BlackBerry Smartphones Blackberry 8330 - E-mail Delete discounts on Blackberry and computer at home

I currently have a Blackberry 8330, v4.5.0.186 (Platform 3.4.0.59).

I used to be asked to delete e-mails power off my blackberry and Windows Mail from my computer at home.  I think that after the update to Blackberry, this option was no longer available, which forces me to read emails on my Blackberry, then having to remove them from my home computer.

Does anyone know of a way I can restore this feature on my Blackberry?

Thanks in advance.

When you say "update BlackBerry' say you you updated the software or you updated the device from an older device?

When you open an email, scroll upward in the headers.  Next to "Receipt using" lists the e-mail address, or should I say unknown?

If it says 'unknown', you simply return your service books.

Go to the icon on your device which indicates the configuration of e-mail (manage Internet Email on some devices) and go to the configuration of your e-mail.  There is an option to "return the directories of service."

If it shows your email address then it is not bad to go and return service even when directories but then you will need to:

Go to Messages > Options > email reconciliation.

Choose the Message Service in question (there may be multiple ones if you have more than one e-mail address set up on top of the unit.

Then change ' remove the ' to 'ask '.

You can use the curve not BlackBerry Enterprise server. But you can use BlackBerry Internet Service and integrate professional email address via POP/IMAP/OWA and still continue to use BB. Your IT will know if they have access POP/IMAP/OWA.

  • Why blackBerry Smartphones emails showing again after deleting the account?

    Hi all

Just got my BB a few days ago and so far love it.

Question: once I have deleted my accounts on the computer messages, BB shows again the unread e-mails. How can I update the BB to match? I don't want to delete everything twice. My wireless sync is without doubt.

    Hello

Capacity of reconciliation between the BB and the mail server varies by electronic mail as directed this KB. According to what happens when you delete on 'the computer', these changes may or may not correspond to the e-mail service. You must first consider this as your e-mail service and BIS can reconcile (according to the linked KB). Then, make sure everything you do on 'the computer' replica on the server of email... after which BIS reconcile according to the KB.

For example, if your e-mail service is Windows Live Hotmail or MSN, so there is no reconciliation of items deleted from the server down to the BB no matter what you do otherwise. In addition, if you use Outlook as 'the computer' and is not reconciling the destruction on the server, so even if you use a different service, such destruction do not receive on the server, which means BIS cannot possibly replicate on for BB.

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones can send E-mails or change the default Services

    Hello

I have 2 email addresses on my BB Storm, a Comcast account and a job.  I have no problems when I try to answer an e-mail from work.  However, when I try to respond to an email from Comcast, I do not get an option "send", just "Save as draft" or many other options.  I read another thread who suggested I go into Options > Advanced Options > default Services.  When I'm here, these three areas, calendar (CICAL), list (SYNC) contacts and messaging (CMIME) are all set to "Desktop" when I try to pull it down, a black box appears on the word "desktop" and there seems to be no more options pull down.  Any suggestions?

    Hello! I'll jump in...

When you reply to an email from Comcast, your default value (of office) does not apply, since you're replying to Comcast. The default applies when you create a new piece of e-mail as the originator - it will default to send your default setting, you can override, by using the 'send' at the top of the screen, when you create the message).

But, since your Comcast seems to be mucked up somehow, you must (as also recommended), re - send service directories to try to get it straightened out. For me, the best way to send the books is to use your Web of BIS carrier site... If you do not know the URL, find it with this link:

    http://www.BlackBerryFAQ.com/index.php/Where_can_I_log_into_my_BIS_account%3F

If you have not used before, you will need to associate the Web site interface to your storm - and IMO that is more easily done on the storm... Settings > e-mail settings, create a username and a password (NOT a @BB e-mail account), then use these credentials to the site via a PC.

Once you're set up with the BIS Web site, you can manage all BIS configurations you have - and you will find a configuration option is to send the service directories.  What you will find also, is that to manage your BIS accounts via the site or the storm interface has the same result - if you change something in a single interface, it will reflect in the other... they actually control the same, simply via a different interface.

  • Removal of Smartphones blackBerry and reading the emails in Outlook not reflecting only not on Blackberry

I've set up by O2 of BIS and links to 3 email accounts.  They are all IMAP.  I start Outlook to connect to these accounts from my laptop.  Almost everything works perfectly.  Always receive emails for delivered to Outlook and Blackberry OK.  If I open an e-mail or delete it on Blackberry, then this is reflected in the accounts of e-mail OK.  All emails deleted on the Blackberry are displayed in a basket on my email account.  What does not work, it is when I delete or read an e-mail in Outlook.  This is reflected on the Blackberry and I have to manually read or delete messages on the subject.  All the settings for accounts on the Blackberry look good balance that is wireless enabled, the victories of the mailbox and delete on handheld and mailbox is enabled.  If I do a balance now, nothing happens, read and deleted messages are still on the Blackberry.

