORD, and PDF). Using Windows Explorer, I know exactly how to display these documents based on their date of creation or update. But how to display these documents based on their release date.

    (1) there must be a way to set "date of publication" as a property of TXT, Word, and PDF files.

    (2) there must be a way to display in chronological order the files in Windows Explorer - not according to their creation or modification date, but according to their date of publication.

    Can someone please? Maybe someone write an essay with many historical sources can feel my pain. I was playing with MS Word properties and trying to create custom, attributes but so far I still did not understand how to format a) correctly a new attribute for b) search for this custom in Windows Explorer or the Publication Date attribute.

    In short, I want to see all my files, because they have been published so that I can have a "timeline of events" outcome of saved newspaper clippings.

    Name/rename the files with numbers on the front of the file name; for example, 01-11-2009 - historicaldocument1.doc, 02-13-1957 - historicaldocument2.doc. There is no way for Windows can read the text of a file whether it refers to the great Chicago Fire what on such and such a date.

    If you are doing historical research, you can check on some forums/newsgroup user on your particular area to see if other people use the documents management software. It would be the best way to go. MS - MVP - Elephant Boy computers - don't panic!

  • Not possible to export a list of virtual machines that are created in the past 7, 30, 120 and 180 days since an imported csv file containing the date of creation of virtual machine

    Not possible to export a list of virtual machines that are created in the past 7, 30, 120 and 180 days since an imported csv file containing the date of creation of virtual machine. My questions is the correct statement to the variable: $VmCreated7DaysAgo: $_CreatedOn "-lt" $CDate7.

    # #SCRIPT_START

    $file = "C:\Users\Admin\Documents\WindowsPowerShell\08-18-2014\VM-Repo.csv".

    $Import = import-csv $file

    $VMCreatedLast7RDayRepoFile = "C:\Users\Admin\Documents\WindowsPowerShell\08-18-2014\Last7Days.csv".

    $start7 = (get-Date). AddMonths(-1)

    $CDate7 = $start7. ToString('MM/dd/yyyy')

    $VmCreated7DaysAgo = $Import | Select-object - property name, Powerstate, vCenter, VMHost, Cluster, file, Application, CreatedBy, CreatedOn, NumCpu, MemoryGB | Where-Object {$_.} CreatedOn - lt $CDate7} | Sort-Object CreatedOn

    Write-Host "$TotalVmCreated7DaysAgo VMs created in 7 days" - BackgroundColor Magenta

    Invoke-Item $VMCreatedLast7RDayRepoFile

    # #SCRIPT_END

    You can use the New-Timespan cmdlet in the Where clause, it returns the time difference between 2 DateTime objects.

    An example of this cmdley

    New-TimeSpan-start (Get-Date). AddDays(-7)-end (Get-Date). Select days - ExpandProperty

    In your case, you could do

    Where {(New Timespan-démarrer ([DateTime] $_.))} CreatedOn) - end $start7). {7 days - gt}

    But beware of negative numbers.

  • Can you pass offline virtual machines between data warehouses using the 'Migration' with the basic Kit Essentials feature?

    I speak not of Essentials Plus vMotion between hosts or migration of VMS between hosts and data warehouses online. Just curious to know if its possible to off a virtual machine and click the button to migrate to another store of data with the basic Essentials bundle.

    Welcome to the community - Yes you can - it's what we call a cold migration.

  • Instant orphaned files - need to recover data on the basic disk

    Hello

    I'm sure this has been asked several times before, but how merge content from an instant orphan to the basic disk?

    Reading over there seem to be several different methods to do so.

    I have a virtual machine with three RDM, the virtual machine is running at the wide base VMDK disks but there is a single snapshot file associated with each base VMDK, snapshots do not appear in the Snapshot Manager.

    I tried to change the snapshot. The VMDK files and change the parent CIDs for the basic disk, but still not instant show in the Snapshot Manager.

    Is the best way to stop the virtual machine, remove the inventory and then add it to the inventory, I don't see the shots if the parent CID is correct?

    What is a better method?

    2. turn off then turn off the virtual machine (if it is not already off). Stop the current virtual machine with any Active snapshots.

    3. once the virtual machine is completely turned off, create a unique snapshot of the virtual machine and do not feed upward after this step.

    4 browse your data store for the virtual machine and look for the numbers you hard files. Instant latest should only be a few megabytes, and you want one that is just before that.

    5. go to the command line console and edit the .vmx for your virtual machine in the container for data store. Looking for a similar article to the following for each of your virtual disks.

    scsi0:0.present = "true"
    scsi0:0.fileName = "???-00002.vmdk"
    scsi0:0.deviceType = "scsi-hardDisk"

    You want to change the "scsi0:0.fileName =" section under the same file name that you found in step 4. You will need to repeat this in the file for each virtual disk on your VM.
    Save the .vmx file, overwriting the original.

