Spend most of your messages out of the Inbox, if you can and move the messages you want to record off deleted items, and sent items. Locate the OE message store and then close OE.
Tools | Options | Maintenance | Store folder will reveal the location of your Outlook Express files. Note the location and navigate on it in Explorer Windows or, copy and paste in start | Run.
In Windows XP, Win2K & Win2K3 the OE user files (DBX and WAB) are by default marked as hidden. To view these files in Windows Explorer, you must enable Show hidden files and folders under start | Control Panel | Folder Options icon | Opinion, or in Windows Explorer. Tools | Folder options | View.
With OE closed, find the Deleted Items.dbx and Sent Items.dbx files and delete them. New files will be created automatically when you open OE.
Compact all folders as described below.
To avoid this in the future:
Do not archive mail in the receipt or sent items box. Create your own user-defined folders and move messages you want to put in them. Empty the deleted items folder daily. Although the dbx files have a theoretical capacity of 2 GB, I recommend all a 300 MB max for less risk of corruption.
Information on the maximum size of the .dbx files that are used by Outlook Express:

Click Outlook Express at the top of the the folder tree so no folders are open. Then: File | Work offline (or double-click on work online in the status bar). File | Folder | Compact all folders. Don't touch anything until the compacting is completed.
Disable analysis in your e-mail anti-virus program. It is a redundant layer of protection that devours the processors and causes a multitude of problems such as time-outs and account setting changes. Your up-to-date A / V program will continue to protect you sufficiently. For more information, see:

After adding a new account, I can't delete emails from the Inbox for this account.
I just added a sixth account to my installation of Thunderbird. There was no problem in adding the account and I can send and receive emails without problem. However, I can't delete emails from the Inbox. What should I do to correct this?
OK, then compact Inbox:
Right click on Inbox - Compact
It is recommended that you enable automatic compaction. More information on the compaction in this article.
http://KB.mozillazine.org/Compacting_folders
I don't expect more problems with deleting messages after compaction.
If you still have problems, follow these instructions.

can I delete email on mac accounts and retain their remaining icloud?
can I delete email on mac accounts and retain their remaining icloud?
I'm looking forward clean my OSX and I wondered if I delete accounts on mac, along withh records, etc., do I still have access to them in Icloud. (I don't know which way the sync works)
Unless the e-mail accounts are based icloud. That is to say, they end in @icloud.com, then without removing the Mac not keep them in iCloud because they are not in first place.
You should always be able to access through their respective clients to Web Mail however.
If they are based iCloud.com, then Yes you can remove form Mac and they are accessible via http://icloud.com by logging into each account there.

In October, my Windows Mail simply stop allowing me to remove anything. I noticed it first in my Inbox, so I went to my "deleted items" empty to make (thinking that it was question) instead, but found that I could not delete individual emails or use the tool to empty folder. Windows Mail doesn't allow me to delete ALL emails from ANY folder, so now I need to access my emails on the internet, but it's a pain that my address book is in position.
I googled solutions and tried a few corrections people recommended when they are unable to remove files from a single folder. They don't solve anything. I thought corrupted program so I would update and downloaded Windows Live Mail hoping to fix it, but same problem remains.
Error message when you try to delete individual reading by e-mail: "Message could not be deleted." Error message when you exit the program: "certain elements in the"Deleted items"folder cannot be deleted. An error has occurred. "Nothing specific, but ANY element of ANY folder can be deleted.
Hello
I have disabled virus protection and were able to get into my box removed and delte the bad email. Thanks for the help

Z10 blackBerry can't compose email
I can respond to emails and compose other types of messages, but by pressing the icon "dial" for e-mail has no effect. He worked until very recently. Thank you.
The links are to threads on this site, and I do not control the content of these threads... you have to read carefully to see if someone has provided specific links to what version you need.
Two of these tools are not formally approved by BB somehow... therefore, technically, many discussions beyond what is already in these threads is not allowed on this site. But there are a lot of discussions and links available on a different site, no BB-sponsored (CrackBerry) exactly what you need.
Good luck!

BlackBerry Smartphones can not write emails, only not receive it?
My curve doesn't let me write emails... I can receive, but if I try to reply to an email I can choose the option 'answer', but then I don't have any ' send' button... If I try to send a new message, well, I can write it and send it, but then it comes back with a red...
Hello and welcome to the community!
I suggest the following, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come...) Please wait for this before moving on to the next step):

- Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.
I hope that will move things again for you! If not, then you should try remove and re-add your BIS lines for these accounts.
