Bind clips edited to new multimedia files

Hello

In order to send my calendar of Premiere Pro will I need to convert my AVCHD media in ProRes (Resolve will not work with AVCHD).

My problem is that I already edited my calendar with original AVCHD from my FS700 (stupid - I know), and now I need to link the mounting clips to the converted ProRes media. Is there an easy way to do this is Premiere Pro? I imported the ProRes premiered with same file names - the only thing changed is the. MTS-> .mov

Thanks in advance

/ Rune Borre-Jensen

Assuming that the ProRes clips have the same names as the original, only changes to the extension, with Premiere Pro closed rename the folder that contains the original media.  When you reopen the project, PP will ask where are the media.  Point to the new files.

  • In Win7, how move you or rename a single multimedia file or media files containing single file without causing the library of Windows Media Player become corrupt?

I am trying to manually rearrange media in a way and records are arranged and named on my Win7 PC. I need to be able to move and rename files and folders individual.

The problem is that the traditional method of doing such things (i.e. the cut/Paste and Rename commands in Windows Explorer) will cause the damaged Windows Media Player library. It seems that all the changes to the paths of the multimedia files must be made in the Windows Media Player interface. However, I'm unable to find options to move or rename files or folders in WMP.
I am aware that there is a way to move and rename all the files and the folders that contain media files automatically, but not what I'm looking for. As far as I know, it does not allow me to select only the files and folders, and it offers very limited options for what could be the new places and names.
What is the feature I want to exist in WMP? If not, is it possible to do outside WMP which will not cause the damaged WMP library? (Also, if not, why not, Microsoft?)
    Thank you

    Hello

You can change the location of folders in Windows Explorer.
After changing the location, I suggest you to rebuild the Windows media player library.

  • Why can't I create a new epub file in a model of epub on ibooks author?

I try to import an epub I created on another platform in iBooks author in order to edit it there and re-export as an epub. When you choose file > new epub file and I choose a model, epub models are not available. No idea why? No work around? I don't see why I can't create an epub from an any epub.

I don't think that iBA has the functionality you need.  You start with a model of epub and add things to it.

You must use another application to edit your original epub.  Apple won't do anything for this AFAIK.

  • IMac is not able to share multimedia files with multiple users on the same computer.

We just bought a new IMac that we were very excited.  We have phones Apple and iPads, replacement and ten year with a new Mac old PC made since.

Now, the trouble begins. For more than ten years Windows had several usernames on the same machine and have been able to have a shared folder only for music, pictures and video that my iTunes program and others could acsess and share from several user names. This kept all in one place for new photos families by me or my wife and our 30 gigabytes of music that comes from our CDs was available at bolt of us. Now in train to implement on IMac should be easy but is impossible.  after transferring the music to my login information, it cannot acsess all files on my login. I am not even able to share or provide his acsess. I can move the iTunes folder to my shared folder. She can get acsess now but iTunes says that the library file is locked. I worked with care from Apple on the phone for that sold, but they believe it will not be possible without creating two copies of the 30 gigabytes of music for each of us. who would take more hard drive when it failed too.  Sharing is not any help. These files were before iTunes. I'm not pay 30 dollars a month to store in icloudcor use a google reader slow to the Internet connection when everything's fine here. Apparently Applow programmers do not believe in sharing of multimedia files between two users on the same device, even if a PC does that very well. My choice here is so far have duplicates of all the photos, music and videos loaded on the disc for me and my wife, charge all the media for an external hard drive which for some reason any all Apple programs will share, or return the mac to another PC that will be able to make several connections with sharing music and photos. Apple if you are reading this you are 10 years behind on that. Not everyone is born in the last five years and bought their music on iTunes to be able to use home sharing. Home sharing cannot help this. your applications should be able to be told to use the media files shared without import copies to readers of the user. I am very disappointed. Someone else has any ideas for that?  I have pictures, not iPhoto. I have a week more to be able to return it. I'm not interested in making a fake account that is always connected to share or maintaining of me constantly connected. It should have been easy, I had to be happy to play with new software.

