How can I connect scene?

When I use this action

(

button_7.addEventListener (MouseEvent.CLICK, fl_ClickToGoToScene_4);

function fl_ClickToGoToScene_4(event:MouseEvent):void

{

MovieClip (this.root) .gotoAndPlay (1, "show"); )

an error pops up:

ArgumentError: Error #2108: see the scene has not been found.

at flash.display::MovieClip/gotoAndPlay()

at first02_main_fla::MainTimeline/fl_ClickToGoToScene_4()

What should I do?

Click on the keyframe (to select), and then in the properties panel, in the name field, type a frame name (for example, frame1_show).

in your code, use:

gotoAndPlay ('frame1_show');

    Background:

    I'm working on a scientific application that uses numpy/scipy (Python modules) in the backend for the calculation and h5py for data collection.  My application consists of a layer of UI in QML/C++ calling an embedded digital computations Python interpreter.

    I have compiled successfully cross - the following libraries:

    BLAS, LAPACK, HDF5, Python3.2, numpy, scipy and h5py

    So far, I am able to run my application in debug mode and was able to import various Python modules (including plug-ins) without any problem.

    Problem:

    As I approach of realization, I started testing in release mode and noticed the following:

    (1) loading external libraries that are formatted in the works of the file bar (ie: I'm able to call BLAS/LAPACK Fortran libraries HDF5 routines).

    (2) run the Python interpreter works integrated (in the main thread or in a separate thread)

    So, I am able to confirm that the external libraries and the Python interpreter running in release mode, as well.

    Problems occur when I tried importing Python modules:

    (3) import builtin Python modules/packages works without problem

    (4) import of modules/packages with relative path fails.  Example, if I run the command:

    Import numpy

    This works in debug mode but not in release mode.  After further review, it seems that when importing packages, any import with relative path statement will fail.  In release mode, the example above does not have:

    Of. import scimath as emath

    However, the following statement works:

    from .scimath import *.

    I have two questions:

    (1) no assumption whether it is a problem of Python, is a matter of output mode?  I'm leaning toward release mode because the same application runs in debug mode.  I also looked at the python source code and could not see nothing esoteric files IO operations.

    2) based on the observation, it seems that relative paths are handled differently between the Debug and Release modes.  Could someone tell me please to some documentation explaining the differences?  And if there is no such thing as these documents, may provide a brief summary?

    Thank you

    Josh

    Ok.  I think just, I solved my problem.  I will list the observations of first and then another solution that could be useful to someone in a similar situation.

    Bottom Line Solution (if you don't want to read more):

    Apparently, I have compiled my LAPACK library with extended precision of point floating (128 bits) that are not supported on the Cortex A9.  I recompiled LAPACK with double precision.  Running and the import of the application in release mode now works.

    Interesting observations:

    At first, I thought that the dynamic library release mode handles loading differently than the debug mode, because during development, I never came across questions.  As a result, I decided to directly link all libraries that numpy using in my application (even if the application does not use them).  Compile and link all are perfect, but of course, during execution, the numpy failed to load module.

    So I decided to run it in debug as a validation test mode.  Surprisingly, the application will fail at the binding stage!  It gives symbols not try to call the extended precision of the XBLAS library routines (which, as mentioned previously, does not work on the Cortex A9).  At this point, I'm completely flabbergasted that I've been running the application using LAPACK in debug mode without ever seeing this message for almost a year.

    I wondered how is this possible?  I also use the linear algebra of scipy module, calling LAPACK/BLAS routines without problems during development.  In debug mode, I never see this failed or any message indicating that there are unresolved symbols in my the LAPACK library.  In addition, I cross check all calculations against MATLAB/Octave and they are correct.

    Conclusions:

    Here are my conclusions, and if a BlackBerry person can confirm, I'll be very grateful:

    (1) in the mode of publication, the dynamic linker will check each symbol in a shared runtime library.  If no symbol is not resolved regardless of whether your application is used or not, the library of loading will fail.  This does not work in debug mode.

