BlackBerry ID on Simulator

I try to change my BBID on a simulator that I use to test and get an error message about trying to change. Is there some trick of withdrawal and reset the BBID?

You can copy files from virtual drive to a State not used. Restore them just to clean the unit.

    For all fans of Eclipse...

I installed the BlackBerry Curve 8530 Simulator, which can be run inside BlackBerry JDE, but impossible to make it appear as one of the options under device to the Eclipse IDE. The simulators that appear in Eclipse in run configuration are 9000, 9550, 9700. I just like being in the Eclipse IDE.

  • BlackBerry on mac simulator

I downloaded BlackBerry Simulator on my macbook. I tried to find the vmware player, but it is only available for windows and linux. Now how to start the Simulator on my macbook?

VMWare Player is not available for Mac, but VMWare Fusion is. You can download a free trial of VMWare Fusion.

  • BlackBerry 10 Dev Simulator Alpha uninstall?

I feel a little embarrassed to ask this, but how to uninstall the Blackberry 10 Dev Alpha Simulator under Windows? There seems to be no functionality uninstaller for it... Is it just a case of delete the VM files that have been copied to the C:\Users\Pete\Documents\Virtual Machines?

My laptop six year cannot run the virtual machine (no 3D acceleration support), so the Simulator is useless for me.

    Thank you

    Pete

    Hey Lester,

Bryce is correct in his response that the Dev Alpha Simulator installer will extract just the Simulator BlackBerry10Simulator-Installer-BB10_0_04 to your virtual computers folder. Delete your folder C:\Users\Pete\Documents\Virtual Machines will remove the installation of Simulator.

  • How do the error of debugging JSP page/Javascript on the Blackberry browser on Simulator

    Hi, expert,

at present, we are porting a web app (html5) from Iphone to Blackberry. It is written in JSP/javascript ajax in the backend. It is usually work the browser Blackberry 6.0 on a simulator. However, one of the page could be made, it shows just a blank page.

I've seen an error like this onscreen Simulator MDS - CS:

    <2011-09-05 11:57:37.822="" edt="">: [1172] :::
    d receipt for non-existent packages! 904265821 >
    <2011-09-05 11:57:37.854="" edt="">: [1175] :::
    G = invalid, DEVICEPIN:CONNECTIONID = 2100000 a: 1770114602, SEQUENCE = 1, information
tion = packet received for a connection timed out >

However, I have seen the error on other pages when they are displayed correctly. Not sure why we continue to see this error.

So, it could be a javascript error as well. Not sure at this stage. The page is written as a JSP page with javascript/ajax inside, which is the same as other pages that work. Very weird.

No idea how I could debug to this case?

Starting from the 7.0 you can use the web Inspector and in 5.0 you can debug using our tools, but in 6.0 you're stuck with more traditional methods such as the suggestion of chicoxmlof try/catch or alert statements

  • Generation of BlackBerry error make: * [Simulator-Debug] error 2

I'm new to the blackberry development. I use Blackberry 10.2 SDK with Momentics IDE. I get following error after every few generations. I noticed this build configuration by default with the deletions of project output file that causes this error. Restoration project output file solves the problem in the next generation. It's really embarrassing and I think I'm missing something obvious for the build configuration in the project. Can anyone suggest how to solve this problem of generation?

  • BlackBerry Pearl 9105 Simulator

I tried to download the two BlackBerry Pearl 9105 and BlackBerry Pearl 9100 simulators, but it seems that the two files are exactly the same.

    Am I missing something here?

Someone at - it different files?

Yes, it's an error on the main page of Simulator download - you can look at the source code of the page and see that they used the same exact download URL for both devices (download 9100). However if you click on the link view all downloads of BlackBerry Smartphone Simulator on the page, you can then select 5.0.0 OS then in this list, find the download for the 9105.

That said, I think there may be a problem with the Simulator 9105 because even after the installation of twice (to ensure that)-graphics keyboard seems to be spoiled.

I just realized you were testing the STORM.

    So, it's a little different.

    1 simulate - Blackberry - left-coast-to the top tile.

    2 goto Web page

3 menu - see the keyboard

    4. keep the! 123 button clicked until it displays a lock icon in the upper left corner

    5. click on 3? $4

This shows the source in the storm

  • BlackBerry Bold 9900 Simulator download is not complete

Try to get the Bold 9900 Simulator to download and to near 60megs it ends. It is supposed to be more than double that size. Run the downloaded file confirms that it is incomplete; the EXE file does not work and returns an error from media incomplete / damaged. I tried three times on different browsers and get the same result.

Don't know how to reach the attention of blackberry.

    Too bad. Worked today.

  • Impossible to debug as - > Blackberry in Eclipse Simulator

    Hello

I've implemented an application for some time using Eclipse 3.5 and Blackberry plugin version 1.1.2 without a lot of questions, but recently, I was stuck on this one:

Whenever I try to "Debug slot-> Blackberry Simulator ', Eclipse crashes at 31% saying"delegate launch. " This leaves me in a bad spot for my application debugging. However, I only peut 'run as-> Blackberry Simulator '.

I tried the new configurations debug with different simulators. I tried to re-intsalling the eclipse + blackberry plugin. I'm still stuck with the same question.

Can anyone share ideas they might have on it, or suggest how I could resolve this more?

    Thank you

    Jon

Apparently, it had something to do with the BBDevMgr process running. When I killed this process in windows Task Manager, Eclipse was able to start the Simulator in debug mode. All good now!

  • How to connect the port device series to the Blackberry without Martin Simulator

Is there a program that can interface with the Blackberry Simulator to connect to a device connected to the serial port of the computer to simulate a Bluetooth connection? I can't believe that Martin is the only way to do it. Martin offers a free demo version sort of their program? I searched everywhere but found no one. I don't need a bluetooth receiver real but just the software in order to supply data from serial port to the Simulator (and I guess that convince the Simulator data from serial port to a Bluetooth device). Thanks for any help that anyone can provide.

I'm not aware of any device that will help with this.

    Two suggestions:

    (a) you can write some sort of test, that will feed a data script as if it came from a Bluetooth device. I got it done in the past - it does not test the treatment of Bluetooth, but it allows you to drive the application program.

    (b) it is not really difficult to test on the device. Little painful to recompile and reload, but if you have a test drilling (a), then you are only testing the Bluetooth part, which you won't be able to test a connection series anyway.

However, I changed my code and treatment events throug global event listener.

  • BlackBerry Maps and Simulator

Hello! I develop an application that uses the maps... When I test in a simulator, an error is thown. I tried to use the Balckberry Maps app and it returns me the same error. I am using version 4 of the Simulator. How can I solve this problem?

I am trying to download a new Simulator, but because an error from the server the download stops before it finished. Is there a reason for this?

Maps of the sometimes bizarre acts in the Simulator. So the best option for you would be to test on a real device. Or download a different Simulator that you try now. Download of cuts if you use a network slow and sad to say that RIM does not offer a download links can be picked up at these simulators. That needs to be recovered as I try several time to download as simulators.

    BlackBerry JDE 5.0.0

    8110 Simulator is 4.5.0.81.

    Solved!

I used a generic Simulator. Installed by Vodafone one, and now I can surf the web from my blackberry Simulator.

Note: I noticed that with Blackberry 8900 generic Simulator I can surf the internet with the active wi - fi network.
