BlackBerry smartphone retrieve deleted files?

I think I accidentally deleted my "downloads" folder in my menu.  Now I have a facebook alert appears on my screen and I can not understand how to make it go away, and I guess that the key lies in the downloads folder.  is there anyway for me to get it back?

Wipe your device will erase all Outlook2003, contacts, preferences, etc., on your device.

Make a backup with Desktop Manager: I would recommend Desktop Manager, version 5, Service Pack 1, without the Media Manager. Download Desktop Manager here:

Frankly, I doubt that you do all this, but you probably just need to be more thorough in your search for the Facebook notification...

Open the Facebook application > check all tabs it for notifications (usually the second tab there).

If still nothing, go to options > advanced > applications and remove the FB application.

Then restart: with the BlackBerry device powered on, remove the battery a few seconds and then reinsert the battery to restart.

The notification should be now missing?

Then reload/install the Facebook app. Use the browser of your BlackBerry to access www.blackberry.com/facebook

    I suggest this thread:

It begins with a process to start properly and there is an exchange of views, and there is also a post (15) with links to earlier versions of the Software Desktop, if those who are needed. Note that this is not, by any means, guaranteed to work... but it worked to much to solve the problems they have.

    Good luck!

  • How to retrieve deleted files from sony cyber shot camera without having to download any software

I accidentally deleted my pictures of sony cyber shot camera... I want to restore their back, it's my favorite holiday photos, how to get hide them without downloading any software, can help anyone

Windows and MacOS don't come with the ability to restore deleted files. If you want to restore deleted files, you need to suppliment your computer with software that can do this. To get this kind of software on your computer, the simplest method is to download it. If you don't want to download it, perhaps you could ask a friend to download it for you and give it to you on a flash drive.

  • How to retrieve deleted files from a server?

I didn't know where to put this, especially so if someone could direct me to the correct forum, as well, that would be fantastic.

    Brief summary of the situation:

I work for a small business that keeps all our files very important (relevant to the management of the company) on an external server. Recently, we had a tragic accident with this server, I won't go into the details on. We have a backup to the server, but there are some very important files missing from the backup, which was were probably deleted.

Is it possible to recover the files from the backup server or originality? If so, how could we get all this?

The server is connected via ethernet, and backup is a 12 TB of LaCie 2big Thunderbolt 2 (RAID). Unfortunately, the backup has been disconnected and leaves his home of origin for our main computers, and I understand now that may have ruined our chances, but is it possible that we could recover the deleted or removed files?

(If this is useful at all, we use the iMacs running OS X El Capitan)

If the files were not saved, then no, you can't recover their backup.

In regard to retrieve them from the server itself, it is impossible to say that we have no idea of what past or what condition the disks used to store the actual data are in.

You can engage a data recovery service, which will cost some serious $$$, but if the data is really important, it's what you need to do.

  • BlackBerry smartphones BB deleting my SMS and call logs

Oh K my BB removes my SMS and calls to connect its own... a supp with this... He's never done before... Can anyone help

If the device is not enough free space, it will start to delete the call logs and emails in order to make room for the new. Check the free space by going to Options | Status and look at the number "no file". If it is close to 0, so that's why. A quick fix would be to remove the battery for 1 min and then after that the unit will start checks the number of free file again to see if it has increased. See the following ways in order to free up more memory on the camera article: http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB14320

  • BlackBerry smartphones copy PC files

I want to only copy the media files from my PC to my BlackBerry. I'm a bit hesitant because I use BES to load the software CD and retrieve messages from company of my mailbox exchange on the BB.  If I load the software could it affect my automatic receipt of Email?

Are you placing them on a memory card or just the memory of BlackBerry?

l is recommended to buy a microSD card to store your multimedia files, if you run out of memory on your device.

According to what your BlackBerry OS is tells you what size microSD card you can buy. You can check under Options | Topic (will appear as v4.xx.xxx). Look at the table on the following link to see what size you can get - http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB05461

On the BlackBerry, go to Options | Media Media Card recommended parameters are:

    Media card support: WE
    Encryption mode: NO
    Mass storage support: WE
Auto enable mass storage Mode when connected: YES

Mass storage mode allows your BlackBerry to act as an extra drive when it is connected to your PC. It will appear as an extra drive letter in Windows Explorer. So you can just drag/release the multimedia files on your memory card

  • BlackBerry Smartphones photos-deletion, transfer...

I understand that you can not delete several photos on BB BOLD 9650?

So so I'm trying to delete, and then on my laptop with a USB cable connection.  I opened "My Computer", but when you click on 'removable F drive' no pictures appear. Usually as soon as I insert anything in the media on my computer slot, Windows opens a box of media options. What Miss me? I am running OS 6 If that helps.

No device will work on a computer without the necessary drivers. Although MS and other OS makers include many pilots, they did not (TMK) anything especially for BBs. Accordingly, software installation is necessary so that the drivers are present and the PC can communicate with the BB.

I recommend that you only install the RIM desktop software:

And then turn on your BB mass storage Mode:

    • KB13564 How to enable or disable the mode on the smartphone, BlackBerry mass storage

Then, when you tie, you should be able to deal with your BB as any other USB drive.

    Good luck!
