BlackBerry Smartphones calling Indication - change country

Hello

I need help here.

I work in the Philippines (+ 63 country code) while I'm from Malaysia (+ 60). I've saved my contacts include the country code to easily call and send TEXT messages when I'm abroad. 2 weeks ago, when I go back to Malaysia, I replace my card SIM Philippines to my Malaysian simcard. Someone in my telephone contact, there will be only contact number appears without the name, although it is confirmed that they are in my contact list. When I try to recalled that the call record number, it automatically adds the area code of the Philippines (+ 63) where it is supposed to be the country of Malaysia (+ 60) code because I am in Malaysia. Every time, when I need to call someone, I will need to get my contact number and cannot call via the number stored in the appeal record. Otherwise, I should enter the number again.

Can anyone advice what should I do?

Thank you.

1 make sure that you set your own country code (and you may need to change it every time you change the SIM card in another country) to the Dialer phone screen > Options > smart dialing.
Set your country Code in this format: "+ xx" where xx = country code. Some countries have two or three-digit country Codes. Do not place not the '+' in the entrance of your contact.
* In the United States, the value of this country as '+ 1' Code and place your code in the appropriate box (this normally the default setting in a new BB).

2. in the same place, change the length of National number for the number of digits corresponding to your country (since some countries have less than 10 as that set by default in the BB). Check out the total numbers, less country code. Do not place not the '+' in the entrance of your contact.
* For example, some countries have a total number to 8 (more than 3 for the country code). You must enter '8 '.

  • BlackBerry smartphone how to change the order of messages?

(also known as the, the problem that has led to a lot of my colleagues to swithc for android or iPhone).

I get several e-mails a day; When I click on the 'messages' folder I would like that for the last message or event (for example a text sms or a phone call) being the first, instead of my Blackberry insist to show messages that have several days, forcing me to slide from page to page to get to the top.  It is very annoying and a big pain - there must be a way to change this so I can get my most recent message first... Please help or I'm connected iPhone.

Using of your hold it down for the suggestion, I found the solution - it is not pushed in the date line, but rather hold 'up' you click to move the page to another - the key down down goes to the oldest.

  • BlackBerry Smartphone calls go directly to voicemail when Im listening to mp3 player with headphones.

I was under the impression that if I was listening to my media player on my Blackberry 8120 with a listener that accompanies it, I'd be interrupted if someone called. I tested this the other day and my call went straight to voicemail. Is there a setting that will change that? I checked everywhere I knew to check on the phone and could not get what it is.

Also, not that it is important that much but my phone cell led flashes 3 different colors. Red, green and blue. I have no idea what the difference is, can anyone help with a knot of blackberry?

    Thank you
    Jason

What your device profile is configured on?

For the second question, the device flashes red if there is an unread message or notification; is green when there is an active network connection; and blue is then a bluetooth device is connected.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones call display

Hi guys, I av the bb Curve 8310. How can I change the display of the appellant to show just the name of the caller (without the appellant fon #) Please?

This option is not there in BlackBerry. We have to live with it. However, you can get some 3rd party applications to do the trick for you.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Can I change the SIM (same network)

    Hello

I recorded my blackberry and it's all running, just to put a spoke in the wheels (so to speak)

My ISP gave me much about Sim Cards I had previously used includes blackberry

The case is absolutely great, but this means I have to change the sim card in my Blackberry Curve 9320

Of course, you think why didn't they give me the same thing about the new SIM in the Blackberry at the moment

It is a little too stretched to enter here

I was wondering if this is going to be difficult to implement, or if in fact I'd be able to do

I am far perfect when it comes to geek stuff, but I'm not totally incapable, given some indications

So I guess I need to know if I can change the SIM... same network, different number and that it would be that I have to go throu all registration again

Thanks in advance... any info appreciated

Change of sim card is very easy, your carrier for most will help you to transfer your data from the old to the new SIM free sim.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones caller ID not working not not on Curve 9300

When I get a call from someone in my contacts list, only the phone number appears on my screen.  I loaded these bad contacts?  Y at - it a configuration option I can change to make it work properly the caller ID?

It could be one of the four solutions... Try these:
    1. make sure that you set your own code to the Dialer phone screen > Options > smart dialing.

    3. you probably have "Content Protection" located on your address book.
OS5 devices: look at the Options > Security > General settings. Scroll down to the content Protection > include addresses = no
OS6/7 devices: Home screen > Options > device > Security > encryption > uncheck encrypt.

    4. go to Options on your device > Security Options > encryption > include contacts the value 'No '.

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not change the electronic signature with the Blackberry Internet Service on Orange

You're BIS correct is the Blackberry Internet service.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones AT & T, change the terms for profit

I got my last Bill of AT & T.  In "BOLD" printed on the first page was of this view:

"It takes a data plan eligible for Smartphones (including the iPhone and Blackberry PDA devices) by AT & T Wireless rate plan terms and data Wireless Service terms and Conditions to: www.wireless.att.com/cell-phone-service/legal/plan-terms.jsp .

If you use a Smartphone without an eligible data plan, AT & T reserves the right to add an eligible data plan to your account and bill you the appropriate monthly fee. »

When I went through all the trouble to get this BlackBerry as my last update, there is no mention of this policy.  If you look at this document, he displays a date after July 31, 2009, you will also be charged a lot more for intermittent use of their services, such as text messaging, etc...  I hope someone with some legal connections can get a class action against AT & T for their disappointment!  If Yes, please include me.

    Hello

I don't think that this has nothing to do with the BlackBerry, the new terms of service are applicable to any smartphone. That's why I think that you are not in the best place to find other AT & T subscribers. If I were you, I would go on AT & T forums.

That being said, AT & T has the right to change the terms of Service (it is written somewhere in the terms of Service) and you have the right to cancel your subscription without having to pay cancellation fees, you should check your contract to see what time.

Looks like you have removed access to BlackBerry data in your downgrade.

I suggest you call your mobile to the top and knowledge services provider if new BLACKBERRY data plan, as any generic plan will not work on a BlackBerry.
