When you're sitting in front of my computer I want to disable the receipt of emails while still having my phone on and work.  How can I do?

    Hello Tallydupp, welcome.

Do you by chance have Google Desktop? Some users have reported interference problems in Winodws 7 while using an older version of Google Desktop.
Try to uninstall it if it exists.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones flushed down the toilet - everything works except the speaker...

Hi, hope someone can help you.

As the title suggests, I emptied my phone down the loo (it was an accident), but now everything works perfectly, but I have no sound.

Thus, no ringing and I checked the music & who doesn't work or the other.  I guess something has fried, does anyone have suggestions?

    Thank you very much.

How long has been parched? Probably not enough, something like that REQUIRES 4-5 full days, no battery, no checked during the process and left in rice dry throughout the period.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones sorry for the trouble, but a matter of encryption

I know I've read several posts on the topic, but it's still not not clear to me. It is once require you encryption of the microsd card, can I copy these files from the blackberry on your desktop? Y at - it magical that must be done in order to.

    Thank you

Yes, you can copy the files over, however they are always encrypted.

You must remove the encryption on the card in the BlackBerry smartphone first, and then move the files, so that they can be used.

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not send mail

    Hi all;

Strange thing happened today, I can receive mail, but sends no... when I try and send, it looks like he's trying, then appears a black window with a question mark and the ok button.  I have pulled the battery, connected on my account my storm BIS and done a service to send books.  Does anyone else have this problem?

    D.

What email ID is facing problems?

You can remove the BIS for this ID integration and add it again.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones turn off E-mail

Is there a way to disable the part "e-mail" from the phone when I'm at the office?  I have my PC it so really no need to check it out from the phone.  I have everything just to remove...

Yes, manage connections > Network Mobile = unchecked.

After you check it out again, it is likely (depending on your configuration) you will get all the e-mail e-mail anyway.

  • Smart blackBerry Smartphones could BBProtect with deleated BB - ID phone

    Hello

Is possibe ist to disconnect a device of BBProtect after that the BB ID is already deleated?

Even reinstalling the operating system has not solved the problem. After the reboot you must fill the deleated BB - ID.

If you delete the BBID while BlackBerry Protect is always enabled on the device, you killed the camera and hope to use again.

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not send messages or make phone calls

My BB torch worked fine earlier, but there is an hour, it just stopped.  He has connections and bars, until in the Connections window bit. I tried it turn on and off as well as to take out the battery after it's off to reset.  I tried to remove all of my old conversations in the phone as well. I can still connect to the internet on this topic very well.

Hello and welcome to the community!

I suggest the following, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come...) Please wait for this before moving on to the next step):

    (1) registry HRT

    • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network

    (2) remove and return Service directories

    • KB05000 Remove the maintenance book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account in the BlackBerry smartphone
    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service

    (3) restart to take batt

    • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

I hope that will move things again for you! If this isn't the case, then you should contact your provider of wireless services for formal support.

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones was updated for the first time phone

Hi im currently with the dodo Australia, I wonder can I get updates because when I went to the dodo Australia blackberry wasn't there. I used the phone for a while but now want to configure e-mail and everything I can on the subject. I have the Blackberry Storm 9500, if that helps.

    Thank you

You can download any OS you want here:
    http://NA.BlackBerry.com/eng/support/downloads/download_sites.jsp

Once installed on your PC, you should remove all files named "vendor.xml." This 'cut' and allow you to install this OS on your device.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones AT & T can't find my phone... or he can't find them

Well, here you go. Background: me... This 8310 curve is my first ever smart phone. Never sent a text. Have only a vague understanding of what an application is, and the idea to interface my phone with my computer is scarey.  I'm strarting to ground ZERO. Please use acronyms as little as possible, because I don't know what you're talking about. Thank you.

Since the beginning: first of all, I'm pretty broke so I found an absolutely Virgin opportunity AT & T Blackberry curve 8310 online, & don't want to enter into a contract now because of a cross contry pass soon, so I plan to use Straighttalk wireless. I'm now w / AT & T.

Don't know if these are good ideas, but I'm new & dumb, then let's get past & on the problem.

Everything about the operation of the phone leads me to believe that he saw virtually no use & especially no abuse.

I put my AT & T SIM in the phone, called AT & T and told them I wanted to turn it on. They have connected it & said I'd be ready to go, but the phone remains in SOS signal mode.

So we (the AT & T tech & me) starts 2 hours of diagnosis. To search the water for the reset, reboot & proceedures damage I don't understend & that's why I don't remember the specifics of. I'm sorry for that, especially if it means that you don't have enough to go. But I have ti think that after 2 hours of it that we got through all of the common issues.

So, I guess that why I'm here is to ask if someone has been through this & found some quirky thing bit on the wall to solve. I guess I can't exclude a material defect, but the guy I got the phone says used successfully for a short period & stored. (Says he will give me a refund, so I don't think it takes anything)  It literally looks brand new & functions the same way, except that AT & T shows no signal except the thing of SOS.

This just happens with phones? If I don't give enough information, please ask, but don't forget, I'm really stupid things. I have the v4.5.0.174 of desktop software.

My phone says it's v4.5.0.182 (Platform 2.7.0.106) I did some update phone that displayed on my computer

I don't think I've ever done in a forum where no one has stopped the same to say hi so far.

I found my problem anyway, so no entry is necessary

  • How can blackBerry smartphones, I download my phonebook from one phone to another

I change service providers to one that has the local technical support but horrible coverage (Sprint) to that which do not have local support or provide you with a phone. Sprint uses no SIM card. I use a 9330 with Sprint and received a 8310 old until I can afford to buy a new phone. I want to download my phonebook to my 9330 on my 8310. Does anyone know how to do this? I have the Blackberry Desktop Software on my PC, but it treats each phone separately, and I don't see where is my phone book.

There is no copy paste. You need to connect the old phone and choose Save.
You can choose to only back up your contacts.
You now have them all safely stored.
When you receive your new phone, you can plug it in and it will ask you if you want to restore a profile. Say Yes and restore the saved. Easy.
