BlackBerry smartphones save photos to pc

Hello, I have a BB "BOLD", and using the 5.0 version of Desktop Manager I can't find an option to move photos I took with my BB to my pc. That from pc to BB. any ideas?

Thanx

Hi and welcome to the forums!

You can use a PC for the transfer of information between the PC and the media card.
Basically you focus for the BB and PC USB. Don't use office
Manager. Go to 'My Computer' on the PC and the BB will be displayed as a flash drive.
Then you can "drag and drop" files on the BB.
Use the following settings in the option of "BOLD":
Card support ON

NONE encryption mode

(Storm AND "BOLD" only) Media Transfer Protocol

WE support mass storage

Auto enable mass storage support when it is connected TO

Thank you

until a week ago, my photos from the camera were always saved in the photo folder... I don't know what exactly happened after a download of an application the photo r all gone and newcomers are not stored on the record and I have no idea where keeps him phone them... I can see them only through pc... I have updated downgrade the version of the operating system and still the problem persists...

Someone has an idea how I can solve this problem?

Hi again... I found the solution to my problem... The user of the file was hidden...

Solution through PC... Connect your BB to your computer and use it as a USB key. Click on the Blackberry as an external hard drive and make sure that, under the folder HOME USER folder is not hidden. (click right properties and change the attribute is not hidden)

  • BlackBerry Smartphones pass photos from BB to the PC

The pictures stored in the card media on my Bold 9650 appear not on the BB desktop software to transfer them to my PC. I can see the photos on my BB. The software shows the map of media in areas of device options and shows how it is free. When I click on images in the Media Sync I get the message "no available pictures - there no pictures to import from your device.

I also see the image files using folder in my windows management areas, but of course it is not good to copy on my PC directly because they are encrypted and cannot be opened.

    Thoughts? Thank you!

Ahhhhh... Yes, a policy IT (which would have been my next guess, I promise you! ). If this is the case, then you need to talk to them and these KB may apply:

    • KB21172 How to remove the microSD card encryption
    • KB15244 What is Content Protection and encryption on BlackBerry smartphone
    • KB11963 How do I change the setting for the Protection of the content on the BlackBerry smartphone

It can be much more than the it policy is limit exactly what you are trying to (copy to the PC things of the BB). You should probably talk to them before being certain of what they block, and that they do not block.

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones download photos from my media on my PC card

I am a new user of BlackBerry Storm and I must say that I like this phone. I have however a problem getting my photos in the card support for my PC. I set up my phone to save my photos to the media card and I can view and send the images using my phone. When I connect my phone he asked me if I want to open my camera to view the files. I click to view files and a window opens showing me 2 icons on is the memory of the device and the other is the media card. When I double click the icon of the next window shows all files. I installed the BlackBerry Desktop Manager and he does not see the memory card and the device. Explorer displays only a drive letter for the device when I run Roxio Media Manager, but it never gives me a drive letter to the media card. I would like to be able to print some of these images, but right now I am at a loss on how to get this working.

This menu is to come. I check to see if it saves however automatic, the image is not the case in my photo folders.

With the BlackBerry device powered time, remove battery for a few seconds and then reinsert the battery to restart.

    Now, try again.

I was clear a white Peak turned my phone off and this massive deletion started of my photos in my Album in August. Don't know what caused it. Is it possible to recover these photos? More than 200 photos have been deleted.

You get a free PC program called zero assumption recover, google and install it on your PC.

Then, connect your BlackBerry to your PC and run ZAR on your media card to retrieve deleted files.

If photos have been saved in the memory of your media on the device, I don't know if ZAR to extract this suppressed memory space. Try it and see.

Is there a way to save attachments in a folder as you would on your PC?

    Hello

If your Blackberry can read the attached file, you can save it.

If this isn't the case, you can't. In this case, usually, I sent to myself and read mail with webmail in the Blackberry browser, and then I can save the attachment.

  • BlackBerry smartphone transfer photos from pc to curve

Hi, I was wondering if someone can help me please.  I recently bought a BB Curve and I transferred some pictures from my pc to my BB using Roxio Media Manager.  However, by simple drag-and - drop photos to the BB, they are transferred to the size of large file created by my camera.  Therefore, the images are long to load on my BB.  I think it is the reason why, in any case.  Am I wrong?  Is it possible through Media Manager to reduce the size of the photo size before transferring them to my BB?  I appreciate any help you can give.

Just in case this helps someone else, I answered my own question.  In Roxio Media Manager, you click Tools and then Options.  Under Blackberry, you can change the size for saving the photos in the BB.  Photos now much, much faster loading.

  • Settings for blackBerry Smartphones save BB before you perform the deletion of security

Hello, we are heading to an environment of internal e-mail to Microsoft Online Services hosted email. I understand the process that all BlackBerry users will have to do a wipe of security before the reactiving of their devices. What is the best way for users to save/keep their settings before they perform the security wipe? Is it only possible to do this via the Desktop Manager? I ask because not all of our users have / use the Desktop Manager. Thanks for any help on this!

Right. Using the feature of backup and restore in the Desktop Manager is the only option for you I think. Could not set the Desktop Manager on a shared drive that everyone has access to for them to install it?

If you were using a BES I suggest using the BlackBerry Web Desktop Manager because you can configure it to allow anyone to access it from your intranet

  • BlackBerry smartphones, viewing photos from an SD card

    Hello!

Just got my 9850 and love it, except for one item - I 'synchronized' photos from my computer on my device, but I can't get the 9850 to show them.  In fact, I pulled the SD card on the phone and checked on my computer - they are there, but I can't see when the card is in the camera.  I can play my music to the card, but not photos. I'm sure that it's simple, but nothing I've tried works.  Help!

I just did the synchronization using Blackberry Desktop Manager and uploaded photos. I tried to use a reader/writer SD before and then cards that the photos were on the map the 9850 do not recognize them. Hope that helps.
