  I've been to access emails etc. of my Playbook via Blackberry Bridge connection to my flashlight.  Have now upgraded to a passport; Blackberry Bridge seems to connect at both ends, but at the end of passport he goes immediately to the lost connection - the Playbook still think that it is connected!  Has anyone seen this?  It is possible to access the emails on my Playbook?  If it cannot be done through BB, does anyone know how she can?

  If possible can you try to remove and configure your Tablet using BlackBerry Bridge application on your Passport?

  1. There is no access bridge apps or files at this time. The bridge is implemented as a secure area to access resources on a BlackBerry smartphone, and we do not know when (if ever) RIM provide APIs for these services. Currently, the bridge is very restrictive by design. For example, attachments are downloaded on the smartphone and the PlayBook user cannot open them unless the bridge connection is open. You can't even copy text from an application open and paste into an application non-pont. You need access to a web mail service to send emails of PlayBook.

  I suggest that you clear the cache of the AppWorld application:

  1. open the App World

  2. go to my world

  3. for the BB keyboard-oriented - hold down the ALT key and press on, in the sequence R, then S, then T

  3B. for touch screen only BBs - hold the num-lock (! 123 button) so that it hangs and then press on, in the sequence 3, then 4, then)

  4. If your BB locks after issuing clear cache, do a battery pull reboot

  5. return to the AppWorld. Connect to MyWorld (if there is one) and try again.

  I try to fill my Playbook to my "BOLD" and I have problems of resettlement of the bridge of Blackberry.  When I do the installation on my Playbook he gives me the bar code to analyze what I do successfully and it takes me to the Bridge software in Appworld but it shows "Uninstalled" and there is no way I can find to reinstall.

  Of my application, I navigate on the "/ BlackBerry" folder to access the bridge data. It works very well on most of the devices; except a few devices... and I don't know why!

  It seems to be a permission problem when the BES function is activated on the BlackBerry mobile.

  Beside, on these devices, the PlayBook screenshot feature seems locking when the bridge is enabled!

  Why? a solution to access bridge files?

  This is an expected on PlayBooks with BlackBerry Balancebehavior. What is happening is that companies who use BlackBerry Mobile merger are able to have secured lcoations so that they do not want users to share business data. Things like access to the files of applications 3rd party and copy and paste from one place to the other is disabled. Different legal entities are able to use different rules however and are able to deploy applications in their own tab App World.

  I am currently trying to write an application to scan UPC barcodes and return the number of barcodes. I use the BlackBerry Plugin for Eclipse and I have an example of a QR barcode scanner that has the following code for the bar code decoding:

  Well Yes, it's the way it is the BB10 - for now... Basically it just allows you to use the internet connection of your Q10 on your playbook and the remote control. No bridge link with your PIM functions yet.

  Well in this case, BlackBerry Smartphone will not create this hotspot for any other tablet.

  You can try to connect via Bluetooth, another thing, I doubt.

  Other wise for PlayBook, BlackBerry Smartphones have dedicated app called 'BlackBerry Bridge' to connect the Playbook.

  Try to download the 'BlackBerry Bridge' application on your device, maybe it works for your tablet.