    2) there is a potential bug (not sure) in the linker which also behaves differently between the debug mode and release mode.  In debug mode, the linker cannot link a shared library if no symbol cannot be resolved despite the executable not referencing them.  In release mode, the linker will not FAIL.

    If the two above are met, then I would make a suggestion to change behaviors such as build step and run step behaviors are aligned between them.  Please let me know if it's intentional or if I should file a bug report.

    Thank you
    Josh

    PS: Btw, I also built a Fortran cross compiler in case you're wondering how I managed to compile the BLAS and LAPACK for BlackBerry.

  • BB10 WW Extension Native events

    I wrote an extension of virtual keyboard that works well as it goes.

    I wanted to add virtual keyboard in the extension events, so when the system does something with the VK I know about it and also to follow the height of the VK correctly, then virtualkeyboard_get_height is useless

    BB10-WebWorks-frame includes only a single API with a whole and loop which is BBM (what is exaggerated wide as an example for my little simple event)

    Anyway - I cobbled together something that should just about the work (I think), and it kills my extension

    Although the hooks to start and stop the event handler are commented he dies (it goes up to load the extension then say it can't find it - probably due to it crashing)

    I need really just an example of loop simple event

    If you want to watch the event broken stuff and point out my stupid mistake don't hesitate

    It's all on https://github.com/peardox/bb10webworks-ext/tree/master/VKeyboard

    I have two extensions more that I want to write after I get a job and they both also require the event loops

    I applied for a GitHub access then when I get these sussed they will end up in the API community

    Hello

    Your c ++ is not complete - your (most likely) crashing due to a lack of work; a problem with the writing of an extension, it's that the missing functions are not identified (it's a library! some other library could have this code!)

    You have not defined:

    webworks::TemplateNDK::SendEndEvent();

    but you called it.

    You must add the name of the class here have implemented each feature;

    static void SendEndEvent(){
        virtualkeyboard_request_events(0);
    }

    I highly recommend you try to compile your extension as/in a project of waterfalls - missing functions are identified immediately at the binding stage – and you get richer debugging...

    Can't be that Cascades even if can be any stand alone executable C++, made with the tools of your choice...

    I hope this helps!

  • Canvas campaign: can you bind a segment to a decision stage?

    In the Web of the campaign, can link you the segment immediately to a decision stage before a link to an e-mail? I am trying to create a campaign that sends an email to people who did not click on a previous email, but I can't bind the segment at the stage of decision email clicked. (See example below). For this particular message, I'll go ahead and exclude those who have clicked in the segment itself, if it is not ideal. I would still be able to do this on the canvas of the campaign, if possible.

  • addition of mc library on the stage by using a binding name

    Hello

    I was about to ask this question, I'm glad this has been answered. However, in my project I need to add several instance of the class of dynamic library, I know how the AS2 way, can we elighten me with AS3 way, specifically with this new function addchild (movieclip)?

    Thank you!

    First check if you have given the instance name of the button as "mc" in your myMovieClip.

    Then enter your code even

    myMovieClip.mc.addEventListener (MouseEvent.MOUSE_DOWN, showans);  You can also write a CLICK event...

    In showans, you write like this.

    function showans(e:MouseEvent):void

    {

    e.currentTarget.parent.atext.visible = true;

    }

  • How can I associate with a particular build in a slide stage?

    I have a slide with 78 Animation build stadiums.  I have links to other slides provide more information with LINK to a SLIDE. However, I can't find a way to post a link to a particular stage of build in the slide, I just left. Is there a way to "LINK TO SLIDE 7 BUILD 48" for example? This would allow me to return to the same stage of the construction of the animation I just left with the LINK on.

    Keynote doesn't have the ability to link to a build. Keynote cannot bind to a specific slide in a presentation.

    The workaround is to bind to another slide that contains objects you need displayed, with others together to animate.  Which of course isn't possible for a small number of related slides, the permutations to cover each generation on a slide is unmanageable.

