  Welcome to the community,

  As the PC or laptop requires the restart of our smartphone require also restarts to remove slow, whenever you feel any unusual just give a battery pull reboot I have; e while the unit is on the battery wait a min. then reinsert it wait until it restarts. You can also give a soft reboot by pressing alt + Shift R (aA ^) + DELETE.

  Also avoid any applications running in the background, press on and hold Menu button for a few seconds, it will appear a screen showing running applications or that are still open., remember always to get out of the applications not only to return the key. Try if solves your problem, or alternatively you can visit any Center of Blackberry service to the issue.

  I've had my blackberry "BOLD" now since may, and I can't hear that thing ring when I get incoming calls...

  I tried like almost all of the ringtones on my phone, and even to the low load and I'm ready to smash this thing with a hammer!

  I contacted a site Exchange warranty at & t, and after a bit, they were able to get a sound out of it a little more, but only if I'm in his room, the evidence we could hear this ring of the thing...

  It can be holstered or in my upper left pocket and you'll never hear this thing ring at all, so I'm back too want to break this thing with a hammer, which i paid 300.00 and something and did not get the refund that I misplaced it long enough to miss it time...

  my new blackberry "BOLD" arrived today and I have installed the battery, run if the configuration and made murder the wife call my phone...

  I was so surprised on how strong it was, I darn near left down the thing!

  which means that my old phone has never worked since May when I told...

  now, last night, I was playing with the old, and when I would like to remove the back cover, it was excellent ring volume...

  and I was able to put the lid back in place and always good sound, until I broke the lid in place then would again lose all the volume...

  not sure what is his problem, but now its at & t...

  I bought the storm and love it.  Once all the bugs will be fixed and I find a way to synchronize using bluetooth it will all be just great!

  I have just a new problem which started 10 minutes ago.  When I call people or people call me they can hear me and I can't hear anything.  I checked the volume.  Called several people.  Tried 2 different devices bluetooth, speaker and the headphones.  It is absolutely silent...

  What can I do about it?  I turned the phone market 2 times but it does not remedy.

  Once I removed the battery and installed again the phone started working and now I can hear the conversations.  I hope RIM fixes this issue soon.

  I am new to the world of BBerry, but am well enjoy my curve so far.  But something's bugging me: when someone calls, they hear a ringtone (in my case, it is "Who Are You?" by the Who); It was a ring that I had on my previous phone which I think got transferred.  Here's the problem: I do not see it listed as one of my ringtones.  How can I change this?  (Note that I do not hear this ringtone; "I hear that I have set up in the options).

  I have tones different people can hear depending on the time of day, so they do not have by "Dring Dring.

  This is defined by the carrier... (well mine is, I pay $5 per month)

  Put the sim card in another phone and call. is the appellant still hear the ringing... If Yes, contact your carrier...

  There's a guy I work with and I think he has a Pearl.  When he opens the app world, there the 'shazam' app  It's the application that allows you to hold your phone up to a song, and it will tell you what it is.  I don't find it anywhere tho.  It is an application that is not compatible with the storm?  any information would be appreciated.
