  I need help, pleeease!

  Somethng arrived at my BB contacts.  I sync via USB to Lotus Notes.  I noticed that recently, it only sync some contacts (the rest remaining on my BB).  After hours of research, it seems that I have 2 desktops on my BB; only one that syncs.  Can I have both for synchronization of batch to Lotus or (b) move the contacts on the BB from one to the other?

• Entries calendar blackBerry Smartphones double after 8700 to 8300 devices

  I now of calendar on my Curve 8300 duplicate entries after making an initial synchronization with MS Outlook (2007 on Windows XP).  A set of entries came from the calendar Outlook and the other the old device (8700) - two sets are identical to each other. The Outlook calendar do not have this problem of duplicates.  And subsequent synchronizations do not duplicate on the device calendar entries generate.

  The 8700 was on TMobile and the new 8300 is on Verizon.   I used the wizard of BB Desktop Switch devices (version 4.7). There is even a record of e-mail with the address @tmo.blackberry.net on that, in addition to the e-mail folder @vzw.blackberry.net.   Configuration of e-mail does not display @tmo.blackberry.net (no way for me to remove the tmo folder).

  Is there a way to remove the duplicate on the device entries worldwide?   Or should I re-format the 8300 and then move all the data on the device via synchronization of Outlook?  If so, how can I reformat the 8300 (an exaggeration here?).

  I just realized I should have selected (Outlook to device) one-way synchronization (instead of two ways) when first syncing to the device after the switch of the device.     So I did a hard reset and does the one-way synchronization during the first synchronization.  It worked like a charm - that isn't duplicates!

  We just had at the company and now I have 2 and 3 entries in the calendar. Before that when I sync'd via the Desktop Manager I had 2 inputs (sync was through a USB port). A way to elimenate. I tried selecting a calendar to be 'selected' but there is not.

  I followed the instructions provided by a Member here (I tried clicking Bravo, but it doesn't seem to work here are the instructions...)

  -Synchronize the device with Outlook

  2 remove duplicates in Outlook (is easier than in unit)

  3. open the Desktop Manager on your PC.

  4. open Backup/Restore > advanced.
  5. in Advanced, you will see a split pane screen. Left pain is what happens to save on your device and the right is a list of the existing databases.
  6 - Highlight on the right side your address book database and click on the arrow in the Middle pointing to the left. This will copy the information on and prepare it for the backup.

  7 - once the backup is complete, click the button Clear down to clear and clean all the address book database.
  8. once it is finished, it will ask you if you want to save the backup, you have created, say Yes and check the device to ensure that the address book was properly empty. Now, Resync the necessary contact details and you should be set to go.

  However - after having done that, I got all my contacts. Then I unplugged my computer to my camera and went out. Well, I went to look for a number and it was not "here. An hour later, he WAS there. Then the bb seems to be something about treatment and all of a sudden I'm in every sense duplicate entries.  It's almost as if it maintains the synchronization time and again. Help, please!

  I have so far not had no more appointments in doubles. That's what I did: it is possible to have multiple calendars on the storm, each connected to a different e-mail address and color, I don't know how it happened in my case because my Outlook uses only one. I worked on I had 2 types of duplicate appointments: one where nominations were the same color and came from the same e-mail address/calendar and the second where the appointments were the same, but in a different color and so representing a different calendar duplicate. The menu in the calendar app button and selecting 'Select calendar' will identify which email address. However, this setting is not permanent, it will only modify the current view. Select 'Options' will display only the addresses, help rather than solve it (and you can change the color by clicking on the email...). But go in the BlackBerry Options in "Advanced Options", then "default Services" allow to specify what email address to use for the calendar under "set calendar (CICAL). I also put the order of the day to the same e-mail address: "Messaging (CMIME). I only deleted all appointments in double individually by hand, to avoid a complete sweap. Has worked so far. I hope it's useful...

  Well, since nobody has helped us out, I accidentally thought to it. You must uninstall and reinstall the operating system. I uninstalled everything, including the DM, then installed 4.5. Thinking that I forgot to delete a file, I actually downgraded and screwed to the top of the phone. So, I deleted all new and reinstalled 4.5 and updated without him restore my backup file. Then when I did the installation, I had to make sure to check the option "Spanish entry". I'm not positive how to do it without the upgrade/downgrade, so the best thing would be to seek the uninstall/reinstall OS forum. But, if you plan to back up everything, make sure that you check the options (as it was when I accidentally deleted the language). Make sure that you check it when you do the install, too, if not, of course, it will remove the language once again.

  I just got my BB9530 and am trying to understand how to make entries to addresses and calendar on my computer and synchronize it then on the phone.  I installed the Driver and the BB Desktop software.  I don't know where to go for registration.  Is it still possible?  So, I thought it would be as my Palm, where I would like to 'click' on the address book tab and I would be able to go home.

  I'm not the person the tech saavy, but I know enough to get.  I'm at a point of great frustration, so the logic seems to be lost and I become very non-functional.

  You'll need a program to allow you to add and store entries (for example Outlook) - in contrast to palm desktop that has a built-in program - BB Desktop Manager is purely for the ability to synchronize the information between the BB and everything you use desktop software.   Well, it was no doubt this redirection rule that was causing this probem. Happy its worked out for you.

  With regard to the other issue. Messages is a central point for all incoming mail. This cannot be changed. If you have several e-mail messages to the device configuration and want to check separately, hide the messages icon, and use of these files, if you have only 1 email, you can use either or and hide the other. It is supposed to delete in both directions. its not really 2 emails, this is the same email simply view 2 sites. Its kinda like a House. Visualize being able to see the TV screen in the living room of the entry door and the back door of the House. If someone walked in the front door and took it out, you wouldn't be able to see from the door from behind... and vice versa.