    6. now, it will be a long process, if the hard files are large (more than 20 concerts) and can last several hours. During this process, you may lose connectivity to your ESX Server on the client of the infrastructure. What you need to do is run the below command from within the container to store the virtual machine data.

    vmware-cmd <your .vmx file> removesnapshots

    7. once the previous step is complete, check your VM settings in client infrastructure and check that your virtual disks are now pointing to the original hard file (does not contain de-00001 etc.). If everything was successful, you should be able to power to the top of your VM.

    8. once the virtual machine is running and check the operation, you can remove the last numbered - 0000x.vmdk that was created from your snapshot in the third stage (should only be a few megabytes). This file must have been ignored by the instant withdrawal because you have changed the .vmx file.

    Question I have is if the basic disk has been changed today I lose all changes today when merging the snapshots (which have not been written to since 18:00 yesterday)- or will be the basic disk back to 18:00 yesterday and lose all changes today?

    If you need to extract data from instant orphans, you know that you can NOT do without altering the current state
    new files from today will still be there - but they are not referenced in the MFT and other pieces are replaced by old data of the orphan snapshot
    If you must do this with a backup...

    or - possibly use a snashot of the RDM, as it is now...

    in any case – which gives good advice is almost impossible without sitting in front of the case

  • Can video clips first CC sort by "date of creation" in the media browser?

    First CC, video clips can not sort by "date of creation" in the media browser?

    Ah!  I was talking about the project panel where it doesn't seem to be an option to sort by creation date.  At least, not one I can find, not even editing metadata.

    I have it!

    Project Panel > metadata display > basic > creation Date

    .. .in the project Panel. The list view, click on Date created column head to select sort.

  • The IPTC metadata: copy and paste the data into an image

    So here's the problem: I work for a photo journalist/travel photographer to his Lightroom 4 8 TB database.
    Now, for some reason, he wants the CPHI-metadata title, the title and the legend to be the same for each photo. What I mean by that is not simply to give each photo the exact name, but rather have a picture with the title "Machu Pichu for the sunset" also the title ""Machu Pichu for the sunset"and the legend"Machu Pichu for Sunset".»
    So far, I did copy and paste between these boxes (I only usually have a title) for each single photo, but as you can imagine, with 8 TB, this will drive you absolutely crazy.
    What I would like is to have is some kind of metadata Lightroom preset for just take the title and copy and paste it in title and legend to tell. Is it possible that it is possible?
    Thanks in advance. It would really save me tons of quite unnecessary work.

  • 5 d Classic - problems with the Date of creation on the files

    I use Bridge CS5 v 4.1.0.54 and am having a problem with my 5 d classic, where some of my photos are dated correctly, and then some are dated as 11 hours later. They were all kick the same camera and same lens (no), a few seconds apart. Date information only appear to be incorrect in Bridge and are therefore sorted incorrectly, making it difficult for the workflow. However, I still have the pictures on my camera, so I took the CF card and examine its contents in Windows. In this case, all dates seem to match and be consistent. I posted in other forums, and most have suggested that there is probably a problem with Bridge, ACR, or Photoshop.

    I have provided links below for an example of images with different info Date created by bridge and then the correct information of the Date of creation in Windows when you view them on the map see

    I saw cela in at least two different scenarios recently. Haven't looked through all of my recent photos still to say whether or not it's got more than that.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you

    Have seen the problem before.  Two things to try.

    1. empty the cache in the folder with the bad weather (Tools/cache/purge cache folder xxxx).

    2. read this link http://forums.adobe.com/thread/854763.  The guy is from Austrialia and concluded that, after a certain time bridge labled it the next day.  Where are you from?

  • Error 1 has occurred to C:\Program Files (x 86) \National Instruments\VideoMASTER\bin\VideoMASTER.dll\Check Size.vi of data

    Ok... Seriously I'm banging my head against the wall here.

    I'm using LabVIEW 2011 SP1.  VideoMASTER 3.1!  I have compiled mass screw on the 2011 folder.  It does nothing good.  2 machines to put up with the same versions of LV and VMS.

    I use the VBF in Image file VI niVMS to convert .vbf files to jpg.  I browse to folder of waveforms in the public domain for VideoMASTER and select the native C:\Users\Public\Documents\National Instruments\VideoMASTER\Waveforms\480p RGB OmniGen.vbf file.  I then monostable it in the same folder as the jpg file.  I get the following error:

    "Error 1 occurred in C:\Program Files (x 86) \National Instruments\VideoMASTER\bin\VideoMASTER.dll\Check Size.vi of data.

    Possible reasons:

    LabVIEW: An input parameter is not valid. For example if the input is a path, the path can contain a character not allowed by the operating system such as? or @.
    =========================
    NOR-488: command requires GPIB controller charge controller. »

    On computer A, I do NOT get this error (in fact, everything works fine for all files).

    On computer B, I get the error.

    Do the same for the vbf HDMI file in the folder of waveforms and it works very well.

    Do the same for the 480 p file, but a bmp file and no error, however the bmp file is corrupted with no data.

    I need to know what is happening in the bowels of this dll.  Maybe I'm missing a codec on Machine B?  It seems that I'm missing a dependency for this file type.  If so how would I know which?  VMS I reinstalled several times.  I copied the dll over the Machine A.  I checked is NOT a licensing problem.