Photos, iPhoto and iTunes libraries must appear on an external hard drive that is formatted as shown below to be used by multiple users on the same Mac:

So get a properly formatted external HD and move your iPhoto/pictures of her as well as your iTunes library.  This way all your iMac users can access and use both libraries.

An alternative to the external HD method is to partition your internal hard drive into two partitions, one for libraries.  It is formatted as shown above and be large enough to contain the libraries and allow the expansion of libraries.

  • Stopped Media Player library view multimedia files.

I am running XP Pro SP3.

The Medial Player 11, my songs and other multimedia files intercepted in the library. I cannot add them to the library and can't add new files to the library.  It is a new problem that began a few days ago. I had the media files for about a year without prior problem.

In library view, reads the message, "there is no element in the library again, the player is looking for digital media files in the background, click here to add files to the library now."  However, nothing appears.

If I try manually add it to the window 'library', the player search files and indicates that he found some, but none are added.

I still have my audio and video files in their files on the C drive.  Media Player will play them fine if I double-click on them in their folder or open on the file menu in Media Player.

I tried the following, but had no success.

    1. I tried to get Media Player to rebuild the files/databases in accordance with the instructions on the Microsoft Support Web page (Article ID: 925718"You cannot view, add, or delete items in the library of Windows Media Player 11")

    2. second attempt :--> %USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft - deleted file Media Player

    3. also uninstalled / Rollback and reinstall.

None of these answers have managed.  I don't know what else to do.

I'm happy to and will enjoy additional ideas or an other.

  • Windows media and the sharing of multimedia files hangs at startup

Whenever I boot I get two error messages saying that Windows media and sharing multimedia files crashed and recommend only going online for a solution. I sometimes get and additional message after that I click on the search for a solution online recommended saying my problem can be resolved by installing Service pack 1 - my computer is completely up to date with an automatic update no matter what MS sent - however I downloaded SP 1 and tried to install it but I get a message saying that it is already installed - so it will not run a reinstallation or repair.

These messages are irritating, after a year or two - is there something I can do to fix this, and that is the appropriate forum to deal with the problem.

    Thank you

Could you please post all three (or more if there are more) EXACT (Word for Word) including all codes error messages.  What version of Vista are you using?  You are unable to use a feature for this reason or they start after start and error messages if you access (in other words, what does not work on your system and how are you sharig media and move if you are - I mean how do you played for a year)? You want to be able to use these features, or do you just want the error messages go away?

If you just want to get rid of the error messages, go to http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb963902.aspx and run Autoruns and click all.  Search for anything related to Windows Media and sharing of multimedia files and when you find it uncheck the box to prevent it from start to start.  Check the entire list as there may be several entries.  When you're done, click OK and restart.   Messages should be gone if you stopped the programs that started them.  If not, check the new list - entry can be a file name that doesn't look like it's related in any way.  You can be sure it's there somewhere.  If still no joy, go to start / search box and type msconfig.exe enter and double-click on the program icon that appears and then go to the Startup tab and see if you see one or two programs.  Then if they are verified and that should fix things.  If this does not work, go to start / Control Panel / Administrative Tools / Services and scroll to Windows Media Sharing service and double click on it and make sure that it is set to off (manual or automatic) and stop (stop if it is started).  Reset.  I think that at least one of the messages will solve if nothing else has worked so far.

If this does not work, or did it partially, try a boot minimum http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135.  If the problem goes away then it's just a matter of tracking down the culprit at the origin of the problem.   Follow the procedures described in the article.  Once found, remove, delete, disable or uninstall.  Once remember to put Vista in normal status, as described in the procedures. If the problem occurs in clean mode then just restore the system to normal and reboot - this solution will not work.