  • Why stage Builder creates constantly new instances of nodes?

    Hello

    I thought I had a simple idea to create a control that would allow me to recover a part of the behavior of a component of the map.  It's all of the control:

    import javafx.beans.property.BooleanProperty;
    import javafx.beans.property.SimpleBooleanProperty;
    import javafx.beans.value.ChangeListener;
    import javafx.beans.value.ObservableValue;
    import javafx.scene.Node;
    import javafx.scene.Parent;
    import javafx.scene.layout.StackPane;

    public class Card extends StackPane {
        private final BooleanProperty active = new SimpleBooleanProperty();
        public final BooleanProperty activeProperty() {return active;}
        public final boolean isActive() {return active.get();}
        public final void setActive(boolean active) {this.active.set(active);}

        {
            visibleProperty().bind(active);
            managedProperty().bind(active);

            active.addListener(new ChangeListener<Boolean>() {
                @Override
                public void changed(ObservableValue<? extends Boolean> observable,
                                    Boolean old,
                                    Boolean active) {
                    System.out.println(toString() + " active changed to: " + active);
                    if(active) {
                        Parent parent = getParent();
                        if(parent != null) {
                            System.out.println("Parent is: " + parent.toString());
                            parent.getChildrenUnmodifiable().forEach(Card.this::deactivateIfCard);
                        }
                        else {
                            System.out.println("Parent is null.");
                        }
                    }
                }
            });
        }

        private void deactivateIfCard(Node node) {
            if(node != this && node instanceof Card) {
                Card card = (Card) node;
                card.setActive(false);
            }
        }
    }

    The idea is simple enough; expand StackPane, add an active property, bind the visible and managed component properties to the property active, and, whenever the active property is changed to true, browse the sibling nodes by disabling brothers and sisters who are also the type of card.

    However, this does not work with the generator from the scene.  While trying to debug, I created an ExtStackPane:

    import javafx.collections.ListChangeListener;
    import javafx.scene.Node;
    import javafx.scene.layout.StackPane;

    public class ExtStackPane extends StackPane {
        {
            getChildren().addListener((ListChangeListener<Node>) c -> {
                System.out.println("ExtStackPane children change: " + c.toString());
            });
        }
    }

    It doesn't save that list change events.  However, I was very surprised by the exit when you work in the generator from the scene.  I added both controls the generator onstage and did the following:

    0) added an ExtStackPane

    (1) added a map to the ExtStackPane

    2) added another card at the ExtStackPane

    (3) adds a label the first card

    (4) added a label to the second card

    5) changed the text of the first label Hello

    6) changed the text of the label of second in the world

    (7) set the first card to active

    (8) the value of the second card active

    I get the following result:

    1)
    ExtStackPane children change: { [Card@5b9067b3] added at 0 }

    This is what things look like in the generator from the scene:

    card-panes.PNG

    The scene generator recreate the entire hierarchy whenever I make a small change?  Here's an app that does the same thing as the manual steps that I performed in the stage Builder:

    import javafx.application.Application;
    import javafx.scene.Scene;
    import javafx.scene.control.Label;
    import javafx.stage.Stage;

    public class CardApplication extends Application {
        @Override
        public void start(Stage primaryStage) throws Exception {
            ExtStackPane stackPane = new ExtStackPane();

            // 1
            Card card1 = new Card();
            stackPane.getChildren().add(card1);

            // 2
            Card card2 = new Card();
            stackPane.getChildren().add(card2);

            // 3
            Label label1 = new Label();
            card1.getChildren().add(label1);

            // 4
            Label label2 = new Label();
            card2.getChildren().add(label2);

            // 5
            label1.setText("Hello");

            // 6
            label2.setText("World");

            primaryStage.setScene(new Scene(stackPane));
            primaryStage.setTitle("Card Application");
            primaryStage.setWidth(600);
            primaryStage.setHeight(400);
            primaryStage.show();

