bitmap of the LMT

(Oracle 9.2)

Hi guys,.

The Oracle documentation says:

A tablespace that manages its own extensions maintains a bitmap image in each data file to keep track of the free State or used blocks in this data file. Each bit in the bitmap corresponds to a block or a group of blocks. When a measure is allocated or freed for re-use, Oracle changes the values of the bitmap to display the new status of the blocks of.

I'm confused by this statement. How Oracle to use a block or a group of block? In addition, if we use extensions UNIFORMS, then surely the bitmap of the LMT should be the size of a UNIFORM measure, Yes?

Thank you

Its always more than one block that maintains a bitmap image block, because it will be too costly to maintain a single bitmap block for a block of data file.
If you want to see more in-house, you can pass the time watching these 2 tables, X$ KTFBUE and X$ KTFBFE . They will give information on the bitmaps withi the LMT. But I don't recommend you to go there.

Thanks aman, I'll look at these paintings, although I'll probably get more confused.
Of the article you specified below, extensions were all 64K, while it was clear that each entry bitmap represented 64 k worth of data blocks. Suppose that the extensions could all be different sizes. So how each entry of a bitmap to represent scopes?

    The only downside is I'll reconsider the decision if someone comes up with a valid requirement for .bmp files.  But at the present time, I can't think one.

  • that bitmap to resemble LMT header?

    Hi guys,.

    I tried Googling autour but have not found the answer, so if someone could kindly explain or if they know of a good article, they can tell me, I would appreciate it

    Basically, I'm trying to think of what looks like the bitmap header of a file of data belonging to a LMT to?

    one) is that it will appear in the header of a data file?
    (b) initially if we have not extended, it will be empty. Now we add a span of say 128KB. I see two pieces of information that must be stored. ((1) (in this case 128) size 2) the address of the first block but how can he be represented by a bit? That's what confuses me?

    Thank you guys

    just to confirm, the header of an area does not contain any information about which segment it's part, Yes?

    Thank you

    No, OracleGuy

    There is no header extensions, the measure is a logical unit of storage of database space allocation composed of several contiguous data blocks.
    As you can see, not as block and file data, to what extent is only the logical unit. Measure information is stored in the data dictionary, you can identify a certain extent by the datafile are on and start and end of block number.

    You can see this part of the concept of Oracle for more information

  • Each bitmap in the COD file extra resource

    Hello

    JDE generates an additional COD file for each bitmap resource, which I have added to the project. Their names are project - 1.cod, project - 2.cod, etc. Is their way to include these additional catches of cod in the default COD file that is just project.cod?

    I do not; I think that once you exceed a certain size of a COD file (64 KB), it begins to chunk the COD upward into pieces. It's fine, when you deploy OTA or whatever, the phone will re-install the parts and all goes well.

  • Drawing Bitmap on the custom field

    If I have a custom component that extends the scope I am able to draw Bitmap on it?

    I try to shoot in object overrided method in this way.

     protected void paint(Graphics g)    {         Bitmap = Bitmap.getBitmapResource("test.bmp");        if(picture != null)            g.drawBitmap(getPreferredWidth()+5,                          getPreferredHeight() + 5,                          picture.getWidth(),                          picture.getHeight(),                         picture,                          0,                          0);

        }

    But no picture on my component.  Specified test.bmp exists as a resource and object Bitmap appears correctly. No exceptions occur.

    Any comments? Maybe it's impossible to draw a bitmap on component expanded in such a way?

    Thanks in advance.

    Thanks for your suggestion. The problem wasn't in extention but in the region of destination, top and left. X and there were calculated with respect to the top and left of the main screen instead of top and left of the custom my field.

    Your message dropped a hint on how to survey. Thank you very much!

