  I have a master USB external HDD with its programs that I removed hundreds of passwords with the help of Mazzif.

  Mazzif program will detect your UUID, the serial number and model number, then use this information to produce an .exe file to clear the password.

  Whenever I'm in support of Hp Assitstant it says there is a BIOS update available for AMD processors

  I try to install it, it creates a restore point, it checks the disk space, it connects to HP servers, it downloads the update and then when it comes to install just fails. Help, please!

  The BIOS for a notebook of class business is robust enough. You will need to send it to a Service Center HP or a BIOS company to clear the password.  There are alternative methods, but we discuss in this forum. Try BIOS mods forums.

  I downloaded SP76205 several times. When I double click on the file, I get an error message: "the system BIOS file (c:\SWSetup\SP76205\hpqflash\ROM. CAB) is missing or damaged. THE system BIOS does not update. "Looking at the files in the path listed, I find two zipped files (68SCE and 68SCF). Explore files zipped, I find efibios.sig, Rom.bin, Rom.sig, ver.sig and worm (text file) in each zipped file.   Hi guys Im new to the forum and looked for help on my problem, but came away empty-handed. Im hoping some of you experts can help. The problem im having is bios for my new ram card. When I get to the main Bios screen, most of the options are grayed out. Should I just try a 8gig vs 2 x 4?

  I'm afraid, it seems that you have a bad memory slot that is a bad mother. You did a good job of troubleshooting logically. If either module market in a slot, then it is not compatibility it must be the slot.

  If there is no need to update the BIOS, it is strongly recommended that you do not.   Updating the BIOS is an inherently risky thing to do. It is less, so with UEFI, but only if you know what you're doing.

  If you absolutely feel that you need to update the BIOS, and then download the most recent BIOS update softpaq and then double click it. Turn off not your PC until it is completed. If you ignore it, you will find what is the risk of updating the BIOS and what means a motherboard 'bricks '.

  The recovery procedure does that if you updated the BIOS at least once. That said. It does not work, but it can't be a copy of an old BIOS present in the partition HP_Tools on your hard drive for her to use at the moment.

  first of all, it's an absolute joke which is on the pages of pilot currently offered by HP. For my 4740 s, I can find two (2) different drivers for Win8.1/64.

  

  There was another official page to get your drivers which does not seem to exist anymore.

  Maybe, HP Softpaq Download Manager is the solution for you. HP Softpaq Download Manager
  It is not a very pleasant to use tool but you finish by will find the drivers you're looking for.