    Any ideas anyone?

  • Smartphones blackBerry and email roaming

I'm new to Blackberry and have set up my email to my handheld as it comes in my Inbox mailbox.

I'm soon going on foreign holidays and don't want my emails to push while I'm foreign because of the cost of roaming.

Does anyone know how can I activate pushing off the coast while I'm away?

Do you know if your on a BES (receipt of company e-mail on your device and your device is configured by your IT Department), or BIS (just receipt of personal e-mails)?

If your on a BES, then your IT Department can disable forwarding of e-mail on your account and then turn it back on when you get home. I believe you can also go into Messages. Options | E-mail settings and set the "Send Email to handheld".

If you use only BIS, you can enter in your BIS carrier site and go the section filters on your email account. You can then set the filter to not forward messages to your device.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones to Blackberry and very confused Newbie

Hello everyone.  My name is Mohamed and I am relatively new to the blackberry Pearl 8100.  I've done a few things with him, but I know the reputation of Blackberry and knows he can do MUCH more.  I just can't understand this.  First of all, I read the posts on this site ALL day but I get lost with the acronyms.  If someone could tell me it please their significance, I'd appreciate it. Then maybe I can find the answers to the following two questions:

    1. How can I get my outlook and my blackberry to work together?  Can I get my addresses from outlook to my Pearl?
    2. Why do I not take photos that are saved on my press card and save them in my phone n command to get the Destop Manager?
    3. I have the SAME problem as a gentleman named Xavier and his post, I have included in this message. "I have an interesting problem with my Blackberry Pearl (8130). Every morning when I wake up the phone are always frozen on the same screen. Nothing seems to work except by holding down the power button until it stops. The screen is white (white) except at the Summit he said "Voice Dialing" then just below that "address book scanning for entries...» "or something like that, then right below 0%. She's. Every morning I have to restart my phone which is obviously quite annoying. Can I turn off the voice dialing somehow? I do not use it all. Is this a common problem? Suggested corrections? "Thank you, Xavier.

I thought that mine is due to my bluetooth not turn off during the night and laying next to the Pearl, but once I turned it off and it continues I thought I was going crazy.  Also on my phone I can't hold the power button to get out, I have to disable the phone completely: out of the battery and the SIM card and then turn on the phone again when this happends.

Please, any help you guys can give me would be great.

    Thank you!

    You are welcome.

    BB = BlackBerry.

A multimedia card constantly scanning sometimes occurs after the upgrade of the unit to the 4.5 OS and in this case is probably not your problem. May be, however. You have a memory card in the device, if you do, remove a few days and see if the problem persists and we will resolve this to find out what the problem is.

OK, I am new to Blackberry and devices in general.   I had a Palm, but never really used.   Now, I have a Blackberry, I really want to learn how to get the most out of it.

In my Palm, she had a beautiful desktop app where I could add Notes, or memos or items to my calendar and then synchronize when it would move anywhere in my Palm.

The B; ackberry Desktop application does not seem to have that same out of the box user friendilyness.    So my question, what program to use, how total, all this together to get the most out of my Blackberry?

    Outlook?   Google Calendar?  Another program?

    Thanks for any suggestions!

The most transparent way is synchronization with Outlook, via the Desktop Manager.

Step 1 install Blackberry Desktop Manager Manager of
    http://NA.BlackBerry.com/eng/services/desktop/

    Step 2
Connect blackberry to your PC via a USB cable and let the blackberry device driver install. During the device driver installation is complete, it will warn 'material installed successfully' in your windows taskbar.

    Step 3
Run the Blackberry Desktop software and choose the option SYNCHRONIZE.

    Step 4
Now choose CONFIGURE and you can select the CONTACTS, CALENDAR, NOTES, and databases TASKS by clicking on the boxes next to each. After you select each item, it will ask you which application you want to synchronize with, there are OPPORTUNITIES for all.

    Step 5
Now click OK on all windows until you are on the main blackberry Desktop Manager screen. Click SYNCHRONIZE. Make sure that the SYNCHRONIZE ORGANIZER DATA checkbox is checked. Now, click SYNCHRONIZE NOW to start the synchronization.
