  I seem to have lost my text icon. I can send texts by xyz/send my contacts/SMS and see the answer, but if someone sends me a text I have no way of knowing.

  On your home screen, press MENU (icon blackberry), scroll down to the bottom where you will see the ICON SHOW ALL option > mark it by pressing ENTER , search for your homescreen also in different folders.

  IF you don't try a battery pull reboot i; e. While the device is powered out of the expectation of the battery for 1 min. then reinsert it wait until your device restarts.

  My 'text' icon disappeared recently in the menu "All".  Apparently, it was replaced by a second 'contacts' icon  Fortunately I got it in the "Favorites" menu as well, so I can still access them.  However, it is annoying to have to return to the Favorites menu just to read a text message.

  I have since put it so text messages go to the Inbox of General messages, but I would have preferred to return the icon.  I tried to pull the battery nothing works.  Any suggestions?

  Not sure if anyone has this error or if there is a way to simply refresh and delete it but I have a weird problem.

  The bar at the top of the screen between "select profile" and the "magnifying glass search" where notifications pop up do not know what called this page but in this slide to the bottom of the screen in text Messages, I have a text message which is housed to unread. Even if I deleted the text message and I tried everything to try to make it disappear. Today, I have a Blackberry Messenger Message that will not clear as well. Does anyone else have this problem and find a way to refresh and get ride of it? I have tried turning the unit on and off a few times, but does not resolve the issue.

  mine did, sometimes ill leave it there and it will go away or I just reboot my phone with the ALT + SHIFT + DELETE key combination

  Go to options, select screen/keyboard to keyboard in Portrait mode. It could be that? Glance at this page, there are many options available. Should find what you want.

  I just activated my storm last Thursday, and Yes this is my first BB. I went to put in place to transfer my emails from my Yahoo account, but I'm not able to do. I goto the program installation and Setup, there are three options, "configuration wizard configure Bluetooth and e-mail settings. If I take either Assistant configuration or e-mail settings, I get the same result. She asked, "if I was not to create or add an email address or if I want to use an e-mail account to work with a BB Enterprise Server". I choose the first and then click Next. The next screen says: "after you click Next, the setup of the Internet Service of BB application opens. "After completing the implementation you e-mail, press the Menu key and click Close. I then click Next and says "Connecting to the e-mail settings" with the little clock and then comes up saying "your account has been suspended. Please contact your system administrator.

  Hello and welcome!

  You must call your operator to support... it's your account (not the company BES) BIS and in some sort it has locked on their end. Same thing happened to me and I called my operator (ASBL), and they had it fixed immediately.

  Subsequently, you will find may be easier to use the web interface of a PC BIS to configure your email address. To do this, the email to the same address settings Wizard on the storm, but create an ID and password of the account (NOT an email @BB account). Next, you will use the following to find your carriers BIS website:

  Then, go to this site with a PC and connect using the credentials that you created on your Storm. From there on, you can more easily (IMO) manage the email accounts for the BIS conduit for your storm.   Ive just got a 8900 & Id like to change how to display the contacts list - for now I just get the name of the contact came but I'd like show the number too.  It IE by going to the "Language" option, I can change that, but I don't have this option on my Blackberry..., any ideas on how I can do this.   IF you open your address book > Menu button > Options, you will find a way to display your contacts by name or company.

  There is no option to display the phone number. Some contacts may have a single number, some might have 4-5 digits. You want to see one or all to display in the address book list?

  There is no way to do it.
