Each bitmap in the COD file extra resource

Hello

JDE generates an additional COD file for each bitmap resource, which I have added to the project. Their names are project - 1.cod, project - 2.cod, etc. Is their way to include these additional catches of cod in the default COD file that is just project.cod?

I do not; I think that once you exceed a certain size of a COD file (64 KB), it begins to chunk the COD upward into pieces. It's fine, when you deploy OTA or whatever, the phone will re-install the parts and all goes well.

  • How to create the .cod file to run on the Simulator BB9900

    Hi, I already from the zip package in order to use the bbwp command to create the .cod file and be able to run on the simulator of BB9900, but when I run this command as described in: https://developer.blackberry.com/html5/documentation/compile_ww_app_for_smartphones_1873321_11.html

    It creates two files, each with a .bar file, this type of file, I can't run it on the 9900 Simulator but a .cod file is required to run applications on the sim card.

    I don't know how to create the .cod file.

  • Problems with the .cod files

    Hello

    I'm selling my app in MobiHand but I'm having a problem downloading my app to download.  I am trying to download my .jad and .cod files but I get this error message:

    "Some of the COD files mentioned in the JAD file, are not uploaded"

    If I look in my .jad file I can see a reference to a - 1.cod beside that file: RIM-COD-URL-1:

    I read that if you change the extension of the .cod file in a zip file, you can then extract other .cod files.  This has not worked for me. I have only 1 file of cod in my build directory.  I use the eclipse plugin.

    Thanks for any help.

    Make sure you are deleing files JAD and cod before making your build of 'production '.

    If you app has crossed the line of 64K at a time, then came back, your JAD will still retain this obsolete reference to the unused COD file.

  • Problem when u - save the *.cod file using javaloader.exe

    I have a project for coding in c#.

    When I runing comand u save using javaloader.exe and then only to save file to the same folder as javaloader.exe .cod.

    So, how can I save to a different directory (folder).?
    Please tell my way. ! Thank you very much. !

    Yes, thank you replied.

    Now I got it in c#, I used the "FileInfo" and "MoveTo" properties

    Affter all recorded the *.cod file in the same directory with javaloader, I call "MoveTo" to move all in my repertoire *.cod file (file made by myself).

    That's all

    Code:

    for (int j = 0; j)< dem;="">
    {
    String filename = list_modules. CheckedItems [j]. ToString();
    FileInfo info = new FileInfo (path1 + "\" + name + ".cod");
    info. MoveTo (path2 + folder_name + "\" + info.) Name ());

  • where is the COD file

    Hi as you can see from the title, I can't find the file .cod from the application of load on the real device.

    I use eclipse IDE version 3.5. All I can find in the folder of the workspace is .alx file in the following directory:

    C:\Users\***\workspace\HelloWorld\deliverables\Standard\

    I look at all the folder within the workspace directory and found nothing but the .class and .java files.

    How to create the .cod file?

    Construction of as much as I KNOW is simply compiling your project...

    But packaging and even debug your project the deployable project on the device...

    Now the project is deployable with the help of:

    . COD

    .alx files

    .jad

    .jar

    files... If these files are generated on the packaging or debug the project...

    One last thing, I would say, check your antivirus settings, maybe it is intended to prevent the creation of these executable files.

  • Cannot add properties of jad for the compatibility mode for the COD file metadata.

    Hi all.

    I need to disable the application that are installed compatibility mode using the ALX file. I read in an another messages it is possible to add custom file JAD directly properties in the COD file. I tried to create test projects using Blackberry JDE, Blackberry Eclipse plugin generation tools and use Eclipse with ant. Then I tried to add a JAD file for projects and by adding the following properties:

    RIM-TouchCompatibilityMode: false
    RIM-TouchCompatibilityMode-UserChangeable: true

    Also I tried specifying the properties of this:

    RIM-TouchCompatibilityMode: 0
    RIM-TouchCompatibilityMode-UserChangeable: 1

    But it seems that it does not help to automatically avoid compatibility mode for applications that are built using JDE4.2.1 or earlier. I ran the test on Storm 9530 camera with 5.0.0.32 8 preinstalled JDE. I also wipe my phone several times to avoid the capabilities that the compatibility mode settings is saved.

    In addition, before installing the application I also checked this jar file compatibility mode properties which was built contained in this manifesto.

    Please, anobody can advise which go bad. Or it seems that there is no possibility to implement the solution that are built with the JDE at first then 4.7 and are installed using the ALX file.

    I never could get this job.

    Sorry, don't know what the deal is.

  • JAD params of the reading of the JAD file that is changed after the cod file is built?

    Hello

    We have a requirement in which, you must change the jad file, after the cod file is generated.

    But when I try to do is not able to read the newly added params to MIDlet.getAppProperty() . He can read the jad attributes that were there in the jad file before creating the cod file.

    Example:

    existing JAD has "KeyA" whose value is "A." Now package for the project and generate the blah.cod file

    Add a parameter more "KeyNew" with the value "ValueNew.

    Print the source MIDlet.getAppProperty("KeyA") andMIDlet.getAppProperty("KeyNew")

    Step 1. Existing.jad

    KeyA: A.

    Step 2. Build the cod

    Step 3. Add another parameter to Existing.jad

    KeyA: A.

