  The web version of the App World is indeed a place to see the apps.  I think that this has been implemented to mitigate somewhat complaints people where they wanted to they could just browse the catalog of online via their computer applications (bigger screen, faster, etc.).  Of course, RIM has put it, so now we want more.

  I don't know what are the plans for the future of RIM for the web version, but for now, the only way you can download apps is via AppWorld on your phone.  I think that it is also partially AppWorld being able to communicate directly with your phone to determine the model number of your phone, PIN, etc.  You will notice that all applications for all devices currently on the web version, while the version you have on your phone displays the specific applications that are compatible for your phone.

  Welcome to the forums.

  Try not to have your device connected while you are looking for application and then when it asks that you connect your device, and then connect it via USB.

• BlackBerry smartphones, I've just downloaded the world Blackberry apps and I get a constant hourglass

  Since I downloaded the apps Blackberry world I was doing a constant hourglass. I tried to uninstall the program but and even after uninstalling, the hourglass stays on. Now my Blackberry 8330 is almost unusable. I do not receive E-mail now, it freezes constantly upward on me. Anyone know what I can do to restore it to where it was before the download?

  Thank you all for all your suggestions and ideas. Finally, I went on the site Web SprintPCS, my career and discovered that I had major updates that had not been updated. I did both in the order they came out and it fixed everything. Others that I lost everything in my calendar, everything works. No hourglass and everything seems to work a little faster. They were all the updates for my Blackberry Desktop Manager! Thank you all for all your help with my problem!

  I'm guetting very frustrated by this, I think I tried everything to get the app on my BB world, I'm very curious about this function and I want to get applcations so I can customize my BB my way, but it seems impossible to download App World on my BB.

  I've been on the site Web of BB and I sent an email to my email with the link to download the App World and the i have access through my BB browser, but then when I click on download it says my device/bowser is not compatible, so the download is impossible,.

  I tried to download on my PC using IE but againg the answer is the same, I have to use IE to download (which is ironic because I only use IE)

  I seriously need help because I got frustrated, I wonder if someone could help me here.

  Fix. Looks like it's the only thing that you need to access the App World. If you don't have a data plan then you can still download the applications individually. The App World just to find and isntalling a lot easier. Many applications now require however have a BlackBerry data plan in order to work.

  I just finished the blackberry 10 version of the same application - developed to support the blackberry 10 only unit. I don't want to support the previous version more. I want only supported blackberry 10 devices. I create the version of the app.

  #1: when you download your new version, alias "file Bundle, you will be able to select the operating system that is available for. For BB10, you simply choose "QNX". This will be only the BB10 target devices.

  #2: you still want to download the .bar file packed and the store signs.

  Hi I just bought a 9900 store. most likely, the phone is just modernized and no news. How ever, it is difficult to find a 9900 not more on the strong quiet. How ever, I already had a passport, but after 2 days, I bought the Passport I am a new job with a company offer. This company has Enterprise 7. So I need a phone with BB OS 7. so I bought the 9900. I use the same BB ID, but that must not have an invluence. I open the Blackberry world (on my 9900). It says I have to update the program. I can select put or close to level. So I use the upgrade. After that the program then change the web browser. After a ttime shor, a BB site is loaded and it says not found software. You have attempted to access a software downlad page that does not exist.
