  I've been using Yahoo Messenger and it works very well.  Today I tried to send a photo to a Messenger contact who I was in a conversation with and I got an error saying that it did not have any contact.  When I looked at the status of the person, I was chatting with, it says offline, which I know was not the case.  This is not a chat text effect.  It only becomes a problem trying to send media.  Messenger has the status of the person as being "offline" then when the phone trying to send a picture, he doesn't see one online.

  If someone has noticed this?  Is there a solution?

  What you see is just the icon of the shortcut to install. It is placed through a directory of services driven by your carrier. If you delete the corresponding service book, the icon will disappear and reappear when the service book is pushed again...

  So, the best advice is to hide. Menu > hide.  They take up very little storage space, don't worry about this.

  I just downloaded the new version of Yahoo Messenger and I like the user interface. But whenever a new version comes out, this application creates a less complete story of contact behavior. There are several versions the contact's status appeared in the open conversation, as well as of the timestamp, the date on which the status. This includes Idle and Custom state changes. Who has disappeared. In the latest version, we could see the time the contact signed in or out last and sometimes both. Now they are gone as soon as you close the conversation.

  The idea of having Yahoo until on the BlackBerry all the time, it's that you don't have to be staring at the screen all the time, you should be able to come out of your pocket and find the events that took place that does not trigger alarms.   I am trying to remove the my BB8900 yahoo Messenger but I still get emails.

  What I've done so far, it was go in the list of applications and check if there is a line mensioning Yahoo. It wasn't, so I was already wondering how to remove it. On the internet, I found that I have to remove the service I did! (Do not remember well, but I think that there are two lines to remove.)

  Problem is that I have always received emails, send to my yahoo on my blackberry account.

  This morning entered the list of the modules and deleted the YHO BBS2 (or something like that)

  At out the battery and restarted 1 minute later... guess what still emails on my blackberry?

  This is getting crazy!

  I think that AT & T does not support Yahoo IM. Also, I compared the books of service among other suppliers and the AT & T brand is not the book of Yahoo Messenger service in the list. Too bad for those who have AT & T service. The 8120 has wifi but AT & T version does not have UMA/wifi calling.

  According to critics of the app in the BlackBerry World, this seems to be a lot of people is a problem. It is not as obvious in the Android version of the app. If you do not want to load the Android version for your phone, follow the steps described here and you will be up and running in no time.
