  I think having lost or deleted by Docs icon go.  Docs to Go appear on my list of applications being installed, but I can't find it on my homescreen.  Any ideas for what to do?  Thank you.

  Check if the icon has been hidden. In the application page, press the menu/blackberry button and select 'show all '.

  Also try a battery pull:
  1. remove the battery while the phone is turned on
  2. wait a few seconds before inserting it again
  3. wait for the long end of the boot process (takes a few minutes usually)

  This clears most of the software problems that occur on the BlackBerry from time to time. You can also use Quickpull, a free application that simulates a battery pull without removing the battery: http://software.crackberry.com/product.asp?id=27660
  A battery pull gets lost when using the applications memory and clears minor software errors that creep over time. The blackberry is running an operating system just like your PC is running windows and battery pull is the equivalent of a reboot / restart your computer.

  If this fails, you may accidentally deleted the file. I suggest that you remove Documents to Go in the list of applications in the phone and then install again by using the Blackberry Desktop Manager: http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB15172

  The only real option at this stage is DynoPlex eOffice. I used it and I didn't like the interface, but your experience may vary.

  In June (I think) DataViz is about to release their application DocumentsToGo. Screenshots, it seems, to me, to be a better offer.

  in JDE - Debug - attach to-Pocket
  ignore all dialog boxes
  do the breakpoint

  I am a Sri Lanakan. Last week, I bought a Blackberry Storm2 9550 used, eBay (from a seller of e. u.). All the functions work fine except the touch screen. Can press on the touchscreen. (edges and around the screen) But he get caught suddenly, and also when am pressing an icon, phone highlights another icon. (as axample, when am pressing contacts in the home screen, phone highlights two contacts and sms). As I suppose, at this time there the phone detects it as multi touch and so I can't support what either. When am reset (battery pull) the phone, it solves the issue for a few minutes or hours, subsequently faced the same question.

  I tried to fix it by putting a piece of paper to the battery cavity, but nothing has changed.

  My storm is an unlocked phone (Comes to Verizon, but later unblocked), which is running version 5 software. ...... . 713 fact in Mexico 5.

  None of these remedies could work. Without practice, it is impossible for me to know anything 100%. The best advice I can give you is to upgrade your operating system to the latest version (. 1015).   The other appears only if your carrier has eliminated an update wireless for you. You say that it is the "best way" for you... I would add that this is the MOST DANGEROUS way. You see, via this method update, on the device of data backup is taken, that is rendered after the update (the update effectively wipe everything). This backup is a file use 1... If something is wrong in the upgrade process, all your data is lost forever. The update method that I gave you is the best method that 1) it tells you first take a manual backup and 2) the process itself will also take another backup... and both of these backup files are stored on your PC and can later serve as a source of food since they are not 1-use files.

  I'm trying to use Facebook on my mobile phone and be able to 'check in', as they call it.  Basically means that when I post will give my nearest location for example.  My phone tells me it can't because... "location service is disabled. Please activate in the Options of the terminal, location Services,"I studied all that I know not how, and no where have I found something on location Services.   Anyone know what this means and how I turn it on?  Thank you!!

  I tried to open the word.doc.file on here today but kept this message telling me to file system of resources.
  I saw it once before and has started to remove a large number of my messages through my BBEmail folder and it seemed to work.
  Am currently student and not around a PC or laptop and my BB has done wonders for my life.
  Don't know what to do when I'm apparently not as he moves after having erased so many messengers.

  I can not remove masses of unwanted in one mail, nor is tell a version phone Hardrive cleaner and Defragmenter.

  I hope someone can direct me as to what I could do so I can resume my studies

  I had this happen several times in the past. One of the resolutions below usually works for me.

  Resolution 1

  1. Close all open applications that can access the memory card or device of the media (such as photos, music, videos)
  2. Test again to see if you can open the file

  Resolution 2
  

  1. Reset the BlackBerry smartphone by removing the battery for 30 seconds
  2. Test again to see if you can open the file

  Ah... Ok... Manually... and I think this goes for 3rd party applications as well. DTM backup databases of Basic... see this KB:

  What I do is to maintain a list of 3rd party apps I have installed on my BB. Because I'm "attention to detail", I still maintain this list of things that I got via AppWorld or other sources that maintain their own list of what I have bought/installed. I also maintain a manual backup to my PC which is on my map of media - now it's easy since it is simply my entire library of music, videos, and only a few documents of any type. But your use may vary.
