BIOS E1 - 571G

I E1 - 571G I'm interested what bios is the best for this model and is the last. I use win 7 64 bit, also my laptop use especially integrated intel hd graphics and not nvidia geforce gt620m can do gt620m my main gpu? and 1 last thing in nvidia Control Panel it is only the 3d settings

If your laptop comes with windows 7 from the factory, the latest version is 1.13

about the only 3D settings, it is correct.

on the use not of nvidia card, try to check this:

http://Acer--UK.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/A_ID/9073/~/assigning-a-graphics-card-to-an-applicat...

or

in the nvidia Control Panel, there is really almost only the 3D settings. No problem.
Right-click on the icon of the game-> Run-> processor NVidia graphics processor with high performance

for a permanent change, control panel nvidia-> 3D settings-> manage the 3D settings-> Global setting-> favorite graphics processor tab: Auto or high-performance NVidia processor

    Hello

My laptop is very hot, I bought just like 2 days ago. It most of the time up to 60 ° c and the only thing that I opened Google Chrome or Skype alone, I think it's way too hot for a single program.

I want to change the fan speed I tried settings of the Bios and could ' t find but then I saw there was a new update, I've updated and I still can not to change the fan speed.

I tried FanSpeed, NVIDIA Inspector and things like that, I can't change it there either. Even though same NVIDIA Inspector allows me to overlock but I fear that will damage things, also since the laptop is new.

Then. How can I change the speed of the fan?

Thank you in advance if someone answers.

You bought two days ago? I would like to take back. Someone at the factory might have a bad day, and you don't know what other problems will find.

  • No access to the BIOS. Aspire V5 - 571G

    Hi Acer community,

the problem is: I can´t enter the BIOS on my laptop, I Don t know what the problem and I now have the idea of what to do now.

    What have I done?

I had installed Windows 7 and everything worked fine. So I decided to install Debian GNU/Linux instead. It worked, although I had a few problems with the Wi - Fi connection and the system has not successfully stopped. That s why I wanted to reinstall Windows. In order to boot from the DVD, I have to change the boot order, because Debian always changes its own priority of boot to max - so at this point BIOS still worked! During the installation of Windows 7, I formatted all partitions of HARD drive, created new and BAM! Windows 7 would not installt because he has some problems with the GPT partitions, he said that he could not install on that partition (I tried it all). So I canceled the installation and the inexplicable to the system. Of course now he printed "the operating system not found '. I could not even access BIOS (although it has shown that the normal message 'Press F2...) "installing Windows 7 had trouble finding some drivers, so it has not yet started correctly. The recovery of Acer, I created from Windows 7 (before installing Debian) began, but he was not able to copy the first file and ended. If nothing has worked. However, I could install Debian again, who is now my OS.

    Current situation:

Operating system is Debian 7, s work, but I have a lot of problems with it (can't change the brightness of the display, often loses a wifi connection, restarts instantly (!) after stopping)

CAN´t enter the BIOS: I tried F2, DEL, ESC, F10, F12 without success.

Debian is again at startup priority #1 and I can´t change it without BIOS (so not able to BOOT from DVD, etc.)

I tried to short-circuit the G2201 contact (repair explains how to use it to remove the BIOS password), without success.

Maybe it s import I use the GRUB bootloader, which is automatically installed with Debian

So at this point, I can only hope that anyone of you has an idea what to try next.

Thank you for reading of this

MY GUY OK PROBLEM IS SOLVED, HERE IS THE SOLUTION:

Maybe there is a problem with the basic bios. When you set it to UEFI for LEGACY with the secureboot he have a * beep * bug and after you can not start on anything except which is authorized by the secure boot

And with the bug, you can not enter the bios...

My solution is...  To Flash the bios!

Here you can find the FILES, no PACKAGED goods:

    https://www.BIOS-mods.com/forum/thread-Acer-Aspire-V5-571P-BIOS-unlocked-hidden-options

I download files on my google reader:

    https://drive.Google.com/file/d/0B_lTuCxt68AOYy03UE83LVBoZWc/view?USP=sharing

This image of the unzipped bios, this means: you can run it from the prompt...

Put the Windows RESCUE KEY into the computer

Go to Advanced Options and open the command prompt,

Then put another key with the bios files flashing inside...

Type "pushd D:\". "where D:\ is the usb key, where is the flashing files! (if you don't know the letter, you can try A B C D E...

Then do a "DIR" command to see if it's the right device!

    Then run launch.bat.

Then it Flash the bios AND YOU CAN press F2 to ENTER IN...

So now idk if we were not able to press F2 due to a bug in the BIOS, or problem fastboot (fastboot = no keyboard support)

  • What is the pre-installed windows version 8 on my acer aspire V3 - 571G?

I have an acer aspire V3 - 571G, unfortunately, I lost my hard = active operating system disc

I found a way to get the serial number of the bios, but I need to know the version of operating system, I installed windows 8 pro but he would not accept the activation code... so can you please help me?

