It is probably redundant, but I need to get it out. This thing is a frustrating piece of crap embarrising. TELUS is my service provider and they said more or less, sucks to be you, you bought, too badI cant belive RIM would actually put something this bad outside. There is no excuse for that at all.

Answer these:

1. how old is the unit, still in the one year warranty? If so, Exchange it.

2. options > memory. How much memory is process free?

3. options > status. What is the overal free file?

Finally, OS.122 is quite old and has never been a good in my opinion.

Upgrade to the latest OS officially released, which is not OS.148 et.151.

These two works wonders on the 9530 for speed and lightweight of a large part of the LAG.

The upgrade of the OS will help most of the problems.

Keep about 20 MB file free will help many others.

I do not know the icon of a pusher and an another opening. Which is not loud noise and if upgrading the OS does not lighten this question and a few others, get an Exchange if still in warranty.

    I'm the unhappy owner of a Reub curve 8310. Today out of the blue voice dialing has stopped working. Then my Media Player froze. I started getting the dreaded hourglass timer icon, and then he started to drop my calls as well.  Quickly, I deleted all the emails and phone records as well as previous messages. I have very limited photos and music. I am aware that the pathetic OS memory is easily swamped. I downloaded the pathetic 4.2.2 on PC with the (yet another poorly designed software) Roxio Media Manager. The part of corrupt media my Vista 32 bit OS on my laptop (Roxio) Manager. I had to unload the 4.2.2 so I wouldn't have to reload Vista 32 OS and lose all the data on my PC. I'll try to reload v4.2.2 w/o Roxio in the simple goal to reload the OS on my crunchberry so I can get this piece of crap to work just at least for a while. This is my primary phone for individuals and businesses. What a disaster!

    My questions are:

    1. after loading 4.2.2 w/o Roxio how do I load a pic and music on the extra memory on the phone if I have Roxio to sync with my phone. Can I just open 'my computer' access to the phone and drag items into the file 'music' for the phone or the file 'image' for the phone, or it comes will load it in the pathetic czec OS?. In other words the Roxio is the only way to load music and media in the additional memory chip?

    2. the 4.5 update my phone help or just make things worse. It's the only option I get when I search under systems OS phone for the 8310curve.

    3. What are some basic maintenance steps to keep this thing running stable. I lost two hours time valuable work up to now and, eventually, a client trying to fix this piece of junk. The desktop items only addtl I are icons for google maps and yellow pages that appeared when my browser first went to the line.

    I am a Sri Lanakan. Last week, I bought a Blackberry Storm2 9550 used, eBay (from a seller of e. u.). All the functions work fine except the touch screen. Can press on the touchscreen. (edges and around the screen) But he get caught suddenly, and also when am pressing an icon, phone highlights another icon. (as axample, when am pressing contacts in the home screen, phone highlights two contacts and sms). As I suppose, at this time there the phone detects it as multi touch and so I can't support what either. When am reset (battery pull) the phone, it solves the issue for a few minutes or hours, subsequently faced the same question.

    I tried to fix it by putting a piece of paper to the battery cavity, but nothing has changed.

It was created to replace the NSU, which is being depleted. IMEI is a unique number that identifies a piece of wireless equipment (for example, a BlackBerry smart phone)

    So what ever see you if IMEI, NSE, MEID will all the same purpose and is displayed according to the models.

I have the dreaded "app error 523 Reset"... I took the South African Vodacom phone and they don't take because the number of IME is not compatible with their system. I went to repair shops and they can't solve the problem. I tried the instructions on site and forums of blackberry without success. I even downloaded the OS on my PC and tried to solve the problem without success. The seller in Cape Town has not responded to my SOS. I have no one else to turn to. What I have now is a dead piece of fancy equipment that I have spent a fortune on my scholarship and I used for a month only 3 or pleased...! Was there a problem with the storm series that someone is not talking? I bought with enthusiasm the BBerry starting to regret.
