  I have a new 8300 Curve series which is still under the return policy. I changed my profile from "Normal" to "Loud." Because the change does not ring, it vibrate when you receive a call. This isn't a remedy useful for me, as I have a case of Otter skin that makes a lot of time to change the battery.   If this happens when you use the loud profile and not when you use the normal profile, it simply means that you need to configure the strong profile according to your needs. The name of 'Loud' is just a name. To watch how it is configured.