    Any thoughts?

    Thank you

    Jigg, with some quick research, it seems that the accident that you see can be related to do not call the niVMS function initialize before VBF to picture file feature.  Please try to run each of the screws after the launch of LabVIEW 2011 and see if you get the same results, and also adding the Initialize works in your code solves the problem.  If so, it seems that it will be your workaround solution, but we will also file a bug report; crash is not an expected way to treat this condition.

    Edit: Also, if you have other versions of LabVIEW, 2012, etc., which you can compare run this code, we would be interested in the results.

    Thank you

  • Quickly retrieve the Exif metadata

    I have a script for Photoshop CC 2014 that makes some calculations of exposure based on the Exif metadata in the files value (EV) camera raw and then adjusts the exposure of the image to the EV of the target.  I know that this information is quickly available in Bridge, but when I try to get the metadata in Photoshop, I use the document.open(), and command that opens the file (which takes a lot of time) instead of simply grasp the Exif metadata.  I can get it quickly in a bridge script, but I'm having a hard time incorporating this kind of things in a targeted Photoshop script (the stuff of BridgeTalk is a bit confusing to me, or it does not work on my computer).

    I also tried to use "bridge.executeScript ()", but the subject of bridge apparently is not available for targeting Photoshop scripts (otherwise something is inconsistent with my installation).  Bridge is available in targeted only Bridge scripts.

    Here's how it works in Photoshop scripts (I include only the party concerned).

    for (var nfile = start; nfile < nstop; nfile ++) {}
    var Name = File(testListing[nfile]).name.replace (/ \.) [ ^\.] +$/, '');
    var file = File (testListing [nfile] .path + "/" + name + ".") JPG');
    If (file.exists) {}
    App.Open (file);
    }
    else {}
    App.Open (testListing [nfile]);
    }
    var DocInfo = app.activeDocument.info;
    app.activeDocument = var docRef
    EV [nfile] = CalcEV (DocInfo, BaseISO);
    app.activeDocument.close (SaveOptions.DONOTSAVECHANGES);
    }

    (FYI, I use the jpeg file if it's there because Photoshop reads the exif data for this file more quickly that it made from the raw file)

    Here's how it works in scripts Bridge:

    firstfile = ' 7A7A5842. CR2 ";

    LastFile = ' 7A7A5843. CR2 ";

    var ExifProperty = "exif:DateTimeOriginal";

    var ExifNamespace = ' http://ns.adobe.com/exif/1.0/';

    app.document.deselectAll ();

    app.document.selectAll ();

    var myThumbs = app.document.getSelection ("cr2");

    var fstart = - 999;

    var fend = - 999;

    for (var n = 0; n < myThumbs.length; n ++) {}

    If (myThumbs [n] .name == firstfile) fstart = n;

    If (myThumbs [n] .name == lastfile) fend = n;

    }

    var %NUMFILES = myThumbs.length;

    var fileThumbs = myThumbs.slice(fstart,fend);

    FLEN = to fend fstart + 1;

    var EVarray = new Array (flen);

    for (var n = 0; n < fileThumbs.length; n ++) {}

    var md = .metadata fileThumbs [n];

    ISO = md.read(ExifNamespace,'exif:ISOSpeedRatings');

    SS_string = md.read(ExifNamespace,'exif:ExposureTime');

    var test = SS_string.split("/");

    ShutterSpeed = test [0] / test [1];

    var Aperture_string = md.read(ExifNamespace,'exif:FNumber');

    If (Aperture_string == ") {}

    var opening is Number (1.4);. assume Samyang at f1.4

    }

    else {}

    var test = Aperture_string.split("/");

    Opening test [0] = / test [1];

    }

    var ISOadjust = Number(1.);

    EVarray [n] = Math.log(Math.pow(Aperture,2)/(ShutterSpeed*ISOadjust)) Math.LN2;

    $.writeln ('ISO', ISO, "SS", SS, 'Av,' opening 'Is EV', EVarray [n]);

    }

    app.document.deselectAll ();

    'Done... '. » ;

    This example works for me with CS6 (don't have CC)

    Create a folder "test" on the desktop and put some cr2 files in the folder and try the following script.

    #target photoshop;
    main();
    function main(){
    var bt = new BridgeTalk();
    bt.target = "bridge";
    bt.body = "var ftn = " + getInfoFromBridge.toSource() + "; ftn();";
    bt.onResult = function( info ) { processInfo(eval( info.body ));}
    bt.send(10);
    };
    function processInfo(info){
    //do whatever to data
    alert(info.join('\n'));
    };

    function getInfoFromBridge(){
    var Info = [];
    app.document.thumbnail = Folder("~/desktop/test");
    app.document.deselectAll();
    var thumbs = app.document.getSelection("cr2");
    for(var a in thumbs){
    var t = new Thumbnail(thumbs[a]);
    var md = t.synchronousMetadata;
    Info.push([[thumbs[a].name],[md.read( "http://ns.adobe.com/exif/1.0/","exif:FNumber")]]);
    }
    return Info.toSource();
    };