I hope that one of these works of procedures - we should (if we can find the right boot files). Unless you disable the service, this will not affect programs not work if you try to use (although it seems that they are not likely to work because they crash at startup) or non-, but the startup items are not always the programs themselves, but requests for assistance that may or may not have to run the program.  If you decide to go forward to try to get these programs actually work (remember, the programs themselves may not start and may just run in the background until needed so that you can't see anything other than deleting the messages happening if you have undone what you did to remove these startup applications) you will need to go back to the service at least.  If you need to add the entries to startup programs is unknown to me - most of the elements are not really necessary, but some are (like Windows Defender and your AV programs and many services - I mean not services startup programs when I say unnecessary).  If the return messages or it turns out that you don't really need these programs at startup even if you want to use applications (and that these programs are not required for applications to run), then you can always just uncheck the boxes again and you'll be fine.

If you want to use the programs, follow the advice that follows should help to identify and possibly resolve the problems with the applications.   But to really care about them if you went for a year without them and lasting to this problem?  In any case, it's your decision.

    Thanks and good luck!

  • Re-create all indexes on new data files

    Hello

on FSCN 9.2 on Win 2008

We'll re-create all indexes (belonging to sysadm) in the new data files.

-Are there any script or utility to do this?

-can you offer me any scenario?

    Otherwise, I think only of:

0-extract DDL for all areas of storage and index.

    1-drop tablesapces

2 Create tablespaces (by the DBMS_GETDLL script ('TABLESPACE'...)

3 re-create all indexes (by the DBMS_GETDLL script ('INDEX',...))

    4 rebuild all indexes.

    Any idea?

    Thank you.

    of 786997.1

There is no trace of PeopleTools that stores the name of the tablespace for the index.

Here's how to work the tablespaces.

There is a table called PSDDLMODEL where we store the information of DOF model for index and table creation, among other things. DDL models contain a template with replaceable parameters. One of the parameters in the create index Oracle is a field called INDEXSPC. This field by default is PSINDEX.

If you wish to override this value, you can go in the App Designer, open a folder, select Tools-> data Administrations-> select Index to edit the index and then select modify DDL, then select change the setting for the Create Index and Create Unique Index model. This replaces PSINDEX for this record. The name of the underlying table is PSIDXDDLPARM.

If you want to change the default PSINDEX to something else, go to the utilities Menu and use DOF model by default and change the PSINDEX to something else. Once you change this setting, the next time that you create the index, it will be created in the tablespace.

If you create an index in a different tablespace outside PeopleSoft, we have no knowledge of this and do not update our tables in order to take into account where he currently resides. Once you have updated the default template and replaced the records you want to replace, you can make a Data Mover, followed of a Data Mover import export and the index will be created as they have been redefined. Or you can just do a SQL Create Index and re-create all of them.

  • Photoshop elements 14.1 (Windows 10) crashes after importing multimedia files in a catalog to convert

In addition to 12.1 PSE, I installed PES 14.1 and converted to catalog.pse12db catalog.pse14db without any error message.

Import... Download the pop media button to the top of the "Coppying - XX % Completed" progress window, which evacuated then at 100% and PhotoshopElementsOrganizer.exe crashes.

Kill PhotoshopElementsOrganizer.exe with the Task Manager and go to PSE14 show media files had nevertheless imported free of errors.

Adobe Photoshop elements 14.1 reinstalling does not fix the problem.

Open a new catalog and importing multimedia files in this new catalog.pse14db runs without error.

Catalog.pse14db contains the beginning marked more 6000 photos with Photoshop elements 3 (on my old PC with Windows 2000) and thus has been transformed several times during its history. The volume_table table includes readers/devices from the old PC, which do not exist in PCs today.

Although I'm not familiar with SQLite, using sqlite manager (add-on Firefox) help solve my problem (if it's really a question of catalog.pse14db)?

    Any ideas for me?

    Thank you!

    Michael Weinert

    Michel,

    I took a break.

Apart from that, I'm at a loss what to try next...

