  • OS4.5 from blackBerry Smartphones and Docs to go

    I have updated my OS V4.5 on the BB site on my ATT 8310.  I thought that would make me Docs to go, but I can't.  I missed something?

    If it is not listed under Options | Advanced options | Applications read this KB article. You might just go through the Application Loader and manually box check to install the program

  • BlackBerry Desktop Manager Smartphones downgrades Docs to Go - Premium

    Hello: I have a problem with Desktop Manager downgrading Docs-to-Go - premium v1.007 to v1.006.053.  Dataviz which makes the Docs to Go says on their site that earlier versions of Office Mr. had this problem to downgrade but that BlackBerry had solved the problem with DM 4.7.  When I upgraded to 4.7 DM because the program would not downgrade Docs to Go, but recently when I tried to install the software on my BB Tour 9630 Desktop 4.7 M began downgrading Docs to Go Premium v1.007 to v1.006.053.   I've upgraded Deskitop M to 5.0 and it also downgrdes Docs to Go to the old version.   Anyone has an idea why M Desktop is without downgrading my Docs to go to and older version and how can I go to try to solve the problem?   Thanks: Jon

    Have you applied your package of peripheral carriers OS to your PC (at the top of DTM)? You can find that here:

    The device operating system package changes the DTM basic installation that is appropriate for your BB to your carrier... that would have some version of the ToGo applications that frees your carrier. If Yes, you may have to substitute the DTM installation by moving the files of cod for your version of ToGo in the operating system package install so that DTM will recognize your version of ToGo applications.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Google docs v skydrive

    Hello

    I am, after your review, what is the best to use with windows skydrive or Google docs pb

    I'm working on pc, and then save the docs and usage on the pb but don't know which would be the best option

    Hello: I use google docs but especially for office documents (IE computer at home)

    With mobile units, I tend to prefer and find the box (50GBfree) and dropbox (5 GB free for me) are good alternatives.
    I mainly use the drop-down list because it's built into my computer desk at home regarding updates to document in real time. See you soon.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Word doc Editor

    Is there a free program to put on my 8300 where I can create word document. I have docs to go, but it does allow me to create or modify.

    Let's try this one more time.

    You wrote:

    Just something, where I could (1) create a new word document directly on my phone (2) or change one already on my phone,

    (3) once home, transfer it to the PC.

    I wrote:

    Hello

    You can accomplish the same job with the basic edition of back outward.

    Create a directory on your card to press for documents. Through my computer

    Load your white fees, weekly assessment notes and background material.

    (1) you can then open the Docs to go retrieve named White, fill your everyday expenses.

    Then save the media card. (2) BY the 'daily' sense, you can modify the document.

    Alternatively, you can send the document, or (3) continue until you can transfer them to your PC.

    You do not have send to yourself.

    (3) another good tip, you can use, is to keep files synchronized with the old "Briefcase".

    in Windows. When you connect via USB, PC syncs with the doc directory media card.

    Let me know if you need info about this.

    Why would you not be able to use the leaves to go as an attachment? Size of the file?

    Thank you

    (3) you can use a PC for transfer of information between the PC and the media card.
    Basically you focus for the BB and PC USB. Don't use office
    Manager. Go to 'My Computer' on the PC and the BB will be displayed as a flash drive.
    Then you can "drag and drop" files on the BB.
    Use the following settings in the option of memory of the storm:

    Card support ON

    NONE encryption mode

    (Storm AND "BOLD" only) Media Transfer Protocol

    WE support mass storage

    Auto enable mass storage support when it is connected TO

    It is not clear what part?

  • PopupScreen with AnimatedGIFField

    I am creating a screen using the AnimatedGIFField class and progression custom by extending PopupScreen figure in the Blackberry docs.  The problem is that my screen does not display when I call the method that is supposed to display.

    Here is the code for the screen:

       RichTextField rtf;
        AnimatedGIFField agf;
       // GIFEncodedImage gei = (GIFEncodedImage) EncodedImage.getEncodedImageResource("ajaxloader.gif");
        String progress;

        // constructor for progressScreen
        progressScreen(String s)
        {
            super(new HorizontalFieldManager(), Field.NON_FOCUSABLE);
            int[] offset = new int[s.length()];
            byte[] attributes = new byte[s.length()-1];
            Font[] fonts = new Font[] {Font.getDefault().derive(Font.BOLD), Font.getDefault().derive(Font.PLAIN)};
            agf = new AnimatedGIFField(((GIFEncodedImage)GIFEncodedImage.getEncodedImageResource("resources/ajaxloader.gif")), Field.FIELD_RIGHT);
            rtf = new RichTextField(s, offset, attributes, fonts, Field.NON_FOCUSABLE);
            add(rtf);
            add(agf);
        }

    Here is the code for the method display:

    // behavior when displaying screen

        // method for displaying screen
        public void show()
        {
            UiApplication.getUiApplication().pushModalScreen(this);
        }

    I'm sure that I forgot something... one object or a sublayout(), but I cannot know what.