            // 7
            card1.setActive(true);

            // 8
            card2.setActive(true);
        }
    }

    The output when executing the above is:

    1)
    ExtStackPane children change: { [Card@6dfaa767] added at 0 }

    2)
    ExtStackPane children change: { [Card@6aa2c411] added at 1 }

    7)
    Card$1@1abf7511 active changed to: true
    Parent is: ExtStackPane@41993867[styleClass=root]

    8)
    Card$1@5733cd2 active changed to: true
    Parent is: ExtStackPane@41993867[styleClass=root]
    Card$1@1abf7511 active changed to: false

    The behavior is obviously very different than when I work with control in the generator from the scene.  Can someone explain to me that event giving rise to the stage to change the behavior of my map control so much?  My map control breaks some I'm not aware of one or more rules?

    I think you're confused about what makes SceneBuilder.

    SceneBuilder is a design tool, used by the programmer (not the end user) to generate the part of the code that is used to run the application. (Specifically, it generates the FXML code which is analysed by the FXMLLoader to create and configure objects that are usually part of the graphic scene.)

    When you use SceneBuilder to create the code, it generates a model of what the user interface will look like, if the generated FXML should be loaded and displayed. This model is not meant to be an identical vision of what will be the end user, but a help to you, the programmer, to generate the code that you want to.

    So, for example your accordion/TitledPane in the layout of the poster than SceneBuilder, the * selected * titled pane is always expanded. This allows you to drag and drop objects inside and set it up in other ways. If you clear the checkbox "extended" in the properties pane, then it remains extended in the model so that you can continue to configure it. However, this property is not ignored: the State of these boxes is respected in the FXML file that is generated. So when you click on 'save' in SceneBuilder, the fxml generated will contain TitledPane extended element = "true" If the box is checked and expanded = "false" If the check box is cleared. (SceneBuilder will of course also applied the rule that only TitledPane in the accordion can be increased.)

    Similarly, for your control customized, you should be able to implement and SceneBuilder displays the 'active' property in the box. If you disable this property, if active = false, which will be respected in the fxml and when you run the active application will be set to false and so by your liaison, visible is set to false and the component is not displayed. But the comp in (of course) SceneBuilder always displays your component, because it would be extremely difficult for you to configure a component that did not appear in the programming tool.

    In fact, there is no real reason for SceneBuilder create all the objects that you set up at all. He could just trying to figure out what they look like and render a representation of them on a canvas, for example. It's probably much (much) harder than instantiating them and the authors of SceneBuilder apparently chose to write SceneBuilder in a way that re-instantiates the controls several times. But this has absolutely nothing to do with what happens when you run the application and it is no logic at all to compare the two.

    adumi wrote:

    So basically if I want to, on the first frame of the main timeline to control outside the navigation of an instance on the stage...

    UH... No. We've already established that you can't control the outside a clip over the first picture, it is on the scene, no matter how much you want. What you can do, is have each clip is hidden during its first image (either by this.gotoAndStop (1), where the frame 1 is empty, this.visible = false), then tap any image after that you can start issuing external goto.

    Or if you really, REALLY can't have this delay of an image so that all was in place, you could go with what Colin has produced and communicate with each clip via external variables. They would even be global. Declare this.clip1Frame = 5; then in the clip have this.gotoAndStop (this.parent.clip1Frame);

    Well, I just did some experiments, and it seems that the real problem here is that the instance of timeline on subitems get immediately initialized. The container itself, clip, however, which means that you can set variables on this subject. Doing so this.myclip.goFrame = 1; in the parent, then this.gotoAndStop (this.goFrame); in the subitem, works.

    Save and close. Run the workflow. Enter several characters for the first input parameter, and then click Next. The default value displayed for the second input parameter is usually the first character or a few initial characters of the first input parameter.

    Behavior seems to be related to how fast the first input parameter is typed. Typing slow gives only the first default character for the second input parameter. Fast typing usually results in several characters. Paste the value complete for the first parameter usually gives full value as the default value.

