• Smartphones blackBerry 8220 - Bluetooth will not enable

  Hey guys, I got my BB Pearl Flip for a few months now. It works great and I really like it. But recently, I encountered a problem that I can't find an answer to.  I use my BB as my MP3 via a bluetooth headset.  Recently I was not able to activate bluetooth on my phone, that leaves me without tunes.

  When I go to "Manage connections", Bluetooth has a red X.  So I highlight it and click on my ball and it greys out with a check for a few seconds, then comes back just to have a red X without a message.

  When I go to "Set up Bluetooth" I said to listen or research, which automatically sends me to "Activation of Bluetooth."... "After a few seconds, this message simply disappears and the header remains on" Bluetooth: Disabled "with the rest of the blank white screen.  By clicking on options and will "Turn on Bluetooth" do nothing.  No message or error reports.

  By clicking on "Options Bluetooth" sent me to a blank white screen with a header saying "Bluetooth: Disabled.  Go into options and clicking on "Turn on the Bluetooth" do nothing (no error, no sign that anything that has happened).

  I tried to read these forums, but I can't find anything like it.  I tried pulling my battery while the phone was on, and it did reboot and do this thing of reloading.  However bluetooth still gives me problems.

  I usually leave bluetooth enabled on my phone at all times.  I just charge my battery more often.  Recently I turned off bluetooth because I needed more battery and did not have my headphones for a few days.  Now I just can't turn it back on.

  If anyone knows what I can do to get my musical God bluetooth back, I would be very grateful.

  I took my carrier and they called support of BB.  After doing exactly what that you guys told me to do, they decided my phone needed to be replaced.  I guess that my bluetooth just left falling component and the phone has no message for this error.

  So the solution would be to take your phone and have it checked.  Chances are you need a new.

• BlackBerry Smartphones sync will not sync all calendar items

  Everything worked fine until a few days ago, well I noticed it this morning.  My Outlook calendar has NOTHING of my future appointments. I don't know how or why they were deleted. Appointments are on my Black Berry Torch schedule, but they will not synchronize.

  I tested with sync settings trying to force synchronization.

  I changed the default calendar account.

  I tried all the files suggested troubleshooting assistance.

  Here's the strange thing... If I create a new appointment in outlook, or on my phone they synchronize correctly.  But the appointments that has disappeared from my computer will not synchronize.

  What I did, however, set is: I don't know what fixed!   I took the black berries on another computer I rarely ever synchronize with just to see what would happen. All data, including mysterious calendar synchronized (leaked?) correctly entries.  OK, so I've narrowed the problem to my laptop (which is the computer that I had the problem with when you posted this thread).

  So I took the blackberry to my laptop, logged, sank and nothing, the calendar, same question.  Then I hit reset in the desktop software and tried to sink again, and it worked as if by magic.  So I guess that reset solved the problem.   Everything from the phone, including mystery calendar entries are now synchronized.  I guess I should have tried the obvious earlier instead of trying all of these advanced settings.   For starters, do a battery pull reboot and try to send a new one. Seemingly in trouble of many little glitches.

• BlackBerry Smartphones BBDM will not let me choose Bluetooth

  My laptop and 8330 managed to pair with their respective bluetooth dialogues, but the Desktop Manager still won't let me same Select Bluetooth.

  I have v.4.5.0.15 of Desktop Manager on Windows XP (SP3).  Once I pair the two and that the BB starts flashing blue, I go to DM and select Options-> connection options.  I want to check the box "Turn on Bluetooth support" but it is grayed out, with everything else in the part 'Bluetooth options' dialogue.

  Why he doesn't know that I have a bluetooth adapter?  How do I fix that?

  All I had to do was change the Microsoft Stack .inf file, inserting the ID, I found using the technique described by the end of this post and it installed fine and works perfectly now.

  I have the Blackberry Bold 9700 and problem with Bluetooth. The phone is not able to find a new Bluetooth device but is capable of associating other device when asked.   I got wind of phone from the France. They changed who thye contracted in France. Wind is a small utility that they use to do the reset on their Sim Card. They walked me through the steps and then it worked.

• BlackBerry Smartphones USB will not properly connect 8800

  I can no longer connect via a USB port to Blackberry Desktop Manager. Although the connected device (PIN) shows correctly I can no longer synchronize or backup/restore etc. The 8800 is charging through the USB OK too. I tried different PCs and different USB cables. Is there a setting on the Blackberry I inadvertently changed maybe?

  Remove the battery and restart the BB. Leave it works for the battery pull.

  For the USB cable...

  Make sure that your USB cable is connected to one of the main rear USB ports of the PC. A USB hub, or USB Monitor port not a USB port on the front of the PC.
