  There is a message not read somewhere, but you do not look in the right place. Here's how to find this message.

  1. Screen homepage > "Mmessages" application
  2. menu > search
  3. leave everything blank except:
     • Search type: Local
     • Include encrypted messages: Yes
     • Service: All Services
     • Folder: All files
     • Show: Sent and received
     • Type: all the

  2. you will see the messages. Mark as read or delete them.

  It's a message to push browser it is yellow.
  If it's blue, it's a WAP push message.

  1. open your main message folder.
  2. press the Menu button (on the left of the trackball).
  3. click on view files.
  4. click on browser Push (or WAP Push Messages) messages.
  5. read or remove the messsage.

  I just bought my BB Curve and read through all the documentation. There is a small black icon that resembles the cross with two lines on the right side (to indicate the pronunciation, I guess). I looked through everything and you do not find what it means. See the attached image, icon is circled in red. What does that mean?

  On the desk below the date and time, I have a yellow dot with a number to the left of this one.  I think it's a type of message or alert, but I can't.  The yellow dot looks like there as a symbol of the book markings.  Any information is appreciated.  Thank you.

  This could be a Wap Push message or browser.

  Go to your Messages folder > Menu > view folders > and open the Wap Push and Push browser messages folder.

  Find the unread message and read it or delete it.

  Assuming you mean the icon organish in the upper top right of your screen, which resembles a gallows with a noose... who would be hanged.

  There is a setting in the game that allows you to receive daily updates. Look in the game > options for it and disable it.

  I had the same notification on during some time and you have enough to see every morning.

  I searched through other forums... I tried to open the message list and unfortunately on some old message there is a "NEW on APP WORLD '... BB is sending me a notification for the new application? I think it's the purpose of the white envelope with black bb icon with red counter. Thanks to all who responded.

  Press caps on the PKB once to toggle caps. He will stay until the upper button is press once again, or a charater key. Press and hold the upper button on the PKB and the arrow will become solid. Theis is caps lock shift and each pressed for caps lock key will be crucial. Press the caps button to turn off caps lock.

  its probabaly a browser message, go to the menu icon and push Messages and choose browser messages.

  I have a symbol that I'm trying to figure.  Yesterday, the symbol has been preceded by the number 3, this morning 4 and a few minutes later, after reading a few emails, it was a 5.

  The symbol is on the home screen, just below the date.  It's in a little blue box with what appears to be a cross and in the upper right corner, a small red dot, or possibly an asterisk.

  I tried to read various messages in that regard, but nothing really answered my question.  I have my Hotmail and the student on the Blackberry's e-mail.  When I reconcile in the mail folder, nothing happens.  Isn't the point to reconcile supposed to do the mirror of the Hotmail Inbox Blackberry and vice versa?

  On my computer, there are a number of icons in folder with a square in the left corner and inside room is a blue arrow pointing upwards to the right.  Although I can remove access is denied to those folders.
  I created a network to move files from my old computer to this one so that they can have something to do.
  What is this icon, and if I can delete the folder?

  What part of "leave alone" was unclear? ;-) Seriously, just leave them alone! You can hide them by checking the option hide hidden files in Control Panel > Folder Options. Even though I like to show hidden files in Windows XP, I hide in Vista (unless I'm troubleshooting) because otherwise things seem to be so messy. You can do the same thing. MS - MVP - Elephant Boy computers - don't panic!

  The icon is just below my signal icon and a telephone receiver (the receiver is put down) with an arrow hitting and bounces off. I have no idea of what it is and cannot find it on other forums... someone has seen this before? He is not one of the icons of calls missed, placed or received...

  If it's exactly under the 1XEV, no worries is a normal display of the CDMA signal, you get used to it.

  The GSM signal display does not show this icon only 3G or EDGE.