    I replaced the PopupScreen with a call to Status.show (String message, image bitmap Bitmap, int time) to check that it was a problem with my custom PopupScreen and not the surrounding code, and the Status.show () posted correctly.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    "You mean, like this?  Unfortunately, you're close, but still actually running on the event Thread.  'tril.run ();' executes the run method on the same Thread that you use.  What you wanted to write was:

    Tril.Start ();

    Give that a try, and you will start to notice the IllegalStateExceptions.

    "Wouldn't be too big for a dialogue?

    I don't know what you mean by that.

  • Push a second screen

    I tried searching the blackberry docs, but couldn't find much.

    I want to add a new screen when on my screen, a button is pressed and transmit information from screen 2 screen 1, but that's not important right now. I just want to get the 2nd screen working with some labels added to it.

    Since then, looks like that you learn just that I'll give you a few tips because it's pretty basic. You're going to need a combination of a FieldChangeListener, another class which extends the screen, and using UiApplication.getUiApplication () .pushScreen)

    If you experience problems, try to take a look at some of the samples that are included in the SDK download. Actually, that's a good thing to watch without worrying that they are great learning tools.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Transfering Microsoft Doc from my computer

    Hi all

    I need help to docs tranfer from my laptop to my blackberry for a quick reference. This option is available as I have tried several times and have been unsuccessful. It is harder because my BB when it is connected to my laptop does not appear as a disk as my old Blackjack would. I need help please.

    You have a card installed on your device? You must.

    Then enable storage of mass to Options > Media Card and then when linking your BB to the USB > PC, you should see a map of media such as a removable drive.

    To open the MS Word document, then DocumentsToGo on the device, loaded once you upgrade to OS 4.5.

    Until you upgrade your doc look an options is limited to Repligo or eOffice.

  • 4.5upgrade DOCS blackBerry smartphones

    I upgraded to 4.5 on my verizon 8330 and was a success! I now docstogo.  My question is, you can start a new document without goin premium?

    In fact, the way to start a new document is as follows:

    1. On your computer, right-click on your desktop and select New--> Word Document.  Repeat with the new Excel document.  If you REALLY think you're going to create a slide show, PowerPoint on your BlackBerry, you better open PowerPoint and use a template to create a new Powerpoint document.
    2. Connect your BlackBerry to your computer in mass storage mode so that your SD card appears as a removable drive.
    3. On the removable drive, in the BlackBerry\documents folder and create a folder called ! New (the! at the beginning of the directory name will ensure that it is always the first folder listed.)
    4. Copy the new Word Document.doc, New Excel Document.xls and New PowerPoint.ppt files in the BlackBerry\documents\ ! New file.

    Now, if you need create a new document from scratch, go to the multimedia application, then click the [Menu] button and select Explorer.  Go to the BlackBerry\documents\ of ! New folder on your SD card, highlight the blank document, you want to create, click on the [Menu] button and select copy and copy it to the BlackBerry\documents\ ! New file.  Rename the new file in the folder documents all that you need.

    Now launch the documentation appropriate to Go app and open the new empty file!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Docs for editing through Docs to Go

    I have a "BOLD" and I currently struggle to change a Word document to aid the preload Documents to Go.  I understand that the Premium edition offers more, but having said that, how edit you a Word attachment in an e-mail by using the pre-loaded application?  You have to save it on a memory card, or can just change you it via the Blackberry?  Also, if I decide to upgrade to Premium, do I still need a memory card to use Docs to Go?

    Thank you in advance.

    Hi and welcome to the forums,

    When I get an email attachment in Word/Excel, I highlight (do not click) attachment and the menu button,.

    attachment download option, it gives then the option view or edit with Dataviz. Times

    You get in datviz you can edit it and send or save on press card.

    I always suggest the media card. All the files stored in the memory of the device retains this memory "static."

    reducing the amount used to serve the functions of the phone. I have not used the

    Advanced features of documents to Go Premium edition, so I don't know who.