A few days before Pentecost, I resumed outages by install the trial version of Photoshop elements 13, conversion of catalog.pse12db into catalog.pse13db, from Photoshop elements 14.1 and transform this catalog.pse14db catalog.pse13db.

He has no problem now to import media files in this converted catalog.pse14db. I will continue using PSE14.1 with the converted catalog whatching to find errors.

I wonder why the repair function on the Catalog Manager solves this problem, and what will be the opinion of the team of Adobe.

    BTW

Import media files offer 'Get media' or 'Open' - what is the difference?

    Kind regards

    Michael

  • How to record a video cut like a new video file for later use in other projects

Hello.  I am new to Adobe Premiere and this might be a really stupid question, but it is possible to take a slice of video, a piece out of it and record this song like a new video file to use in several sequences?  For example, I have a videotape of interviews with a 100th birthday that I have attended and I would like to connect different comments in different parts of a video that I do.  But I would like to create splices of all comments I recorded, consider each comment and then organize the comments on the paper and then go back and put the clips of commentary in different parts of the video master.  How to connect the original video into smaller pieces and set them aside so I can embed clips at a later date?  I know I can cut video and leave it in my main video but I really want to put aside.  A bit like cropping of a picture and make a backup from the cropped image under a different name, so I can create a collage of pictures that result later, I crop.

If all goes well, that makes sense.  I have until December to finish this video wife of Grandpa will celebrate HIS 100th and I would like to have this video to see the family.

    Thanks in advance.

To reduce the amount of space used, I am trying to archive some of my video clips edited using the archive feature in Adobe Premiere Elements v11.  I use the option 'archive', which States that only the edited parts of clips in the timeline over 30 images each side will be saved.  However when I check the archived file it saves the entire clip beating my goal to eliminate waste and save space.  Any help would be appreciated.

When I have edited images and want to include those documents published in other projects, I pulled out the timeline in a separate file. In my case, I am very concerned by the quality of this release, in order to choose a format/CODEC to maintain the ultimate quality. This article covers my output options: http://forums.adobe.com/message/4556586#4556586

Some users feel that the lossless CODEC is what is important and just, will choose say a CODEC H.264 for intermediate files. Which introduced an additional compression and a slight loss of data, going the extra step. You may, or may not, believe that the difference in quality is worth. The choice will be yours.

    Good luck

  • Can I edit a PDF/A file and retain the attributes of PDF/A?

Can I edit a PDF/A file by changing the display/a Mode in the preferences of the Document '' never. ''  The file will retain its PDF/A in such that the font attributes incorporated once the file is changed?  It does not matter if the file is no longer PDF/A compliance.

I use PSE 10 and with the other catalogs, I had no problem editing my files .raw (6.7version) and then open them and after the new edition, do a "save under" and save as a .jpg file in a defined version.

now, I'm working with another set of image files and when I try to record the final edited it suggests:

ED - 1.psd and menu drop-down lists also: psd, pdd, pse, .raw, png, and TIFF. (there are no layers in the file)

FAQ search failed. I avague remember to have this similar problem there are other versions of PSE years but don't remember the solution. It is the first example of this problem. Other information that might help, it is according to me, this is a "convert" catalogue of PSE 8. I am running WIN 7 Prof 64 bit

    Appreciate any help

    Dan Y

I returned to a catalogue of different previous > same computer, same PSE10 and selected a previous version of consisting of the original > raw file and saved them edited ed - 1.jpg file and selected the original .raw, complete edition open file it opens in ARW 6.7 as before, then opens the file in the editor of PSE10 and tried to save it as a .jpg file (I did obviously in the last days at the most) (not changes to the computer or programs) and it does NOT OPEN AS a file .jpg as DESCRIBED above.

    HOPE THIS HELPS

Eventually, you work with a 16-bit image. Before you click the button open an Image in the dialog box camera raw, change the drop-down list for 8-bit and you should then be able to save in jpeg format.
