  There are several others that you can try (e.g., Handango, Handmark, BPlay, GetJAR and Mobihand). I found that there are very few applications that is exclusive to AppWorld. You can see the online catalogue and then look for other sources of supply, including quite often on the developer website.

  After the last night at the 5.0 OS upgrade (5.0.0.82 2, Bundle 1385, platform 5.2.0.76) I have a few problems. I hope someone can help. At random times that my BB will have a black set of the hands of the clock appear mid screen durning this time, I can not answer a call or reply to a text message. The black clock hands will remain in place for up to an hour which forces me to stop and remove the battery. This has happened several times in the last days of the DIF is not fixxed with the battery pull. Help, please.

  I just got a Blackberry 9000 "BOLD" of brand new out of the box of the AT & T store today. When I try to open a PDF from an email on the phone, he said. "This type of attachment cannot be seen on the device.

  Here's my own weird solution that has work for me if someone else has this problem.

  Power off, power.

  I've renamed the PDF file that I have emalied me to something simple like test.pdf > as fine opend.

  Then re-sent me a longer name PDF it was initially & then which seemed to open ok.

  Now I really like my "BOLD" even better.

  I had a contact with level 2 Support T-Mobile. They told me to download the latest firmware to the updatecenter of t-mobile (has not heard of so far), then install this software on a PC and install the MDS Runtime of this package to the devices.

  After the url of the download location, where I found the firmware:

  --> Download

  --> Installation for PC

  --> Start the Desktop Manager

  --> Connect Blackberry "BOLD"

  --> uninstall all the "fragments" of MDS duration of unit

  --> restart the Blackberry device

  --> Install MDS DURATION & MDS default Launcher (V 4.6.0.13)

  --> Restart device

  You're good...

  The "BOLD" today BBlackberry is a device registered and within seconds all of our MDS applications when pushed to the device and work perfectly.

  If your BB is still enabled on your business system, you must talk to your BES admins... they apply this block through BES IT policy.

  If you want to say that you are separate from your company and no longer use their services, then their BES admins does not correctly clean your device when they gave it to you. In this case, you need this:

  You must of course a full backup first, the instructions for which you can find in my auto-sig on this post. But when you restore, make sure you DON'T make a full restore... just do a selective restore of the databases you need (e.g., contacts, calendar, etc.), especially avoiding any database that have nothing to with politics COMPUTER, company, etc.. If you do not restore those, you find yourself right back where you are now, because who will dutifully restore politics to the TI back to your BB.

  Yesterday, my 9000 "BOLD" began to show that I had 1 unread email (the icon at the top of the main screen).  The e-mail tab folder EVERYTHING was not a red stars indicating unread messages and when I go to the email app and press U for unread I get the message "No Unread Messages in the list"

  Today I received emails 34 icon went to 35 unread, I opened all the 34 for today and the icon still shows 1 unread.  I also highlighted all the emails, them marked as read and then scored as reading and still the icon shows unread 1!

  I tried a battery pull to clear the icon but that did not work or the other.

  Please can someone advise how to clear this?

  Tips to clear the message unread... try them in the order.

  (you probably have a RECORDED message, unread).

  If you have a new icon rogue Message on your home screen, or a negative number (-1), one of these solutions could erase or reset:

  Try these options:
  The main Messages folder and select today's date, click on the menu button and then select Mark prior opened.
  * Hard Reset BlackBerry now ALT CAP (right Shift key) and DEL (or with the BlackBerry power, remove the battery and reinsert the battery)
  Messages > saved Messages
  Messages > view folders, check each folder (calls, SMS and MMS, and boxes, saved missed boxes, browser, phone logs etc.)
  * Scroll at the top of the folder, on the title menu, click or tap to MARK PRIOR OPEN date
  Change your theme and see if it persists and return to your desired theme. (Options > theme > select.)
  * Connect to Desktop Manager > backup/restore > advanced. On the right pane is the list of the data on your device. Scroll to the e-mail highlighted messages database, and then below, select TRANSPARENT. This will clear your system of all messages.
  * Clean and reload your OS.

  My bluetooth headset works fine with the feature my 9000 "BOLD" phone, but not with the GPS Navigator from AT & T. Y there a way to get the headphones to work with the GPS function? My trial period ends at the end of the week and I will probably cancel the GPS service unless I can make it work with Bluetooth.

  I connect AT & T Nav to my Bang Olufsen & EarSet2 by pressing the button alt then President ($), while EarSet2 is reduced to "BOLD".

  I can then use headphones to the "Speak It" address and also to hear the Nav will prompt you through the headset.

  Yes - I have BES.  Interesting however.  One of my users can reject his reminders on the BB and it always reminds him in Outlook.  I wonder about that is a new user... So I guess I'll have to test it and see if it rejects the reminder... If it always happens in its Outlook.
