  I think that you are on the right track now.

  With regard to the 9900... Yes, carriers load their bundle of BONES for the BB, and they grow in the Service books specific to BB for the things they want to encourage their customers to use (for example, their specific map app, their specific App Store, etc.), but the base OS comes from the RIM.

  In addition, they may or may not have created a BB ID to this topic... with what we can see now and that you remember (or, more precisely, can't remember), we have no way of knowing for sure.

  All we know is that there is a BBID saved with this BB and, if you don't find the credentials for that, your only option will be clean and create a new ID from BB to use with this BB.

  NM I figured out, I have a generic data... plan wish black berries allow us all to access the app world

  I am trying to install an update to an app from appworld and I continue to have the old version installed not a new one.

  How can I work around this. BTW, it's a paid app, and the people who got to crackberry have not all wrong.

  I tried to install the app from appworld on my phone app. and it would just reinstall the version on the app that was there. There was an update of the application if you searched FRO the app themselves as the current version, but when I downloaded and tried to install it, it would install the previous version. Hense the post.  In the meantime, I went to appworld on my pc and pulled up to the app and it showed the correct version ther so I dl by using the QR Code the phone installed the old version AGAIN!  It was after several reboots uninstall install ect.  Well the last time I returned to my world on appworld on the phone and here when I clicked on the application, it has shown that an update is available for the version that I had just dl less than 5 min prior. The phone have not installed the new version, he installed former and placed the new in the updated Guide. I ran the update and everything is working normally.

  I've been a beta tester of this app, so I knew how to work the thing. Also I was in corenspondence with the proponent during all of this also. Being that I had also paid for it didn't help my mood when he wasn't working.

  So to summarize all is well in Mudville.

  I downloaded the new bbm on my phone but it will not be associated with my blackberry id, I did install and reinstall a million times and restart also whenever I get the same message, combining bbm on your blackberry ID, then it keeps loading but nothing comes! and I can not open the BBM to alll!   I actually ended up having to completely remove the bbm and re - install an older version. Here is the link I used. is one of the 6. verseions so not bbm voice but at least uve As bbm up to that LEDGE that bothers to solve the problem.

  My Appworld recently stop working.  I removed it, updates downloaded BB and download Appworld yet - still does not work.

  When I try to click on the links to Appworld I can't do on my phone.

  Hey guys. I installed Pocket mac on my macbook pro, but it will not sync with my storm. I installed the program with updates several times with the help of the other posts, but nothing seems to work. When I open the program, it does not recognize that I have my phone on. Yet, I am able to access the files on my phone from the finder. When I try to sync it gives me an error message saying "unable to connect to BlackBerry (error 1); jump. "Nobody knows how to solve this problem?   Well... I finally got to work after 6 hours. Laughing out loud. I made the mistake of amateur drag sync media in the trash rather than download it again to uninstall. Once I did, it worked fine.

  Well, you can try to bypass AppWorld... it is simply a portal and storefront for applications developed by others... so if you were looking for the application you want, you could just met a different window from which you could get.

• BlackBerry Smartphones countdown timer will not be reset (also published in Council 8220)

  I have put up with this problem for quite a while and starts to get really frustrated with it.  There are several topics that describe the 'why' is happening on other Blackberry (Storm 9530) devices but not how to fix it.  At least not how to solve this problem on a 8220.  They all mention the same symptoms, I'm having and related countdown of the number of "negative" (which does make any sense to me).  It was mentioned that the 744 hours is a turning point, and I agree.  I think it has to do with the idea that the timer was not supposed to go to more than 1 month/31 days/744 hours.

  Currently, my timer shows 00:00:00 if I reset, but if I hit the start, he goes to 743:59:59 and countdown starts.  If I try all 1 minute and 5 minutes or whatever it is I have the patience to test, again, it will count down to 0, and then roll immediately to 743:59:59.  If I add 99:00:00, it shows that on the countdown screen, and then if I try to change the time again he auto-remplit with 03:00 (it will still use the rest of I put in next so divided by 24 hours).  Another example, if I put 24:00:00, it will add 24 hours to the existing number (in hundreds) and the field will fill with all zeros again.  I can only reduce the time shown on the clock having a rest and then reset to 0.  Essentially, I can always get to show a multiple of 24 hours, but I'm just trying to set reminders of the laundry, etc...  It's ridiculous!

  (v4.6.0.180 platform 4.1.0.61) I've done a zillion battery tire since it started and I don't want to wipe all my applications...
