  I just read what wrote J Sanders and my experience has been just the opposite. I'm trading my tours in the storms. My brother loves her and he uses every day. My question is, I down loaded the Blackberry Desktop Manager and have used it on the Tour, and I wonder if I need to down load another Manager or if I can use the one I have?

  Well, there would be two installation steps. The premiera to DTM and a second install the device operating system package. In Add or remove programs from the PC, there will be something for the device software - mine says "BlackBerry Device Software v4.7.0 for BlackBerry 9530 smartphone"...   You just need to be connected to an administrator account to install the Windows updates.

  You can check if you are in an administrator account by trying taks simple administrattor. For example. Try to change the time system.

  If you can change the time, you are an administrator; no other.

  Are their accounts 'Administrator' or 'Standard' user level?

  If they are directors of the machine, and then create a new Admin account (only you know the password) and then lower their Standard user accounts. If they attempt to install programs now it should be prompted to enter the Admin password that they won't.