  • Graphics, drawBitmap, setARGB... Why can't I just draw a bitmap on the screen?

        public Shcreen() {
            // I create an Array and fill it with color values
            int[] bitArray = new int[36];
            int color1 = 0xFFFF00AA;
            int color2 = 0xFFBBCC00;
            int color3 = 0xFF12BBEE;

            for (int i = 0; i < bitArray.length; i += 3) {
                            // Bitmap will be just a set of 3 consecutive colors over and over
                bitArray[i] = color1;
                bitArray[i + 1] = color2;
                bitArray[i + 2] = color3;
            }

            // The idea is to use this Array to form a bitmap and display it on the screen
            // Bitmap's dimensions will be 6x6
            Bitmap image = new Bitmap(6, 6);
            image.setARGB(bitArray, 0, 6, 0, 0, 0, 0);
            Graphics stupidGFXDoesntWork = new Graphics(image);
            // Not sure if the following would be necessary or not...
            stupidGFXDoesntWork.drawBitmap(0, 0, 6, 6, image, 0, 0);

            // Nothing happens! Blank screen! >:(
        }
    }

    ... So what I am doing wrong?

    Well, what you have is exactly what I proposed. To override a method in Java, you must specify exactly the same formal parameters as the method of the superclass. In addition, you must move the declaration of the image by the manufacturer and make a class variable. Try this version of the Shcreen class (I have marked the changes that I think you should do your code):

    final class Shcreen extends FullScreen {    Bitmap image;    public Shcreen() {        int[] bitArray = new int[36];        int color1 = 0xFFFF00AA;        int color2 = 0xFFBBCC00;        int color3 = 0xFF12BBEE;

                for (int i = 0; i < bitArray.length; i += 3) {                bitArray[i] = color1;                bitArray[i + 1] = color2;                bitArray[i + 2] = color3;            }

            Bitmap image = new Bitmap(6, 6);        image.setARGB(bitArray, 0, 6, 0, 0, 6, 6);        Graphics GGG = new Graphics(image);        paint(GGG,image);    }    protected void paint(Graphics g, Bitmap I){        super.paint(g);        g.drawBitmap(0, 0, 6, 6,I image, 0, 0);    }}

    The key to understanding it is that the system automatically calls the method paint (Graphics) of the screen when it's time for the screen to display on the screen. You shouldn't try to get rid of it in the constructor.

  • Air my fonts bitmap on the screen in Adobe products?

    I had to reinstall my whole PC due to a disk failure hard and now whenever I work in an Adobe product the fonts on-screen look horrible and bitmap - they were fine until I reinstalled. I attached a screenshot comparing the same text in WordPad and two Acrobat (left) (right) and you can clearly see that the text is much more flexible in WordPad (and other applications). It prints very well.

    Does anyone have an idea on how can I fix? He leads me to the madness! I'm working on a PC running Windows 7 and my screen is running at the recommended 1680 x 1050 through DVI resolution.

    There is a setting in preferences that allows you to choose the type of view to smooth type for. Mine was set to 'none '. I changed my monitor, and everything was good again.

  • Preservation of sharpness of the text in the bitmap for the conversion of SWF?

    I do a lot of conversion turning PDF pages in SWF files. The text must remain net as possible and images must look very good. We have proprietary software on a server that can do it fairly well, but takes a while. I used Flash Professional CC for 2014 do with only fair results. This is the best procedure, I tried so far:

    Save the page PDF to TIFF 600 dpi. Open in GIMP or Photoshop and resize to twice the size of my SWF pixel desired, change the dpi to 300 and a PNG output. Open flash, create a new Actionscript 3, size of the stage to the pixel dimensions of the SWF file desired, drag the PNG on stage and resize again to the pixel dimensions you want. Save the FLA file, make sure that the post parameter has JPEG quality to 100 and the output SWF file.

    But I still see the text in the SWF file that is not as strong as what our server creates, and the IT guys are all on other tasks, so I can't ask them how the server was put in place.  Shouldn't be able to have the same control in Flash?

    import a bitmap in flash > place on stage > click Modify > bitmap > trace bitmap > experimenting with settings until you get the quality/file size that meets your needs.

    the resulting vector image should be resized without aliases problem.

  • How to reduce the memory usage when loading bitmaps from the library?

    When I use BitmapData.loadBitmap () to load an image in the library, then attachBitmap() to add it to a MovieClip it takes a lot more memory instead of just to have the same image inside a MovieClip statically in a frame in the timeline.

    The dispose() function not only deletes the BitmapData object but also destroys the bitmap previously attached inside the MovieClip, so it cannot be used to free the memory.

    Is - this how it is supposed to be or there at - it another way to dynamically attach bitmaps with comparable rightly memory use have them on stage?

    You can do the same thing with movieclips: create a bitmapdata instance and use the draw() method to overlay as needed.
