BlackBerry Smartphones NO PHOTO OR VID TXTING?

Hi there I recently got the new blackberry curve 8330.  And im very disappointed by the fact that I can't send the txts photo or video.  My sister is on the network roger and there all phones come with the mms application and they can send txts pic and vid. They can also type more then 140 characters when they are txting and not cut. How is it, telus dosnt allow these fetures? And do I feel like I got ripped off here

The last one I read today, is that Telus has no ability MMS on the BlackBerry. Why, I don't know, it's their blocks, not the BlackBerry.

I advise you to check with Telus or their own user forums.

And in the future, Google is a great resouce of responses like this. Amazing what can find all Google searches.

Good luck.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones pass photos from BB to the PC

The pictures stored in the card media on my Bold 9650 appear not on the BB desktop software to transfer them to my PC. I can see the photos on my BB. The software shows the map of media in areas of device options and shows how it is free. When I click on images in the Media Sync I get the message "no available pictures - there no pictures to import from your device.

I also see the image files using folder in my windows management areas, but of course it is not good to copy on my PC directly because they are encrypted and cannot be opened.

    Thoughts? Thank you!

Ahhhhh... Yes, a policy IT (which would have been my next guess, I promise you! ). If this is the case, then you need to talk to them and these KB may apply:

    • KB21172 How to remove the microSD card encryption
    • KB15244 What is Content Protection and encryption on BlackBerry smartphone
    • KB11963 How do I change the setting for the Protection of the content on the BlackBerry smartphone

It can be much more than the it policy is limit exactly what you are trying to (copy to the PC things of the BB). You should probably talk to them before being certain of what they block, and that they do not block.

    Good luck!

  • Lock blackBerry Smartphones bb photo screen

    Hi all

Anyone know if there is a way to get the photo of blackberry lock that stood on the bones of bb10 on android devices, which was a brilliant lock and fit the dtec50 ideology to be the most secure android phone

    impatience people

    Ed

I checked with the people of our product and I can confirm the DTEK50 does not support the password photo, sorry!

If the functionality is added in the future he would be part of an update to the OS so always make sure that you update your device whenever possible. Here I hear more about support for the DTEK50 I'll be sure to come back and update this thread.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones deleted photo recovery

I was clear a white Peak turned my phone off and this massive deletion started of my photos in my Album in August. Don't know what caused it. Is it possible to recover these photos? More than 200 photos have been deleted.

You get a free PC program called zero assumption recover, google and install it on your PC.

Then, connect your BlackBerry to your PC and run ZAR on your media card to retrieve deleted files.

If photos have been saved in the memory of your media on the device, I don't know if ZAR to extract this suppressed memory space. Try it and see.

  • BlackBerry smartphone transfer photos from pc to curve

Hi, I was wondering if someone can help me please.  I recently bought a BB Curve and I transferred some pictures from my pc to my BB using Roxio Media Manager.  However, by simple drag-and - drop photos to the BB, they are transferred to the size of large file created by my camera.  Therefore, the images are long to load on my BB.  I think it is the reason why, in any case.  Am I wrong?  Is it possible through Media Manager to reduce the size of the photo size before transferring them to my BB?  I appreciate any help you can give.

Just in case this helps someone else, I answered my own question.  In Roxio Media Manager, you click Tools and then Options.  Under Blackberry, you can change the size for saving the photos in the BB.  Photos now much, much faster loading.

  • BlackBerry smartphones, viewing photos from an SD card

    Hello!

Just got my 9850 and love it, except for one item - I 'synchronized' photos from my computer on my device, but I can't get the 9850 to show them.  In fact, I pulled the SD card on the phone and checked on my computer - they are there, but I can't see when the card is in the camera.  I can play my music to the card, but not photos. I'm sure that it's simple, but nothing I've tried works.  Help!

I just did the synchronization using Blackberry Desktop Manager and uploaded photos. I tried to use a reader/writer SD before and then cards that the photos were on the map the 9850 do not recognize them. Hope that helps.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones send photo via Send as default account not the use of e-mail

When you send a photo by e-mail, sending e-mail account will be the first in alphabetical order account on Blackberry.

Rogers "BOLD" w/firmware v4.6.162 tested and reported on Verizon curve.

The changed Options-> Advanced Options-> default Services for the desired accounts and still happening.

    Example:

Media-> photos-> photo files-> select an image and press the Menu, select "send as E-mail".

He will choose the one sent by email as the first in alphabetical order account registered on the BlackBerry not the default account selected in Options in advance.

Is it far away by default to the right account overdue?

