  You are running Microsoft Security Essentials, AVG, Norton or McAfee? If you run one of those, she didn't have Defender. It's good, not bad.   Try to run a full scan with the Microsoft Safety Scanner to make sure that nothing is found.

  Try also to install the latest drivers from your computer manufacturer's website. If you have difficulty to locate the website of your computer manufacturer or the drivers on their page, please provide your computer brand and model in your next reply. If you have built your computer you need visit the site of the manufacturer of each piece of hardware to get the latest driver.

  Once the drivers have been installed, try to restart your computer, and then test to see if the same problem occurs.