    I want to derive from the default values for the following input parameters from of the entries in a previous step. I use an action to create a more interesting default value that above, but I still need the total value for the first parameter to build my default.

    Is there something that I am missing, or is this a bug?

    Thank you

    Bob W.

    Hi Bob,

    This behavior is by design - default values are evaluated only once. What you want is achievable via another property called "data binding".

    I hope this helps.

  • Bind / unbind help please

    I am trying to get my head around link/unlink (or on / off) with the following scenario:

    1 rectangle and a red ellipse. When you hover over the rectangle, the ellipse becomes blue. When you mouseout/mouseouthandler(), the ellipse turns red again.

    2. If you click on the rectangle stays blue ellipse (unbind mouseover/mouseout/mouseouthandler()).

    3. If you double-click the rectangle, everything returns to the State, it was in the beginning (bind mouseover/mouseout/mouseouthandler()).

    In the control panel actions, I added the code is:

    passage of the mouse...

    element var is sym.$("Ellipse").css ("background-color", "blue");.

    mouseout/mouseouthandler()...

    element var is sym.$("Ellipse").css ("background-color", "red");.

    Click on...

    var element = sym.$("Rectangle").off ("mouseout/mouseouthandler()");

    DblClick...

    var element = sym.$("Rectangle").on ("mouseover");

    var element = sym.$("Rectangle").on ("mouseout/mouseouthandler()");

    1 and 2 seem to work fine, but double clicking does nothing. I know this must seem Basic, but since the separation mouseout/mouseouthandler() on click seems to work very well, I can't work on why I can't connect on double click.

    Any help gratefully received. Edge using animate CC (but will probably get the last version in a few days if that makes a difference).

    Hi there, MilkStudio

    Sorry I took so long.

    I think I have a solution for you. In the work, I use v2014.1.1 and at home I v2014.0 - version number, that you reported is not one that I recognize so I hope you can open my files! These earlier versions seem to be a little different in how they deal with the code.

    Here's a link: Dropbox - unbind2.zip

    I imported the Panel Scripts jQuery (jquery - 2.0.3.min.js), and I think it will be bundled with the files, but if you have a really early version of the edge, you may need to use the yepnope trick to import jquery - I understand that very well because I have not used the first versions of the edge!

    I did it as a slightly different way from the one I described earlier. Instead of use the classes that I used a variable - this way, the code is much less crowded and you will see what is happening better. I also used the built in functions for the rectangle button, rather than put everything in compositionReady - when I tried to use the code from earlier (that I had to work in a more recent version of the environmental assessment, in the job), it does not work! Maybe something that I did wrong, but I decided to disassemble everything instead.

    We have a variable: 'clicked' and 2 functions called 'Tockées' and "Towhat" in compositionReady. We change the variable to 1 when the user clicks the rectangle and back to 0 when you double click.

    The mouseout/mouseouthandler() function simply checks that the value of the variable is to see whether he should go back our Red Ellipse.

    I hope that all makes sense - I always get my head around things like myself - I'm a Flash Dev, who is trying to learn Javascript, so there may be a more elegant solution to this, but that's how I would do it at my stage of development.

    I put a lot of comments in the file to make it more clear.

    See you soon

  • THE problem with banner publication. Undefined stage

    Hello

    We have the following problem with banner published cartoons of edge.

    TypeError: can't get goods 'stage' of reference\n undefined or null to init (http://animate.adobe.com/runtime/5.0.1/edge.5.0.1.min.jTypeError: could not get the goods 'stage' of reference\n undefined or null to init (http://animate.adobe.com/runtime/5.0.1/edge.5.0.1.min.j ))

    SCRIPT5007: Failed to get the goods 'step' of undefined reference or null

    File: edge.5.0.1.min.js, line: 133, column: 135

    Mistakes, that it only occurs in IE 11 if the animation does not load.

