BlackBerry App Google Play Services

I am trying to load an Android application downloaded from wink and he says it takes Google play Serveces to run, but there is no Services to play Google or Google game Snap.  Anyone know how I can get this app?

I wanted to just chime in case someone else stumbles across this thread

BlackBerry 10 does not support the Google Services to play (GPS) so all the apps sideloaded requiring GPS functions may not work.

Some third party options exist that can allow you to bypass the problem according to the post of @sdgardne& @John_Clarkof but BlackBerry may not help if you have problems using these apps - sorry!

  • How to defeat Google play Services taken in charge not error after conversion (reconditioning) apk for bar

    Hi guys,.

Recently I converted (reconditioned) our app Android to Blackberry App (apk-> bar) using their recommended tool. The conversion was done successfully with Code signing. But after installing the bar, resulting in the camera, it shows Google play Services not supported error. I understand that Google play Services is Android specific operating system and not be supported directly by BB. But our needs of the application needs of Google Services play to run background location API services.

After a little research had found an option to patch the APK file and remove game services coupled into that and then convert the striped apk / patched in bar file. Anyone can throw some light on this? Since I was looking for the apk to convert with the basic functionality (location Services) in the BB. Can it be replaced by similar location services, or something similar without changing the code? If Yes please let me know.

    Thanks in advance.

Nice, one of the few to actually get an answer here.

The only way to solve the problem, is to go into the source code of the application.  Find and delete all references to the Google Services play and/or include the services of alternatives (in rare cases, an alternative is available).  Keeping in mind, what specific BlackBerry will be * only * works on BlackBerry - so get ready to manage a separate version and the branch for your application goes forward.

In any case, after however many hours it forces you to rewrite all the code sections that are facilitated by the Services of Google - play you can then try and repackage and submit your application on BlackBerry.  Moreover, assuming that you take someone elses APK and reconditioning without permission - which represents about 75% of the APK for BAR conversions in BlackBerry World today - the only solution is something like that.

When you do that, you will have the privilege of working with the BlackBerry test team - who will probably reject your application a few dozen times for some reason, they may make up ("I've had them rejecting applications because a URL Pointant to http://appworld.blackberry.com ' has not used the name recommended for BlackBerry World - as Hello, it's not my URL to change).  But I digress from the topic, hope that helps.

  • Get error "this application does not work without Google play services"...!

    Hello

I use google maps in my application and be able to install the apk from file in the BB device. But after installation when launching the application, I get an error "this application does not work without Google play services.

How can I get google game services to the BlackBerry device.

    Kind regards

    NGO.

The BlackBerry Runtime for Android applications does not support Google Maps (or Google Services play). If your application uses Google Maps, there are two ways that you can support mapping in your application. One option is to replace the library card theGoogle with a WebView that integrates the web version of Google Maps.

For more information on this process, see using a WebView to view Google Maps.

Another option is to replace Google Maps with OpenStreetMap, which is a free card all over the world.

  • BlackBerry App Google Calendar app

So I downloaded the Google calendar from the Google game store app. So far most of the apps I downloaded from Google play appeared to work, with the exception of this one. It does not sync with my online calendar. It seems to say it wants to install game of Google services, but I did and it still does not see it. What I am doing wrong?

    Hello

Many many Google apps play simply do not work... Google is not "play nice" with BB. But for a Google Calendar, it is not necessary. BB10 can integrate natively with a Google via CalDav calendar.

Good luck and let us know!

    Hi @towngirl_04

Google + application to Services play from Google that is not supported by BlackBerry 10, so you cannot install the application on your device. As is the case the only recommendation I can make is to use the Google site + browser BlackBerry 10. Thank you!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Google Talk Service not enabled for this handheld on 9700

    Hi all

I downloaded the last Google Talk for the BB AppWorld. When I try to connect, gtalk a message Service not to this compatible handheld. I enabled BIS, internet and wap are disabled by the carrier (O2 CZ - the data on them are paid extra).

I tried to reinstall, get the service books, but nothing works for me.

    Any idea?

    Boris

Well... I found the resoultion on another page... It is in Czech http://www.blackberryweb.cz/?p=444 and follow the steps:

    1. backup your blackberry

    2. download the service book containing the gtalk http://www.blackberryweb.cz/?file_id=5

    3. in Blackberry Desktop Manager restore backup selectively from the file downloaded Service_Books.ipd

4 return to service your provider directories (if some of your e-mail accounts are missing)

    5. possibly restart your Blackberry

As O2 CZ guys told me that they will not support gtalk in the service books, this is only informal way how to get gtalk working with O2 CZ.

  • Apps of DPS in google play kiosks

What are the criteria to get your app in the google game kiosks?

Why is the magazine of node in the google booth plays and I know they use the dps to create their folios/apps? And our magazine is in the App Store? We tried to get answers and no one has them? Someone know about this?

Google plays booth is run by Google and it is not possible to present a DPS application to it. You must present your DPS title like a native app Google Play.

There is no point of sideloading the app as it requires 'Google play Services '.

I tried BBC Weather Channel app, worked on the side wind OK, when I clicked on the social links, the app reported to play Google services.

Then I downloaded google game services from crackberry.com, but unfortunately I got the same message everytime I run the android app in my passport that "your device isn't google games services. Contact the manufacturer. "

What will be the likely solution?

  • BlackBerry Passport cannot install google play in my passport through wink blackberry

    Hi all

I installed the snap on my BB Passport using the technique of lateral load. Now when I open the snap and try to download an app through it, I'm not able to.

When I click on download in front of app in the blink of an eye, either nothing happens or my phone comes out wink.

Did anyone else experienced a similar problem if yes could you help me to solve it.

I have the BB OS installed 10.3.1. And I live in India.

I had problems with the game of Google.  I talked to someone in support of BELL who is my ISP. After that they did some research they told me that it is most likely a security problem that will not allow Google games to run in the Passport. With me it installed but is not running.

My problem was that I wanted to install the service of BELL TV. The BlackBerry version will not install on the Passport. I have seen that settle the Android version.  I asked BELL to activate the service on the Passport. When I tried to run the TV service he told me that I need to play Google.  I managed to download and install Google Play. When I tried to launch the service of BELL TV software he couldn't recognize the operation since the game of Google.

I reminded BELL technical support. I was told I have to wait for the BELL TV update service to work on the Passport, because I can't make the Android version works. They took the service without charge since I have never used and cannot use it yet.

With my passport, I run a number of programs Android with no problems at all.  I installed the Android version of Waze, Google Maps, light meter, level Pro, Radio Tunes, Anti mosquito, Deluxe Moon and many others. These all great works.

I also have a Z30.  I installed all the same. I did it as close as possible to be a clone of my passport. The additional service only I have on the Z30 is the service of BELL TV.

Just to add... You can try to install it from a site called 1mobile for Android programs. 1Mobile will ask you to install their application. I installed their application in both of my phones and there is no problem with him. I have spoke to me with a tech support person 1Mobile to BlackBerry.    http://www.1Mobile.com/
