  Is their any difference in a paid theme and a free theme...  I'm asking this is because all the free themes that I REALLY liked putting my phone in critical crisis... I would not spend money on something that I have to remove the cause of the app space and / or through the reproduction of the themes that I get with the free.

  Some are better than others. I think that the important thing is to know what version of Plazmic has been used.  Themes created with Plazmic beta versions have many more questions.  And the other thing is to pass by respected developers.  Some developers charge because they do extensive testing of the theme (not only create) to ensure that it is there little negative impact on the phone as possible.  But some just load, so try to check the themes first reviews before you buy.

  I admit I am a little while back with the latest OS update, but I just made the other night (update without wire - not with the Office Manager)...  I didn't have to reinstall one of my 3rd party apps (Facebook, MySpace, Google, etc.) but did not re - accept the TERMS.  The first thing I noticed was (obviously) my theme was missing.  I went to recharge, but it does not appear in my list of theme.  I have redownloaded it from the original site (bplay), reinstalled, rebooted, and it does not always show.  I checked my list of applications & it shows here.  I contacted bplay & they are looking at it.  (They were also kind enough to send me a free of my choice theme while I that they were working on a solution, that I downloaded, installed and rebooted... it shows either).  I paid for and downloaded a theme from App World, installed, rebooted... guess what?  Nothing there.  Forum of the ASBL, checked nothing there.  Verified of Crackberry - there is another post, I found the same problem.  Any ideas out there?

  PROBLEM SOLVED!  Cleaned my phone and restored only the things that could not be reloaded with a software update (contacts, calendar, messages, etc.) one by one.  Somewhere in my old system files a bug existed and was recharged in my phone when I restored it.  I have successfully loaded all my old apps, themes of work... Good looking.

  It was not without a fight however.  DM crashed when running the application loader & I got the white screen of death with "App Error 205. Reset. "I've been able to recharge the system software after reading how BlackBerry Solution technique page.

  Hope this helps anyone who may run into this kind of problem!

  I just bought my first Blackberry I've ever owned, and although I have a gift for getting around any new electronic device I buy, there are a lot of areas where I could improve my knowledge when it comes to these phones. I have a Blackberry Curve 8530 and I would like to know if anyone knows of a free battery booster application that actually works? The ones I used here have not really worked.   Is there really such a thing? Certainly we all want more than power, but a stack has a finite amount of energy. Just like baldness cures and male enhancement drugs there are many claims, but little results.

  More realistic would be the battery management and power. The battery on my curve light is more of a * beep * of a real power indicator light. I bought the app called boss of power for $0.99. It tells you your actual power level and how long some functions will run to the power current level. 30% and 20% popup tells your stats. 10% phone normally turned off its radio. Power boss can during the trip that work and leave your shipment one more e-mail, text, etc... That can be useful in a pinch.
  Since the installation of this power management application, I jump my battery much less and use the power I have more effectively.

  The best backup is a computer and according to BB Office Manager, no BB never had a virus!

• BlackBerry Smartphones changed theme/view

  I received my BB curve in December with Orange and loved.  To cut a long story short, there was technical problem which meant Orange replaced.  However, the new replacement has a different theme slightly than the previous.

  He seems to have a few different icons and puts highlight then blue when you scroll over them.  Text messages are also displayed dfferently.

  Anyone know what can be done / how do I change this?  Download the previous version somehow?

  I just got my new Style 9670 a couple of days.  So far, I like it; However, I have two problems with it:

  1. The default calendar for daily display despite having changed the parameter to the order of the day see several times by default.
  2. I downloaded a theme from App World, but I'm not and I don't see how to change the theme.  I love the themes today that show my calendar on the home screen.

  Almost 99% sure there are no themes compatible app World.  Tried without success.  It is worth better try 3rd party at this stage.  However I don't think the OS has been released for the themes to build yet.

  Anyone using this combination on their storm?  I dl the Appleberry theme today and have not installed the Weatherbug application since.  Trying to get a heads up on all issues before trying it.

  I have both and it seems to work very well. Going on two days. It does not show you the temp more so now you highlight the icon to show him that. Other then that, it seems to be ok.

  On a BB, you don't have the same control on which things are installed. Apps to go only to a location when you install them, and you can't move them. I know that in WM you can choose to install the apps from the expansion card or internal memory - you have no choice in BB. The SD card is generally used for things that are really data storage (multimedia files, documents, etc.). If you have saved an original installation (.jad?) file in the internal memory, then that is indeed a data file... it created files of the application when you install and which should stay where they were installed in. only the data file (the .jad file, for example) can be moved to SD.

  Can you go to Options > themes and change back to the default theme?

  Otherwise, start in Safe Mode and then go to change the theme, or even Options > Advanced > Applications and remove the theme.

  the Alx file and cod are installed through DTM(desktop manager) by the application loader

  .jad files are those that you want to send to yourself and click on the link with will download and install from the web (otherwise known as OTA)

  You must be careful on what themes you install if you need to install themes for 83xx series. But you need to install themes for 4.5 specifically. If you install 4.2 is not visible, but also it may crash your machine.