If this isn't Pro, he is very probably Windows 8 (Core). This is the standard edition of windows 8 and is called only (Basic) to distinguish it from the OS itself.

UPDATE: after checking on support.acer.com, it's appears the newest operating system for your computer is: 8.1 Windows 64-bit

  • Aspire upgrade E5 - 571G screen

    Hi people,

I want to put the screen on Aspire E5 - 571G of 1366 x 768 to FHD screen. This laptop also comes with a factory FHD screen while there should be no card motherboard/bios problem.

The only thing I'm not sure of is whether I have a cable of eDP one or two lanes. It is likely that this is a cable of eDP a path being the display I have 1366 x 768... so I was wondering if you can advise where I could get a cable of eDP 2 channels for this laptop supporting a FHD screen?

    Thank you

    Hello

    Wow!

... Thanks for your comments... The same cable eDP!

  • Precaution of the BIOS update

    Hi acer community

So I have an Acer Aspire F5 - 572G - 595M, and I want to upgrade the BIOS to version 1.13. I'm a little nervous to do so. Why? Because:

    1. it says on the description page "2.Update EC V2.6 to improve the performance of the game on CPU GT3e." There is no such thing as GT3e CPU - GT3e is a GPU for Broardwell (5th generation I core processors)

    2. I don't have a 5th generation I Core processor. My CPU is 6th generation core i5-6200U

    3. in the "README" file, it is written "Click"ZRW_113.exe"in mode Winodows" makes me REALLY nervous to the subject to code, because "Winodows" is a typo, passing mostly under rushed conditions. Maybe the coding was not properly written, and it can cause a brick to my laptop.

    4. I am VERY suspicious of the contents of the update to the BIOS - there is no ROM file or .fd or .bin. The files are: xerces - c_2_7.dll platform.ini iscflashx64.sys iscflashx64.dll H2OFFT - Wx64.exe FlsHook.exe BiosImageProcx64.dll Ding.wav.                                  My old laptop - Acer Aspire E5 - 571G - 524H had all these files AND a 'BDW.fd' why my BIOS file is it too?

Is it safe to update? Based on the rather incorrect description, I'm guessing his breeding the clock of the 950 MHz to 1000 MHz or 1050 MHz max HD 520?

I would also like to know why acer has not included a series of 'F' in the menu 'Select location' - I have an Aspire F5, but there is only one column for Aspire E5 and M5.

Thank you for your help in advance

Upgrade the bios on all my computers and everyone I'm working on that. I make sure that the battery is fully charged, the power is connected and cross my fingers. BIOS of many updates later, I'm still lucky.

You can try Universal Bios Backup toolkit, but I don't know if it works on a hybrid Insyde/phoenix bios.

    Hello

You confuse a Mac to a Windows window. Mac do not have a bios but they have firmware, if there is any necessary updates to your machine, they are available in the software updates which is located in the Mac App Store. If nothing comes, while your system is up to date and should be left alone.

  • Clocked at 20 degrees warmer since putting on 3.87 Rev A Bios Update on Z420 Workstation

    I have a question:

Not too long ago I put the Bios Update on A Rev 3.87 was considered to be as critical an update on my workstation Z420 (running Windows 7 Pro 64-bit), and lately I've found that the CPU idling at about 20 degrees more hot than before.  I used to hear creaking noises coming from the computer I learned normally come circuits on the motherboard power delivery, but as long as I heard those CPU would be on average around 50 degrees C at idle.  I hear these noises and now the CPU is on average around 70-75 degrees C at idle.  Not sure what the connection is.  HP performance Advisor tells me I'm in the normal range, but I want to just make sure that with programs like Autodesk Maya there, she become too hot and stop the machine.   I don't know what the temp high-end is considered maximum security.  This change could have due to the update of the Bios?

Thank you for your response and suggestions.  I check in my BIOS power management settings has been developed the extended mode, but the temperature has always hovered around 70-78 degrees at idle.  I checked Intel spec for this (E5 - 1650 6-core xeon) processor, clocked at 3.2 Ghz by heart, and although he said nothing on the TMax, he mentioned that the TCase (which he defined as the maximum temperature allowed integrated processor heat sink (IHS)) was 64 degrees Celsius.  Now my temperature of the case, according to my HP Performance Advisor version 1.7.7517.0 is only about 24 degrees C, but I put my fan a little higher CPU, about 2009 rpm speed.  This makes a little more noise, but my CPU temp has dropped to about 49 °.  "" Before the change of the fan speed has been slightly more than 1300 RPM while the Advisor I have always said that it is in the range "normal".  Is it good to get the speed of the CPU fan like that or do I have to go a little lower?

  • All BIOS options are disabled / grayed out

I have 8770w with HP ProtectTools active EliteBook and just to have on the security of the TPM secure. I rebooted and tried to access the BIOS, my password is accepted, but virtually all of the options are disabled. Any idea what's going on here?
    Is it the TPM chip?

In fact, the solution was to open a session in the BIOS as a guest and then configure a BIOS Admin password. Thank you post that.

It is odd that the default user does not receive the Admin of the BIOS rights.
