  • BlackBerry Curve 8900 video smartphone transferred to PC, but not sound

I transferred my videos from my phone to my PC and the video is great, but there is no audio data. How can I fix it? I really want to be able to send the video to the family and it is of course too big to e-mail from the phone.

I tried to install VLC, but it didn't work that way either.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

    Thank you!

This AMR codec is designed for device sound rcording mobile. It was designed in the world, but due to licensing issues, the decoder isn't available on all regular players. I know that you can use Real Media Player or Apple QuickTime Player to get the sound.

Or you can try to convert the file. If I were you I try and upload the video to YouTube and see if youtube can handle the audio conversion. Then, it will be easier for you to share this video with friends and family.

  • BlackBerry Curve 8900 smartphones cannot transfer media from my computer

I have a Curve 8900 without SIM card I use strictly offline and via Wi - Fi. (No cell connection)

When I plug it into my computer with a USB cable, it syncs email, contacts and calendar with no problem at all.

However, when I try to transfer music, photos or videos to and from the BB, I get a message saying "there was a problem so he tried to connect with your smart phone BlackBerry." He then proposed the link "troubleshoot my connection.

If I go into the "Device Options" section of Desktop software, I can check the "Organizer" or boxes "my computer's date and time...» ' under 'Synchronize' but the 'Media' checkbox is grayed out and cannot be verified.

The phone does not have a memory card or SIM inside.  Do I need one or two of them?

How can I get this unit to connect correctly to the computer?

  • Smartphones to blackBerry Curve 8900, vibrations ring

    Hello

I'm using curve 8900 and I don't know what is wrong with it but I tried to put the profiles NORMAL to leave only the phone rings with tone and with no vibration but it still vibrates whenever the phone rings. Is it possible, this could be corrected?

Hmm... last thought would be to create a new profile and adjust your sounds here. See if that fixes the problem. When I got my BB 8900, I did the wizard of switch device, and for some reason any the phone remember my sounds for each of the 5 accounts email I put in place on the phone. To get around that I created a new sound profile. It worked and I did just that. When I install the new software for the phone came out, this sound problem disappeared.

Next option would be to re - install your BB software.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Blackberry Curve 8900 Media - music player

I'm totally frustrated of not being able to solve a problem with playback of music to my Blackberry Curve.

I copied and recopied approximately 2 GB of music four different moments of the curve.  I can play music from the cumbersome Menu > Explore > Media Card > Blackberry > music path (I have a memory card of 4 GB installed).  Which only allows you to listen to one song at a time, and you press the buttons about 5 just started the next song.

It just drives me crazy when I go to the menu music to enjoy the amazing features of curved IPOD type such as shuffle, Album, and song lists, nothing is there!  I ask Shuffle, and no song happens to all.  It must be a simple solution, but I can't lose all try more time to understand it... so far my efforts have resulted in NO progress.

I would be very grateful to get this little piece of advice to solve my problem.  I have Roxio Media Manager installed and just uploaded the 2 GB of music to the curve for the 4th time through Roxio.

Hi and welcome to the forums!

No data will be lost when you do the following: remove the battery while the device is activated.

Remplacer replace after one minute, let the device reboot 1-3 min, see if the problem is corrected.

  • Smartphones blackBerry Curve 8900 battery life

The life of the battery on my Curve 8900 seems to be getting worse. The phone is only 4 m. Need to recharge every day, but the use is minimal - used for texts and facebook + some downloaded items from the world of BB. I got disabling the wi - fi connection, but it seems to make no side. He started the busy day but is now only 12%!

    Someone at - it ideas?

To avoid the dead quickly on any BlackBerry, most important practice that you can adopt is to ensure CLOSE applications when you are finished using them.

If you simply press the Red "end call" key to return to the home screen application is actually open and running in the background. If you do this several times, you will have many apps open and therefore your memory will get used. Lack of memory is the main reason for your BlackBerry slows to a crawl or crashes. If you make a habit of actually use the menu button to close the applications that will at least slow this process memory-clogging. You may still do a battery pull or using the "Quickpull" app from time to time when things get slow.

Similarly, check your applications running in the background. There are four or five applications that will always run fluently (Messages, Call Logs/phone, BlackBerry Messenger, home screen and the browser; there are other third-party applications such as BeeJive and alerts of BlackBerry that will work also in the bottom that you can not close if you want they work). Ensure that the browser is NOT on an active Web page (open the browser and select the Menu > close). Close all other applications that do not need to be running (the camera or a game you were playing or Google Maps).

Here's some good advice from loading, please read and you will see that many of them will be applicable to you.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Google Maps no longer works for my Verizon Blackberry Curve 8330. What is the problem with Google?

For the last 11 months, Google Maps and Gmail have worked perfectly with my Blackberry Curve 8330 from Verizon. Tonight, all that has stopped working. I tried to load Google maps and failed. Kept getting the error "network unavailable, blah blah blah." I tried to restart the phone, remove and reinsert the battery, until I finally uninstalled Google Maps. Now when I point my browser (OperaMini) on m.google.com download and reinstall Google Maps, it says "Sorry the Google Maps application does not work on your 8330." It makes NO sense at all. Why Google would suddenly take for my phone? Is there a work around? Before you uninstall, I tried all sorts of tricks with permissions to edition without success.

In addition, Gmail refuses to check email, sometimes say that a data connection. Also, which makes NO sense as I have great reception phone.

My internet (OperaMini) and normal calls and texting capabilities are not affected.

In conclusion: ANY possible to get these Google Apps for reinstall and work on my phone? Or has Google me screwed over? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Thank you
    Hyun

As of about 3-16:00 hour, there was a failure generalized data RIM across the Americas.

That includes BIS for Google Maps and apps and email data. Dead in the water on the BlackBerry.

It will come back, be patient.

  • BlackBerry Curve 3900 3 smartphones

    Hello

Just got my new phone yesterday - BlackBerry Curve 3900 3 OS 6 with Orange contract - but arrived at a few problems already. Hope someone can help me

First of all, I have the wifi through my home broadband configuration, and works well. But sometimes he connects to the Internet via orange, I don't want to because I will pay on my Bill. Anyway, is specifically to make sure that I only use my wifi signal? Like turning off internet access completely orange to leave only my wifi at home?

Secondly, I can't access MSN messenger (the service is not enabled for this handset).  Also I can not connect to my NTL email accounts. (When I try to email facility, its asking me to enter my corporate account.) I don't have or need one, I just want to get into my home email accounts. But there is no option for this internet e-mail

I read somewhere that I may need to pay an additional amount of £5 to my service provider for internet access. But I don't want their internet, I have my own wifi. Of course, these problems can be solved somehow?

    Thank you very much

    Vince

The £5 bolt comes with a number of inclusive data, normally 500 MB - 1 GB, to use when out and about. Blackberry bolt also allows access to blackberry servers that provide the functions of mail electronics push