    KeyNew: ValueNew

    Step 4. Existing.jad of charge using javaloader.

    load Javaloader u Existing.jad

    Step 5. Run the application

    Actual output: it prints only a. and not ValueNew

    I read that this is possible in JDE 4.3 + and I'm working on JDE 5.0

    Help, please.

    ~ Joey

    Apparently it only works if we install the Jad with Javaloader file. Having an installation OTA of the Jad file works.

  • Why the .cod files change download to download?

    I do some tests on my BlackBerry (Bold 9700) of security and when I use JavaLoader.exe to download the .cod files I noticed that some of them will be different from download to download.

    For example if I do the following:

    > JavaLoader.exe save Sudoku_v46_480x360

    > cp Sudoku_v46_480x360.cod Sudoku_v46_480x360.cod.1

    > JavaLoader.exe save Sudoku_v46_480x360

    > diff Sudoku_v46_480x360.cod Sudoku_v46_480x360.cod.1

    The files will be different.  I compared the in a hex editor and the differences are small (single-byte) and coherent (0x07 in 0x77) in 10 places in the file.  They seem to be divided as wel.

    -What is JavaLoader.exe done or there at - it something on the device itself that constantly updates the application?

    Thanks for any idea!

    Never mind, just found out why this is happening.  Some of the .cod files (if there is more than 64 k I think) will decompose in a zip format and zip headers may be slightly different (last modified time may change) then the global .cod file will be binary different.

    Yes you are right.

  • How to decompile the *.cod file

    Hello!

    It might look like you a stupid question or kind of odd or even exceptional.

    But the lack of time available to us, I hope that one of you might be able to point me in the right direction.

    However, ist the problem/question I face in fact:

    We have a few files *.cod which one of our developers has written and compiled in cod-files.

    Now, it is not available for all of us and we need to modufy these files - it you just change the hardcoded IP addresses.

    We do not find the binaries, because none of us have access to its local workstation.

    Is there a way to decompile the *.cod file and so, HOW do I doi it?

    Cod files are for the 8110 and the BB Storm!

    I hope you mind or will not be bothered to help me!

    Best regards and many thanks in advance

    ciphercore

    Unfortunately you're practically no chance, the only 'real' decompilers for * .cod are flaky and when they work they spit of bytecode, not Java just so to change an address IP will be more than one test then you might think depending on the size of the application.

    In other words, you want to either try hard to find the person or his computer because otherwise a complete rewrite may be a better idea.

  • On a PC using Windows and Adobe Reader, I sent 10 PDF files in a zip file and each label of the PDF file with a number from 1 to 10, so that they appear in the order I want. Numbered 1 to 9 records fell in sequence automatically, but number 10

    This is my first time using this forum. I hope that my question made its appearance and that this space is to respond to the answers possible, but just in case, here's my question again:

    On a PC using Windows and Adobe Reader, I sent 10 PDF files in a zip file and each label of the PDF file with a number from 1 to 10, so that they appear in the order I want. Numbered 1 to 9 records fell in the sequence automatically, but the number 10 appears under the number 1 instead of below the number 9. I googled the problem, do not see addressed. I called Microsoft, and they said it's a matter of Adobe. If anyone can help I would be grateful.

    Thank you.

    Not an Adobe issue at all. If you want your files to a single digit (1-9) to appear before the 10, you must add a zero at the beginning.

  • can see us line numbers next to each step in the sequence file?

    Hello

    I have a file of sequence having 600 steps. I would like to know is there any option to the test to set number for each step in the sequence of line editor so that it is useful for the review.

    Example:

    1 Action1

    2 Action2

    ............

    600 Action600

    Kind regards

    Krishna

    Krishna,

    If you want just to know the index of a step, this information is displayed at the bottom of the sequence editor in the status bar.  It shows you how many steps there are in the sequence, how you have selected and the index of the selected steps.

    It is also possible to display the information in the view of the steps in a column, if you are ready to create a new column.  Follow the instructions in this KB to see how to create a new column:changing the properties of columns in the viewport of execution TestStand sequence editor.

    One of the types of columns is Index. Just set your column of this type and you'll see step index as shown below.

  • Installation of the cod files from a local file

    Is it possible to install a cod from a local source file?   I would like to install a cod/jad file or located on/SDCard/alx.

    Earl

    Read your cod file into memory as a byte array, then:

    byte[] cod = getCodHoweverYouWant(); int newHandle = CodeModuleManager.createNewModule(cod.length, cod, cod.length);

    if (newHandle == 0) {
        // Do something informative here    return;
    }

    int code = CodeModuleManager.saveNewModule(newHandle, true);

    'Code' to determine if the module has been registered properly (compare to one of the CodeModuleManager.CMM_* constants).

  • [SDK WebWorks for Mac] Could not load the COD file to the device

    I downloaded the latest version of the SDK of BlackBerry WebWorks for Smartphones (Mac version) to my laptop. I am able to zip/compilation/sign my application in a COD file. However, when I try to load the app on my BB device using javaloader, I get the following error: "error: file is not a valid Java code file.

    The version of WebWorks package manager: bbwp version 2.2.0.15
    The device is a BB Curve 9330 running version 6.0 (v6.0.0.524, platform 4.4.0.438)

    If this combination will allow me to deploy on the device? This combo generates a BB 7.0 application?