    Here is the hosted banner

    iShares Core

    Is a very simple animation, the only changes made on the inserted document ready function is an adserver requirements. However for the moment is commentated for test purposes

    End of binding edge

    Console.log ("compositionReady");

    SYM. Play();

    });

    I find that if I do not understand the library of EBloader. (Library of the ad server) the banner works well at some point, there is a conflict between edge and ebloader.

    http://DS.serving-sys.com/BurstingScript/EBLoader.js

    Thanks for the help

    Concerning

    Luis

    The solution I found that it was in the order of calling script.

    Call the EBLoader.js file before you call the file edge.x.x.x.min.js.

    THAT IS TO SAY:

  • How to bind actions programmatically to elements

    Hello

    How I programmatically add/bind an event to an element after another click event?

    currently I have a popup function which should close if the user clicks anywhere on the screen/window, I tried to add the event close to the stage from the beginning, but of course it is called at the same time my open button is called, so now I need to link a click action to the scene after clicking x button... How is this work the most effective way?

    Note:

    I tried using binding, but without success.

    .. .bind ("click", function () {alert ("Hello!") ;});)

    any suggestions?

    not sure why it wouldn't work. That's what I use. Make sure that close properly.

    {sym.$('element').bind ('click', Function ()}

    Console.log ('clicked');

    });

  • JavaFX binding throws illegal state Exception: not on the thread of Application FX

    Hi all

    I am updating a label of a task using bindings.

    However, when I 'Bind' the label text property with a property of the task, Illegal state exception string is thrown. Saying: this is not not on the thread of JavaFX.

    The Exception occurs whenever I try to set the property of the task of the Interior string.

    Please do not suggest to use the platform. RunLater(). I want to do this through links as the values I am trying to display in the label (later on) could change too frequently, and I don't want to flood the queue of the thread of the user interface with executable objects.

    Please let me know what I'm doing wrong and what I need to change to make it work properly with links. (I'm new to links and concurrency JavaFx API)

    Here is my Code.

    public class MyTask extends Task<String>{

        MyTask(){
           System.out.println("Task Constructor on Thread "+Thread.currentThread().getName());

            {
                System.out.println("Creating stringProperty on Thread "+Thread.currentThread().getName());
            }
        };
        private final void setFileString(String value) {
            System.out.println("Setting On Thread"+Thread.currentThread().getName());
            myStringProperty.set(value); }
        public final String getFileString() { return myStringProperty.get(); }
        public final StringProperty fileStringProperty() {
            System.out.println("Fetching property On Thread"+Thread.currentThread().getName());
            return myStringProperty; }

    If myStringProperty is bound to the textProperty of etiquette, you can only change it on the Thread of the JavaFX Application. The reason is that change its value will result in a change of the label, and changes of live parts of the graphic scene cannot be performed on the Thread of the JavaFX Application.

    Task and Service classes expose a messageProperty you could use here. The Task class has a updateMessage (...) method that changes the value of the message on the Thread of the JavaFX Application property. It also merges calls in order to prevent the flooding of this thread. If you could do the following in your MyTask.call () method:

    updateMessage(""+counter);

    and then in your controller just do

    label.textProperty().bind(myTestService.messageProperty());

    If you don't want to use the messageProperty for some reason any (for example you are already using it for something else, or you want to make something similar to a property that is not a string), you must merge the updates yourself. What follows is based on the source code of the task:

    public class MyTask extends Task {

         // add in the following:
        private final AtomicReference fileString = new AtomicReference<>();

        private void updateFileString(String text) {
            if (Platform.isFxApplicationThread()) {
                setFileString(text);
            } else {
                if (fileString.getAndSet(text) == null) {
                    Platform.runLater(new Runnable() {
                        @Override
                        public void run() {
                            final String text = fileString.getAndSet(null);
                            MyTask.this.setFileString(text);
                        }
                    });
                }
            }
        }

       // Now just call updateFileString(...) from your call() method
    }