  • BlackBerry Smartphones get photo off Blackberry for Mac files

How can I transfer files from photo of my Blackberry Pearl memory to the memory card?  Settings changed without my noticing it and unfortunately the files stored in the device.  I don't have a messaging service and wonder if there are methods to get the pictures.  I have a Mac with Leopard and it does not appear there is a way to use the search function to get to anything on the Blackberry. And Pocketsynch do not synchronize all multimedia files.

You need to go to your media icon,... .once here, press your menu button and select Explorer.  You will see and option to explore the device memory or Media Card.  Go to the memory of the device and navigate to your pictures folder.  Once you select a photo, press the Menu key, then select move.  Then you get and the option to switch to the media (file photo) card.

You can also use your Media Manager which is a feat that is provided by the Office Manager.  This will allow you to move between the device and the memory card support pix multiple files at once...

    I hope that helped!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones download photos from my media on my PC card

I am a new user of BlackBerry Storm and I must say that I like this phone. I have however a problem getting my photos in the card support for my PC. I set up my phone to save my photos to the media card and I can view and send the images using my phone. When I connect my phone he asked me if I want to open my camera to view the files. I click to view files and a window opens showing me 2 icons on is the memory of the device and the other is the media card. When I double click the icon of the next window shows all files. I installed the BlackBerry Desktop Manager and he does not see the memory card and the device. Explorer displays only a drive letter for the device when I run Roxio Media Manager, but it never gives me a drive letter to the media card. I would like to be able to print some of these images, but right now I am at a loss on how to get this working.

Hi renegade13 and welcome to the forums!

You can use a PC for the transfer of information between the PC and the media card.
Basically you focus for the BB and PC USB. Don't use office
Manager. Go to 'My Computer' on the PC and the BB will be displayed as a flash drive.
Then you can "drag and drop" files on the BB.
Use the following settings in the option of memory of the storm:

    Card support ON

    NONE encryption mode

(Storm AND "BOLD" only) Media Transfer Protocol

    WE support mass storage

Auto enable mass storage support when it is connected TO

    Thank you

  • BlackBerry smartphones any photos not recorded on Computer Media Card

How to upload pictures from my Storm Media Card on my computer? I use Blackberry Desktop Manager, I have only to search for images of the device memory in my photo folder in my computer. I have Toshiba laptop, running Windows Vista Home Premium 32.

Once again, thank you for the support. I managed to pass my photos from Media Card to computer. (Windows Photo Gallery) I see pictures of card device and media. I'm still learning how to use Windows Media on my computer. I would say that the problem is resolved for now. If I need help I will ask questions later.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones MMS Photos Upside Down?

I'm kind of at a loss on this.  It seems that most, if not all of the photos I take with my phone and then send it using MMS or e-mail are received by beneficiaries in reverse.  But when I send them they appear right at the top.  What is the meaning I want the phone when I take pictures?  The command buttons on the phone must be in a particular direction?

    Thank you

    -Craig

    Owner of blackberry newbie!

Craig, Hello and welcome to the Forums of Support BlackBerry.com.

When you take a photo on the Storm1 or 2, hold the device in landscape (cereal, no verticle) with the four buttons (red, green, menu) to the right and take the picture. In this way, your photos when sent, sent by MMS or Facebook, will still be standing.

  • BlackBerry smartphones transfer photos from the memory of the unit storm 9530 for computer

I've seen a few similar posts, but nothing worked for me.  I recently went on a trip and took more than 200 pictures on my Blackberry.  I need a simple way to transfer all of them to my computer because obviously send them one at a time, or moving them one at a time is not practical.

When I go to Options > memory, all the options are defined on the (card, Media Transfer Protocol Support) and Mass Storage Mode Support.

When I go to media > pictures > all pictures, I see all of my pictures.  When I go into photo files, it says the device memory.

When connected to my PC via the USB port, I try to pull up in Windows Explorer.  I see options for device MTP - device memory and device MTP - Media Card.  There are only empty folders in the device memory.  Multimedia card has nothing under the data and only my music files in the media.  Similar behavior when I pull up in Windows Media Player.

    Any suggestions?

If you use the Media Manager in the Office Manager are you able to copy the photos from the memory of the device to your computer

  • BlackBerry smartphones download photos to PC

How to download the pictures that I took on my Pearl 8130 to my PC? I don't see this option in the Blackberry Desktop Manager.

You can connect the device to the computer and the device is detected as an external hard drive, open the windows Explorer and find the photo and you can use the copy paste feature to move the image to the pc.

In Blackberry Desktop Manager, you download Roxio Media Manager? because you can use Roxio to transfer the images too.
